    5 months ago I started playing guitar and thought I'd never be able to play this song. Last week I took another crack at it and I can play most of it, although slower but I'm getting better. I just need to get my fingers used to barring the 3rd fret of the E and B strings. Right now I'm using my index and middle fingers and I think it's slowing me down.

    • @rpguitarvideos
      @rpguitarvideos  8 років тому

      +Adam Chalmers Thats good just keep playing it at a really slow tempo and working it up to speed. What chord are you trying to barre on the 3rd fret of the E and B strings??

    Regardless of previous comments as my opinion stands I think the video is great. I was able to pick up on what you were saying and learn it relatively quick. All I need now is to no how many times to play one part before transitioning I.to the next

    • @nishthalama
      @nishthalama 9 років тому +2

      If you want to know how many times to play just listen to the unplugged version. You will get it as for others who say this video sucks well brothers you can't be spoon fed here. You are supposed to be at least " there " in your guitarist skills to be wanting to play Alice in Chains. If this is too fast for you go learn John Denver songs

    • @ANONYMOUS-zo2kc
      @ANONYMOUS-zo2kc 9 років тому

      It's mot by any means too fast....lol I play very technical metal I was just saying timing I learned each riff then had to apply when they're played. Simple
