Aimlab not Aimlabs
What was your starting score? I started at 48,000 and now I'm at 72,000 after 5 days. I don't feel like this is really helping my aim though. I feel like I'm just getting better at this unrealistic task. I want to hit 100k but not sure if it is worth it.
I feel like gridshot doesnt help my aim as much as other scenarios but its definitely the most fun
Yeah it’s a good scenario to feel good about speed, but so many scenarios do so much more for you!
It is only for improving reaction time and cognition
Same, I just do it to warm up my wrist lmaoo
False gridshot is great to learn your sens and be confortable with it, improving flick, reaction time, and aim in general
Definitly one of the best scenerio for aim in aimlab,I recommand smaller target to improve much more
There is one thing he doesn’t mention the will help you immensely I’m improving on gridshot specifically which is accuracy over speed and score. Whenever I started getting to egoboosted over the score I was getting I’d slow down and focus on just hitting 95% accuracy minimum. Once I started hitting 96 or 97% accuracy I’d speed up. And since I’m
Able to be so accurate there are times where it feels like I just can’t miss and I enter that flow state. Have a matrix moment and just hit a super high score. Just recently hit 92k with 97%. My avaerage though is more like 84-85k with 95%-94% accuracy. If my accuracy drops below 95% I’ll focus more on accuracy until it’s back to 95.
Love this bro, exactly the right mindset!
Reminds me of what JustinGuitar always say "practise doesn't make perfect, practise makes permanent" so do it slow and right and speed will come

WHAT I LEARNED AFTER ALMOST 200HRS ON THESE AIM TRAINERS : Focus More on Tracking
That's definitely one I need to work on. My flicking is pretty good but tracking is less than stellar lmao 😂😂😂😂
@@xboxgamertrev6763 Ya same lol
Spheretrack 360 is the most frustrating thing ever
@@yoichi6064 what is your sensitivity/360, and do you use a focal length tracking method by Kovaak's to match sensitivity feeling with different FOVs? (e.g. my sens at 106.26 horizontal FOV, aka csgo's/apex legend's 16:9 fov, or 90 ingame since source only cares about 4:3) is about 25.5 cm while it's 19.5 cm at 120 fov, and it feels exactly the same
but even though it feels exactly the same (with crosshair vs distance of enemy *onscreen* instead), spheretrack 360 feels a bit easier since I need less space to do a 360. Maybe you should try it
"Poor tracking: your aim is well below average..." yeah... gotten used to seeing that insight lol.
"What scares you the most?"
"Aiming"
4:17
It still does for me sometimes funny enough. As a player who has decent game sense and can play really good mind games in any sort of gunfight, I feel really confident when I'm tossing nades, using RPGs and all. When I am holding an actual rifle or something though I panic and get really scared to engage using aim, as ridiculous as it sounds 😂
@@sugar1930 Check out the game "Nine to Five", the developers are trying to appeal to people who have good game sense but struggle with aim. They are trying to make the game less of "I outgunned you" than others.
Saw this in my recommendation everyday for 2 weeks, did not regret clicking on it finally.
I love how in the title it says "I wasted"
It’s wasted because this will not help you improve at the actual game and aimlabs can only be used as a warmup.
ik but i love how it say it
Well it was wasted because he played aimlab.
@@flake8114 “aimlab is only a warmup” yeah, surely doing the right scenarios depending on what game you play doesn’t improve your aim, pfft
@@orange-dm8fx Sure, you maybe get better mouse control over time but it’s not as efficient as going in dm. You won’t be practicing recoil control, crosshair placement, movement speeds of each gun varies etc. If you’re really persistent in practicing your aim in an aim trainer gridshot is not the way.
I'd recommend you guys to try and focus more on Six Shots than Grid Shot since valorant/csgo prioritize you to aim on the head first before going through body shots. What I do is 15 mins of Six Shots to get my muscle memory pumped and ready then another 5-10 mins of Grid Shots to get good blood flow through my arms. It did eventually improved my headshot % in valorant. And btw I used to grind Grid Shot and I scored 105k+ tops. It works for me better but idk if works on you cuz we're all diff and we learn through diff methods. :)))
And sorry for my bad english. :D
Great advice, another to add is always push for new scenarios and aim for accuracy and moving targets to constantly improve.
@@potatogaming2571 there wasn’t anything bad about it brotha. Also thanks for the advice u a real one for that God bless
It would be a nice drill for me,thx.hope i can improve my aim soon and play well in valorant
You need to stop practicing aim so much, it will make you good but it won’t in reality. Practicing too much aim makes you rely it on all too much.
Yo as someone who has also spent alot of time on gridshot itself around 45 hours i got soo surprised since everything you have mentioned here are things ive also learned and applied myself
Dude, that is awesome to hear! Glad I am not alone!
And I learned it all in 7 minutes

Guys help, my bind is alt f4 to shoot but everytime I press shoot key it closes my game. My PC sucks
I've been grinding Spidershot for a while and I think it is really helping my flicking ability. I think it is a better exercise than gridshot is.
I just started out and i do a combination of gridshot, spidershot and motion shot, and i was surprised i was at a wrong sensitivity kn cs for a year, i changed to a lower one in aimlab and i was immediately able to aim consistently
ultra instinct is only obtained when you tell your body to let go.
Motionshot is really good for your aim. Helps you with mostly one taps.
Been saying this for so long. I main Kovaaks (I think it’s harder) and anytime I come back and do gridshot (about once a month) my high score rises. Sitting at 97k currently and that’s because clicking speed/accuracy is much better trained with BPM/Tempo on smaller targets. Micro-adjustments on smaller targets > clicking speed on big targets
Just finished my first month in aimlab. For the first 3 weeks I mainly focused on the accuracy of my shots and found myself to significantly improve mainly from tracking my highscore in aimlab from 60k to 75k in gridshot (for this period I only used aimlab as a metric of how much I improved my aim) . For the last week, I decided to do speed tasks in aimlab primarily lots of gridshots, microshots and reflexshots(targets having low durations); thinking that it would somewhat maximise my muscle memory. However, my average scores revolving around flicking showed gradual decrease after that period and I find myself to under/overshoot on my targets and some slight stutters instead of being crisp/clean flicks.
TL;DR always make good habits.
I am getting hypnotized by the clips running in the background 😂😂
As a player with 300 hours on aimlab i only use gridshot for fun or for adapt more easily to a new sens. For example i switched from 0.943 to 0.754 at 400 dpi, and in only 3 days i already feel confortable by grinding gridshot, but for practice i prefer multishot ultimate
I follow yo because you are INSANE. It’s antomoro here and I will be always here for you man. I hope the best for you man if I have to be honest I like you like a friend man, I follow you since 2017 you awesome
Your channel is soooooooo underrated ! I've juste discovered it 2 days ago while searching for apex aim tips w/ Kovaak's, keep it up !
I can 100% vouch for this... I hit 130k on gridshot and I can say that my tracking now is lacking, AND hand pain is a real thing.
I always play gridshot first just to get my arm moving and warm-up. Then I play something like spidershot precision to actually focus on my aim, and get the muscle memory for my flicks dialed in before hopping into whichever game I'm playing.
I got like 90 hours on aimlab..
well, I trained bad in the beginning, so I guess those hours don't count at all, and my sensitivity kept on changing for a while.
But Gridshot does increase the control over mouse by familiarising you with your sensitivity.
The most important thing to practice is obviously Tracking , which I didn't and I wish I did that more instead
Have also spent 100+ hours in gridshot, I think some other things to note are that;
1) As an osu player as well, I feel like it helps translate aim from cursor games a lot better in to FPS's in general
2) It does help with micro-movements, just not as efficiently as other tasks, don't be like me and forget to train in other flick tasks to get a wider range of angles.
3) I guess this is more of a tip for those who do want to improve in gridshot; find a song with a strong beat, get comfortable with it, then change the playback speed to higher to increase your speed. Music will also help you get in to that state of flow that everybody loves
I found it really help me with finding a comfortable mouse grip that still allowed me to aim. As previously there were things in my technique that were holding me back. Im hitting a high score over 20,000 of what I was previously.
Someone in my gaming group suggested I get on Aimlabs, gridshot looks like it's great for testing different sensitivities. I'm used to fairly high sensitivity in games, currently running 4.5 in Apex and that felt low to me initially. This scenario looks like a great way to adjust to a lower sensitivity but it's nice to see someone else having dumped tons of time into it and highlighting its limitations.
Dude i was hearing the exact same song when the video startet and thought i forgot to pause spotify, but i didnt. Mind = blown and truly best song for vibing while playing gridshot.
"It only trains an odd part of the aim that is not often utilised in real world scenarios"
quiet kid: "are you sure about that?"
I am scared...and I am unsure why.
I think gridshot only help u to improve ur click time , flicks and reflex , but in a real game scenario u need to have another abilities that only gridshot doesnt help. Tracking for example
OK so I'm not at 60 hours yet, but I've been doing this... and today I manged to pull off my best flick shot ever on hell let loose lmao, kar 98, 60 metres away, 2 or 3 inch flick. felt good man
Sometimes we surprise ourselves don't we? Makes us wonder what we're really capable of
@@kuro758 I really like this comment
I fell like gridshot is the easiest aim labs training and that’s why a lot of people play it the other ones people are scared to get bad accuracy and points but they don’t realize that your going to suck at first but the numbers will start to get better as you train!
I feel like it’s a fun intro to warming up for the day whatever shooter you’re playing
this is just becoming osu
This is an accelerated target acquisition drill. Basically the goal is to improve how accurately and how quickly you put your crosshairs on your target . This will only improve target acquisition if you use it like that. Locking on is one thing but there are different aspects to aiming. It's not one thing. Aiming means TA , tracking and predicting where the target will most likely go . When I do the drills I know what I'm working on , that way I know what I need to work kn
In my experiences, I’ve only been on pc for 4 months, and using this scenario really helps me a lot, I’ve gotten so much better at every game that I play such as CSGO, Val and Overwatch, I tend to top Frag in most matches now and I’ve gotten as good if not better than most of my friends who have been on pc for years!! I was in Controller for 15 years and ofc my aim is better on a controller for now
Look forward to hearing the day where your aim on mouse and key is better! Keep at it!
@@Dazs thank you! I have a high score now of 81k and I tend to top frag or 2nd frag now in gold nova and higher games!
U play gridshot?
U should grind tracking strafetrack like ,that would make u insane. @dazs
Watching you play that feels like I'm experiencing a siezure, wow. That's unbelievable
Grid shot is a great STARTING POINT to bettering your aim. Start off on gridshot until your flicks stable. Then move only focus TRACKING and do the valorant scenarios as they are closest to in game situations compared to the other moving UI in the aimlabz default. Flicks are crawling stage in learning to run
Omg the background
my brain i almost throw up
I've played fps on pc for 4 or 5 years now, after more than 10 years of playing console fps. I thought i was ok, diamond on rainbow six, almost global on cs and got radiant on valorant. I decided to try practicing at least half an hour of aimlab everyday, specially gridshot. First day i got a maximum of 65k points, second day i got a little bit better. A week later i was doing like 75-80k and today after a month I'm getting above 90k average easily. I learned to play better with single fire weapons and click faster, as well as not lose my grip after flicking too much and all
Edit: and yeah, relaxing helps, I'm a real anxious person and got myself shaking and under/over flicking because of it st first, but now i barely try hard to hit the targets lol
Great video, dude, bro, as always! :)
I wish aimlab would just automatically put you through the game types that you need.
How would they know what you need? There’s plenty of options for you to choose from and you can even create your own playlist.

Of cource there are better senarios. Grindshot recently started to become where people show their ego's. I personaly use 60hz so it is incredibly hard for me to take 100k in it. Same goes to detectionshot if you got 60hz monitor you can forget about above%90 score. Many people judge me because of my grindshot scores which it is 90k right now. But gues what. Im all most in every tracking tasks leaderboard right now which 3 of them are top 10. When people are wasting their time in ruby and emerald just because of grindshot. I easly hit the diamond 3 with a legit way.
With a legit way i mean i played eacht task same amount of number.

Gridshot is pretty good for warming up my wrist and all my aiming muscles cause it requires numerous and speedy motions.
Gridshot helps with comfortability. Not necessarily training. I see it as mini game, warm up and just to familiarize yourself with moving the mouse and what grip works. It's not necessarily used to "train" anything outside of your actual physical mechanics and grip, distance, etc. You can try new things with gridshot to find a broad sweet spot then fine tune it in other modes.
At first i was improving my aim in other game from aimlab
But now i play aim lab for aimlab
what a chill video
For me GRIDSHOT helped a lot to increase my click rate and made me confident flick faster . My aim isn't great around 65K Highest and 58 to 60k is average with 95% accuracy. Its my 3rd day result.
All your points were valid in video.
Found out that I was flexing my wrist in intense situation.
Heavy mouse (g402) seems to be a problem with speed but not sure.
ill train everyday lets me see how far it helps me.
did you improve?
If anybody here is a fan of edm music you should listen to one of those typa songs. because they have a high bpm youll automatically get that rythm consistent. my top score improved from 69k to 74k in like 4 minutes
Aimlabs really helps gain the eye hand coordination you need for fps gaming especially if you're a beginner. But once you gain it the benefits of Aimlabs becomes less. I
Agreed, only way it helps if you isolate problems you have and can grow them there! :)
@@Dazs there are something's that are interest though, like it telling me that I'm less accurate when aiming to the right than left. Another thing I noticed is that I don't need as much warm up (I only play 3 times a week because adulting). I'm still using it to see what other benefits it has outside of just coordination.
The thumbnail of this video gave me a dejavu 😳
I switch my sens around a lot, sometimes I go from 400 - 800 dpi, and maybe turn my sens a notch up or two and I feel like grid shot is the best game mode for learning a new sens, as it lets me know exactly how much I need to flick from x to y, to hit a headshot/or spray body shots instead of having to play hundreds of hours in the game and trying to figure it out first hand as instead I can just hop into grid spot for an hour or two and almost instantly learn my new sens instead
why is this relaxing?
I think there are better tasks in aim labs for aiming, but... playing grid shot helps to warm up your hand, so you don’t feel dumb, and it helps a bit with muscle memory, so welll it’s not entirely useless, but there are better tasks to help you get better
No such thing as muscle memory in aiming
Hey Dazs, are you using your hipfire sens or ads sens? thanks

And may I know your rank?
Thats because you didnt set your sensitivity as the same to the game ur trying to get better aim on
@@skiez7430 no, it's because gridshot is dogshit compared to other scenarios like sixshot and other proper scenarios. Gridshot should only be a warmup scenario
This mode is the best warm-up IMO.
Im very new to pc gaming and it really helped me get used to actually using my arm instead of just my wrist in games. I feel more in control aswell.I feel like gridshot has helped me realise one thing tho... I need to get a monitor thats more than 60Hz. Having a powerful pc but 60Hz monitor is painful cause I can now see the lack of smoothness in my games
when i switched to 144hz, i went from 85k avg to 100k
and my aim is so much better in almost every game
Reaction time and flicking not major improvements enough for you?
Yes because you can train those two much faster in other scenarios
Is it me, or you speak french and have a very... american accent when you speak english?
I'm asking because every video I check from your channel has its title and description in french, but your videos are in english. I'm just curious lol.
Abt the video, Grid Shot is kind of a warm up where you can adjust yourself in every angle at the same time. It's a pretry general exercise. I do Grid Shot to augment blood flow and heat my hand up because I feel like my hand needs to reconnect to my brain and my brain to the game.
Checking the score is kind of a good evaluation for me because I'm still kind of a beginner in term of aim. I get around 42k, highest has been 48k, but it is true that I noticed a bad habit that I already had and is still present because I stress a lot when I play Apex Legends and the fact that I try to be fast in Grid Shot makes me want to go fast in Apex, but the difference is that in Apex, there is strafing. And I overshoot and undershoot more than before.
What DPI do you guys normally use? I have wondered what these guys pulling off these crazy videos use for DPI. They are so fast.
Gridshot has helped me alot js .. it's also fun
Great video, how can you move fast with a slow DPI?
Sensitivity is a bit higher. I am unsure. I suppose just practice.
By uh... increasing the sensitivity
I have a top 100 score in the reaction time test. But I'm ass at everything else.

Oddly enough my favorite scenario out of all of it is headshot ultimate and precision
Hey Dazs, what happened to Hagen? What did you do to her? Where is the body? Can I look at it?
Shout out to Water World music from SNES!
People keep saying it improves mouse control not aim but improving mouse control by default improves aim. If you can't move your mouse to where you want it to be at any given time then your aim will be off. I genuinely do not get this sentiment. Literally 90% of most games is just getting your mouse where it needs to go and/or crosshair placement. Mouse control equals aim in most cases ignoring specific game's recoil patterns and similar. But if you have bad mouse control and can't move the mouse to where you want it to go the rest doesn't even matter
Nice vid man! 🔥 I swear by aim lab, although I’ve never hit over 90+ lol
You will get there!
@@Dazs Thanks man
I just use gridshot for warmup, those tracking task like arctrack strartrack were hard and I still have to go.. btw my avg gridshot score was 92k approx
Nice Vid, but then what should we use for Apex Legends? and how long per day would you recommend? also my eyes cant keep up with grid lock, I find myself not actually being able to see the targets, just a blurry image coz I don't blink
You need to blink, also you may be playing with low fps
Use every tracking scenario for apex legends lol
I'm not even kidding a good chair helps. So I'm a new pc player and when I started gridshot I was getting 30k and after a few days I found a good sensitivity and placement for my mouse. But I was sitting on this wooding dining chair with no arm rest that was soooo uncomfortable(at this time I was averaging around 45k). Today I bought my gaming chair not a premium one but one that's decent and the arm rest helped my aim so much like it was so much more comfortable. I got a new highscore 0f 67k and averaging 55k now. Aim lab is so good if you want to improve your aim. I spend my time on alot of the different training tasks which has improved my overall control.
we learned that gridshot is really fun
its kinda relaxing
hoyl shit that first scene in gridshot. Bro chillllll.
What’s the best for tracking
I'll mess up when I think about the timer and kicks me out of my free flow . Movement and I get jerky
of course i want better aim but like, i find this scenario more fun than other ones and id rather be having a good time and improving than having a bad time but improving more tbh, for now
Wait what were your tips to click faster? I don’t have any problem with aiming precision. I just can’t click fast. Many times I misclick because maybe the switch is a bit tough to register or I just have weak fingers...
This videos music sounds like a 1980's movie, when the main character's wife dies. lol
Gridshot is a good warmup. Linetrace is better imo. But it is very good to boost confidence as well as. But it’s best use at least to me is this weird way of how unlike other scenarios I just become some gaming crackhead and play much more intense and focused and I then apply that to the other games. I don’t know why that happens but I guess it’s good
Number 8: i learned how to procrastinate
Accurate
Microshot and Headshot Precision helps so much
I agree 100%
I started at 30k and I peak 95k average 87k. Just playing for 95 accuracy on tempo with a metronome. If I end up going above 95 I turn up the tempo by the difference. Same thing if I get below 95, I'll reduce the tempo.
this is why i love MMORPG games having an aimlock and not worrying to play againt this kinds of people
I run this on pc but I use a controller. Any tips on that? I tried keyboard and mouse. Its a no go for me. Mainly play pc because of fps is way much higher than console
Not gonna lie, I probably hold my mouse with 3 fingers once I am trying to go as fast as possible
My personal take away from doing gridshot is not a lot. I should tackle more precision and smaller balls in tracking
One question you didnt answer is does sit improve your gameplay? Do you feel better at fps
What? Sitting down? If your arm position and distance between ur eyes and screen is the same between sitting and standing up it should be the same
If u meant to type "it" then no, because other scenarios are better. Gridshot should only be a warm up, which is why he put "wasted" in the title because he was using it as an experiment
