That was awesome. Can't believe you had time and energy to edit it so beautifully. Definitely NOT boring. Keep it up mate. Tracking you on Strava and the Vlogs on this epic journey. Best.
Ferg - that was awesome! You should take a group next year. I reckon heaps of your followers would join you. I have driven from Sydney to Perth twice and I absolutely agree with you, the country side is breath taking. The silence is eerie. The horizon out on the flats are amazing. Have a safe trip mate. You should get yourself a Fly6 and Fly12.
Hi Maven! Just thought I would reminisce and watch one of your old videos! HNY to you, Hannah and the fam, what ever you are up to these days I hope it’s going well #crackinghuman
Mark you ways deliver never a dull vlog. Safe travels those wide open rides look epic, can't wait to do some touring myself. Following your journey on the Tube and Strava get it done!
On ya mate. I think the biggest thing about these long rides is the mind has time to think. Sometimes it's about weird stuff while other times is just blank and you're absorbing in your surroundings. Morale looks high so keep it up! Also let us know how those foakleys are holding up.
I am also keen to hear his review on the Foakleys. I did notice when he was videoing his face the far left and right of the glass lens were very translucent and the blue tint was very weak.
Your vids are epic. I just can't stop imagining you run up, put the camera down press record run back to your bike, ride past, get the camera the ride off... So much work! Thanks!
I went on a ride last summer. 600 miles one way. You know what I took? A single backpack and a saddle bag. By day 2 my back was in so much pain that I didn't feel it. I would never go back in time and take bike bags
Glad you made it to your stop, I don't think I would ride at night out there. To many things that will eat you, Spiders snakes and rabid kangaroo's, Lol.
nice adventure, but 25 kg's of equipment, golly ! My full cyclo camping gear for a month weighs less than half that, including cooking equipment, tent sleeping bag, mattress, reading books, maps etc. Mind you in 4 panniers it's much less aero. Anyway rock on dude, love the stuff you post up. Ta.
Hey Maven I absolutely love your channel! Being following for a while now and I have 2 questions for you... What kind of iphone holder do you have on your bike stem? I'ld like a video on cornering during crits and gear selection going out of turns/corners. Thanks alot from Puerto Rico in the Caribbean!!!
the glasses look very nice. I tried to find them online but when i google "foakleys" i dont find a shop where i can buy them. These and a pair of m Frames for 20-30 bucks would be awesome. Btw awesome vlogs and content. Keep the good work going.
What tyres are you running Mark? Surprised you don't have a CX for this sort of stuff, running 32 mil marathons or something...? Awesome vid too mate 👍🏼
Hey Mark. I remember reading the comments in one of your vids where you said the website where you learned to edit the videos. Which kind of program are you using and what was that website? Thanks mate.
Hi Mark, just wondering if you can help me out, I’m looking for the company you did a review on jaw breaker replacement UV lenses. Can you send me the contact details of repost the utube video Thanks Glen

Fuck yeah cycling, that's what it's about
Youre absolutely mad wearing a backpack for that whole trip
Mavern, you're a bit of a fruit loop cycling to Adelaide in 2 days with all the gear. But def paid off in the end with such awesome footage.

Almost surreal makes me want to cycle 800 k OK maybe 200k OK down the street to the cafe.
