Kato Product Preview - July-August 2020 - N Gunderson MAXI-IV well cars, HO GE P42 "Genesis"

Newly arrived at the end of July, Kato has now shipped a new run of N Scale Gunderson MAXI-IV well cars in TTX "new Logo" and BNSF "old logo" and "swoosh" variations, along with a brand new run of HO GE P42 "Genesis" engines (DC only versions)
You can see these new releases in motion, along with a preview of the upcoming DCC+Sound version of the HO GE P42 - with pre-installed ESU LokSound DCC!
Coming in August - Kato is re-running the popular N scale F7A+F7B engines in the classic Santa Fe "Warbonnet" paint, as well as doing a totally new run of Santa Fe F7A+B engines in a freight style "Yellow Bonnet" paint (the previous release was a passenger variation). Accompanying these new engine releases will be the final variation release of the new MAXI-IV well cars, in Pacer Stacktrain colors!
For new announcements, Kato USA is happy to announce a new release of the N Scale Bethgon Coalporter in a wide variety of paint schemes - coming next February!

Hi Kato, why weren't Genesis P42 designed with their traditional reliable and robust mechanics from other locomotives? These coreless motors are very problematic and there's no possibility to replace the brushes. I have several here with intermittent operation.
