U know how to mix layered vocals like a center left right lead vocals for a verse? To make it sound clean. I cant find one single video out there cuz every body do that one vocal take shit bro but my voice needs that double sound. Maybe do a video with a lead and another lead double for a verse on it. @jakintoh alright coo. Cuz I got a deep voice but when I get smoov wit it for the Bay sound. I like to add dubz to it so my voice stands out. I want to learn how to add fx with metal anger and auto pan and telephone with extra reverb and shit bro for adlibs. Lmk ill set a notification rn for upcoming videos

I dont know do u read this or not but, how u prepare beat for mixing? I mean some mid down with eq, transient shaper, etc? Bcuz if u just mixing vocals on two track beat then its not "sit" in the beat, its always under or above the beat. Plus, with mp3 beat the low end always stole loud on mastering, bcuz glue compressor cant detect what to do and compressing just a bass, so if u just cut this off, then u loose ur low end on the beat lol. How u fighting with that?
If I can’t find the pocket to a beat with just adjusting the volume of the vocals I’ll typically carve out some room with an eq over the beat. Proq3 actually has a nice feature where you can visualize overlapping frequencies in the analyzer tab (I can go over this in a future video). But it’s vise versa, if I feel like a beat is lacking in bass or highs I’ll take an eq and shape it. All in all, I try not to overthink or overprocess the beat and I typically won’t mess with transient shapers on two tracks because this can suck too much life out. I always try to start with an eq and if it isn’t carving enough and I feel like I need to make more space I’ll put on a multiband compressor (c4 or c6) and slightly adjust that.
some people sidechain their eq on the beat so when the vocals are playing the eq dips. I haven’t played around too much with that but that might be a good method as well. I’ll try to cover this in an upcoming video too.
