@@sickfoo5506 I agree as well to purchase any other trans fluid. Nissan charges that extra dealership fee just so you buy from them but is the same as any other off the shelf kind.
You can do a little engine mods here and there to gain some power. If power isn't an issue, then work on getting it to handle better when hitting them corners
Replaced my stepper motor in my 2014 nissian maxima because I had the p1778 code then the 02 sensor. I replaced the fluid a couple months ago then again this go around but I found more sludge on the bottom of the pan even still. Makes me scared to drive like that haha but I may be tripping
Yesss i felt 😂I have a 2013 and it wines and gets me annoyed I had an issue before with the power steering and when it was low on fluid it would make the wine louder
It’s a big car and takes premium gas only. And gas mileage is ehh. But if your okay with that then yea it’s a good first car if you find for the right price and transmission is ok. On these cars the transmission can go out at any moment that’s one thing to keep in mind too
@@cedricmiller4370 well to me yes!! Because in regular drive the car stays at peak HP and in sport it sounds cool but power goes up and down. When launching from a roll though sport is faster to start then switch to drive to keep power and not shift lol
@@HorsepowerLabs ohhh ok your smart it makes sense now being it stays at max torque and power its smarter to stay in drive to push out every bit of power... And never thought about starting in sports mode during roll then putting back into drive at higher speed to maintain redline instead of switching gears
Just recently totaled my 2009 Max. Felt like I lost my kid that day. Enjoy it, my man.
Dam bro sorry to hear that.
You're supposed to get your CVT fluid changed every 60k-90k miles! I felt the difference at 83k when I did it. Absolutely necessary!!!
Bro you are smoker in the head ? Changing the fluid for the maxima trans is easier than doing the oil change ... Just did mine again at 100k miles
@@conejoloco7502 did you use oem fluid
@@sickfoo5506 yes ofcourse you gotta spend the cash and buy from the Nissan dealership the fluid

VQ iamgiant I am I’m going to do some power mods and better the suspension. If you haven’t sub’d do it you don’t wanna miss it 🙂
Idk if you know or not but the maxima has a two step pedal at full throttle push it to the floor you’ll hear it click wide open throttle
I’ve heard it click but idk how much effect it does
177k miles and it had no transmission issues daaang thats great
Fameisthadevil Fameisthadevil yeah and it hasn’t had an easy life
Horsepower Labs haha bro i want one
Fameisthadevil Fameisthadevil they are fun and look really good lowered since they a wide.
Have you changed the transmission fluid/ if so how often?
Dude my maxi has 190k with no trans problems, lol.

I hear that whine man CVT getting hot the car will start cutting power
WickedVQ I noticed it did that. Getting that fixed soon ima do an update on the car.
@@HorsepowerLabs man its the only down fall to the A35 platform. Im on my 2nd one. Your car sounds dope other wise bro
WickedVQ thank you . Check out my recent video where I changed the resonator to vibrant one. Sounds mean
I would do a CVT flush; somehow mine went away, not sure if it’s coincidence or truly effective.
Car sounds great. Keep it up!
Rommel Miranda thank you, yes I’m going to do a flush and check the oil. I think it’s because the oil is low.
Can’t wait to see the outcome!!
I like your video even though I haven’t seen the others
Take care of the transmission mines went out on my 2014 cost alot to fix whats the exhaust i need that asap?
Yeah transmission is fragile. And the exhaust is vibrant resonator with muffler delete. I have a link to the exact resonator in the description
How many miles did you have on the transmission before it went out??

i got a 09 i haven't added nun to it yet but i do want a muffler delete, i want baby megatron to sound loud 😎
Baby megatron 😂.. check out my exhaust video it’s muffler delete and vibrant resonator
Did u change your transmission fluid
The whining is my only issue with this car order then that I love my baby
Stuart Bernard I was low on trans fluid that’s why the whine is so loud. But it’s fixed now. Check your fluid and for any leaks
Yesss i felt 😂I have a 2013 and it wines and gets me annoyed I had an issue before with the power steering and when it was low on fluid it would make the wine louder
Wtf bro I hoped you fixed that axle sound !!!
How you think 3 of these will sound on our cars? Like one in the center and 2 at the back
Resonators? Should sound deeper less drone
@@HorsepowerLabs yea 3 resonators
Cvt whine 🎉
What kind of exhaust do you have ?
Dj Johnson in this video just a muffler delete. Check out my other videos since I made modifications to the exhaust

maxima Vq right
How often do you replace your transmission fluid
richard rodriguez I haven’t replaced it lol. The most has been adding more because it used to leak through the axle.

does it whine at lower speeds?
Only when accelerating
