Further, she says that the souls are "praying fervently, but to no avail, for themselves; only we can come to their aid" (Diary, 20)

My friends and family now know something huge had happened to me. This was 30 years ago and although the walk has been very difficult, I would never want to go back. I’d be dead had this event not happened.

I will say as an Eastern Catholic our experiences are a bit different... Baptism is full immersion, And generally it can be a little noisy... And we do confession in the front of the church in front of the icon of Jesus. But I get what you are saying, that's where I encounter God, in the still small voice. Unless I'm not listening and then sometimes it's like He walks in with a megaphone, but that turned into an emergency situation... Praise God I did do what He told me too, my place could have both had a fire and flood that day 😬 it was wild!
