You are amazing!!!! I’m a Texan and have a southern accent. I really enjoy listening to you! I love your set up so we can see the picture while you are talking and painting! I’m a fan!!!!
What a wonderful tutorial! Stephen, I love your humility. It takes humility and courage to present a lesson on something you have not done before! I enjoy learning along with you!! And, PLEASE, NO SUBTITLES!!! Your are not difficult to understand. Your accent is wonderful. Do not ever apologize to those who say they have difficulty understanding you. Now...on to see what I can do with this challenge!💚💚💚💚💚💚💚
I’m an Aussie and love your accent. Even here, if I hear an Irish person speaking, I will stop to listen to them. It’s most attractive and I have no problem understanding. The water in your painting is stunning!
This was my first time viewing you. You did a beautiful job. I have only had six oil painting lessons. And wanting to get back painting after years of not touching my oils. Thank you. You are helping me get back into it.
Who ever wants subtitles must not be fluent in English I understand you perfectly maybe because I did missionary work in Dublin lol 😂 god bless you and yours
Another great one Stephen. I may even try this one myself! As for captions... I am a bit divided... I at times like them, but I do feel they detract from what your watching as you tend to keep your eye on them rather than what the artist is doing, if you get my meaning. I personally have no problem understanding what you’re saying. You speak quite clearly and enunciate your words very well.
I love watching you and the different subjects you choose. The variety is great. You explain everything in real time which is how I learn best. I commend you for providing these awesome tutorial at no charge to us...Thank you! Also I don’t feel subtitles are necessary. Have a blessed day!
A beautiful painting Stephen, great to see you come out of your comfort zone and try something different. We didn't get to see you hang it on your wall. Would love to see it. 🥰
Something that looks so simple 🙂but to me is beautiful , and the painting well as always beautiful work that you alt make it your own 🙂thanks for this tutorial and god bless you always have a good weekend 🙂
absolutely love your tutorials, you're one of the best at explaining what you're doing, so helpful. It's also helpful that you do it in real time, Thanks os much :). Others tend to just paint with a speeded up camera which is lovely to love at but not so helpful. Really like your choice of pictures too. PS I really like your accent, don't change who you are!!
Loved this painting watching your tutorials are amazing. Don’t know whether I will be able to do this but may have a go,. God bless you and your family. Look forward to the next one.
FYI: I have bad hearing & a hard time understanding accents, even English (which is the only language I've ever known) & Irish,Scottish, NYC,etc. I always have caption on while watching t.v., & often rely on lip reading when speaking w/my friends/family (they have no accent) however, I have absolutely no trouble understanding everything you say, perfectly. That is how good & clear your English speaking is, that even I, understand everything you say w/o caption or lip reading!
By the way since I’m Persian my self let me tell u something mate there’s a color called Persian blue not Prussian ha . Don’t confuse the two if u had that it would have been amazing for this painting . Which is impossible for u to find it in Ireland I’d say , but if ur into making ur own paints every now and then like I am u can find the pigment or the powder online 2.imimg.com/data2/TO/CO/MY-983171/persian-blue-500x500.jpg
Really Stephan!!! ....subtitles!!!........absolutely not necessary......!. Some folk ........??? ...I have personal experience of this. Being a west coast Scottish woman, I was constantly asked , when I lived and worked in London, “ what are you saying”....... I came to the conclusion that people were just being rude........we don’t need subtitles when French , Mexican Spanish etc speak English, or even Liverpool or Newcastle accents, so why would we need subtitles for your beautiful Cork “twang”...he he he. - no insult intended.. take care and keep safe 🏴😷🙏🏻
seems automated CC works fine. just checked for few minutes... usually i understand everything, got the cork training from David willis videos lol :) and English ain't my native language ...
Since I can't use oils, I wonder if I could do this with acrylics?? Hmm...I don't expect an answer, this video is a few years old and I just found you.....
@@EasyOilPaintingWow....thank you for answering. I will try, it's so lovely and the oils bother my asthma.....looking forward to trying this weekend. Thanks ever so much. God bless you
PS have you thought of using ultramarine blue to mix for those darker turquoise inner ripples perhaps? That might make the shade you're looking for? Love the painting though, I think I'm going to have a go, thanks for being so inspiring!!
@@hinakhabalooch there's a little "cc" in a box on the right (an icon) that you can click for closed caption/subtitles...(first icon on the right side of the video)
Do Not Think Subtitles are necessary. I have no trouble following the Tutorials. Lots of Russian Artists with no Subtitles. Art is an Universal Language!!
Hi Stephen great job on a difficult subject as for subtitles I'm not a fan as I cant keep up with them and I just end up reading and not watching. Until next time take care and stay safe my friend
No subtitles please , there not needed. Love your accent anyway. That painting looked easy, but wasn't. I think it was difficult to get those droplets just right. Great job as usual. From America. 🤗
Please no subtitles. If you touch the 3 little dots on the top right of the screen there is an option built in for auto generated subtitles if you want them.
Stephen Conway Oil Painting no bro I mean there’s no need for sub. It’s all good if u put manual sub first it’s hard work for u second it’ll ruin the video . Maybe I must have explain better . Sorry .English isn’t my first Lang and I understand you completely
You don’t need subtitles! Perfectly clear and i love your accent.
