    Depression pals is great, having sark or nanners in alone and talking about what happened at Machinima and how it made you guys change as people, god potential city really

    Awesome concept for a podcast Hutch, thanks for doing this. Just hearing people talk openly about their experiences with depression can be SO helpful. The first time this happened with me was actually watching a video you did after you quit machinima and took that break, it was the first time I heard someone talk about the things I was experiencing and it made me feel less confused & alone

    10 minutes in. This is really cool Hutch. I'm one of those who's been seeing your content for going on a decade now and to see you using your platform for this is really awesome. Love the name, concept, everything dude. Thanks :)
    As for other creators I think Nanners would be awesome and probably a very popular pick for fans of both of yall.

    Fantastic. Would prefer it if they cameras were more of the screen & if possible maybe the white wasn’t quite so bright! It was great though Hutch. Been here close to a decade now!

    You're awesome for doing this Hutch. Hugely important to normalize the topic, you continue to be my favorite youtuber and what an "influencer" should be. Mad respect!

    Really enjoyed this hutch. Lot of nuggets of wisdom in it. Loving all the parts about reflection where you mention conclusions you came to that facilitated your growth. Beautiful stuff. The journey of life really is incredible. I grew up in the system and am just now starting to rewire my brain. Loved this

I used to really look forward to and loved watching your ‘so you’re...’ series, and really appreciate how you can always articulate your views and experiences so relatably. Professor Broman is great too. Looking forward to seeing how this goes and thank you for helping me to feel less alone, back then and now :)

    I don't even know if I suffer from depression. All I know is some days everything is worse, nothing is enjoyable and I feel like I can't doing anything to stop it. Sometimes it can hit me like a bullet, suck the colour out of the room. I don't know what causes it but I know the feeling is "I can't do this right now". Talking to people makes it worse for me because it feels so god damn hard, I cant help but feel absolutely exhausted and wished the conversation never happened. I can't help but compare the experience to other experiences, better days when things were good. I do suffer from OCD intrusive thoughts which I still struggle to manage. I feel like sometimes my mind can become so twisted and cyclical, it stresses me out to the point where my heart beats out of my chest.

      If you are capable, talk to a therapist. Someone close to me has some of the exact same problems as you. She is talking to a therapist for a couple months now and it does help her a bit, plus now she is also seeing a psychiatrist which definitely is a great step as wel. Even if those things don't fix it all for you, they might be able to help you taking the first couple steps. It will definitely get better! It just sucks that it takes so much time. :)

    My ears perked up when he said Crohn's disease. As someone who also has this i can definitely understand the stresses and anxieties associated with this disease including when you are healthy. Its really shitty, pun intended. Great podcast, looking forward to more.

    I like your idea of having a podcast on this issue that effects a lot of young and middle aged men.
    But I wouldn't be surprised either if this was one of your least viewed videos. Due to your usual audience being interested in COD gameplay rather than heavy hitting stuff like depressions and suicide. It may take time for an audience to come to this newer more shall we say adult content.
    Good luck sir, nothing ventured nothing gained. 👍

      it's a bit heavy to have a podcast based on depression also. a 2 hour video dedicated to depression and mental health is a lot and intense. might be better off doing it for like an hour. therapy is like an hour a week, right?

    • @serengeti4027
      @serengeti4027 3 роки тому

      I loved the podcast but I agree. I think a different name could help. maybe something more positive or neutral. I would imagine that even a lot of depressed people wont click on a video called 'depression pals'. could be wrong though

    • @serengeti4027
      @serengeti4027 3 роки тому

      the name sort of has the connotation of 'hey lets sit around and be depressed and mope together'. it shouldn't and that isn't what it is.... but yeah idk if it's the most marketable name lol. maybe somewhat depends on what the goal of the podcast is for Hutch
