    In the last 6 months of 2002 I was in St Mary's Hospital, attached to Mayo, battle major pain. I had just went into remission from stage IV liver cancer (Large B Cell lymphoma with 2 tumors, one on each lobe of my liver) after 6 rounds of CHOP Chemo. I started having major pain and began losing the use of my legs. I was admitted into Mayo through the emergency room from pain. I was already on morphine and it wasn't working. Eventually I totally lost the use of my legs, 100% bedridden and in so much pain morphine was no longer working. In fact, I stopped breathing several times having so much morphine. Considering the amount of morphine and that my heart rate was dropping into the 20's, I was put on 48 hour ketamine drips. For 5 1/2 months Mayo had no idea what was happening. Long story short they found that the lymphoma had drifted into my sciatic nerve, a cancer called Neurolymphomatosis. At the time there were 33 known cases, 32 they found postmortem and the 33rd person died. Therefore, 0 survivors, but I ended up having a stem cell transplant. They took 5 million stem cells out of my blood, bombarded me with chemo and then reintroduced the stem cells into my body. For months I was unable to walk, 100% bed bound and within a few days after the transplant I was relearning to walk. The Dr's called it a miracle. Soon after I was back on the mats relearning how to move on the ground and eventually all the martial arts. This January I am 15 years in remission and teaching and training daily.

    I've had stem cell therapy in May, and i am very very sick. And it has improved the quality of my life 10 fold. I had 4 brain surgeries to treat the worlds most painful disease"Trigeminal Cepalalgia Neuralgia aka Suicide Headaches. As a result of 4 brain surgeries. I was left with a plethora of health issues. Messed me up badly. And was getting worse everyday. I was suicidal. Literally a day away and a friend saved me and sent me to NYC from Canada. Mine was bone marrow. Overnight my aphasia halted 90% overnight, Sciatica pain 50% gone over night, labido increase 100%, Mental health 100%, and everyday I am getting better with other things. I am a different person. hours from dying by suicide,and now I am more alive than I have ever been. You can't punch the smile off my face. I suffered relentlessly for 15 years.

Sucks that a young autistic child is going to be a victim, that is, if OP's not trolling, which I'm still hoping for. Don't believe quacks like this over peer reviewed science, if you want good health care.

    • @nickiller12
      @nickiller12 6 років тому +3

      kao saechao nice strawman. I'm discouraging this person from randomly letting his child get injected with stem cells for a fuckton of money, in a random scammy clinic in Panama by this quack charlatan, downright criminal asshole. It won't help, he's definitely lying about the clinical trials, if it was true it would be world news. Same goes for restoring someone's spine. Truly amazing that you people believe anything you see on this podcast.

    Big Pharma is the force behind fighting this: a patient cured is a customer lost. They finance medical schools, doctors, own the media via advertising dollars, give to politicians campaigns, and lobby the FDA with former FDA employees they hire. Corruption and power that is massive.

    I’m 51, diagnosed with MS and have bulging & degenerating discs in cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine as well as shoulder and knee problems from a head on collision in 1996. The only pain relief I’ve had aside from loads of narcotic drugs was a selective nerve root block which lasted about 18 months during which I took no pain meds. I’ve turned down having a morphine pump installed into my body, as well as an internal spinal stimulator. I think it was the best move as my pain management doc (Dr Steven Lester) died tragically in a plane crash along with his family. He was very cutting edge & progressive and his practice eventually folded in his absence, referring us all elsewhere and nobody will maintain these things from what I’m told. Sadly the SNRB wore off and I’ve had many “procedures” at pain management (TESI, CESI, LESI, and a few others that I can’t recall at the moment) The opioid crisis has made it terribly difficult to get the narcotics. I’ve become unable to work, on the fast track to homelessness, and am all but scared to drive with the inability to turn my neck as well as the anxiety that comes with these conditions. I’d volunteer for any shot at relief. If I had the funds I’d be booking my trip to Panama! Thank you for such an interesting and informative show!

    And it's fucking ILLEGAL??! Why? Because big pharma wants to control it and the profits from it. And if they can't, screw kids with autism, MS, and everyone else but them.. Our greed as a species has FAR out surpassed our humanity, indeed.
    But a big thanks to Joe, Mel and Niel for bringing awareness to this. We all need to forward this to the press, as well as our representatives in government. Enough is enough....

      It's illegal because big pharma is responsible for generating a good majority of the US economy as well as around the world but think about if they made stem cell treatments legal... you would then have millions of patients coming off life long medications because they're finally healed. It's not about controlling the stem cell treatments, it's about keeping people sick and capitalizing on that situation by charging them absurd amounts of money so they can feel somewhat normal again.
      Where do you think politicians get their funding from? Oil companies, big pharma, and other corrupt industries who are paying them in order to use them as a puppet to push their own agendas and keep the money train running.

      Big pharma doesn't. The government, however, very much does, because it is facing the looming financial crisis of how to afford the huge medical expenses of an aging population in 20 years. It will get blamed if it can't afford it - which it...can't.

      valar Sad thing is that many people are fucking themself on alcohol and drugs, and the taxpayers have to pay for them. If people just try to live a little healthy, we could have a nice economy and still pay for the poor souls that really need it.

    • @squamish4244
      @squamish4244 6 років тому +2

      People trying to live a little healthy would help a lot. But a lot of people who live healthy lives get taken down in old age by degenerative illnesses anyway, and there will be so many 80-90 year olds in 20 years that healthy living won't be enough. That's why I'm excited by this research.
      And also because I live a healthy life, but I have chronic back pain that is manageable now but as I get older, who knows. My knees might also need new cartilage in 10 years or so and stem cells could do for them.

      Neil Riordan appears to be a crank. He makes many unsubstantiated claims and there have been some medical disasters at his clinic, including a guy who had to have his penis amputated. But Rogan has a weakness for crazy guests. Mostly it's harmless Ancient Aliens stuff or whatever, but this is high-stakes medicine.
      Stem cells obviously have tremendous potential. But it is because they are so powerful that people must be careful. There are lots of legit scientists studying them out there, and hundreds of good studies ongoing, but none of them involve this guy.

      Citron. I am usually on the wait 10 years on the market wagon, but thats with pharmaceuticals and most technology. However, the Dr did talk about how natural this is...and the risk is low bc stem cells share naturally in unborn children and their moms. I will always carry my children's stem cells until I die. Do more research on the safety of stem cells, then you can say it's risky. There's a reason why scientist are pushing for it in the US, but we have big pharma lobbyists fighting what others countries already know.
      It's all about money and power over the people.

    Elephant in the room: it's not legal here because pharmaceutical companies can't patent a stem cell. Employees from the FDA move to Pharma, and Pharma employees move to FDA. The fox is guarding the henhouse.

    • @epigeneticnerd4244
      @epigeneticnerd4244 6 років тому +17

      Yes, yet drugs with ridiculously poor efficacy manage to get financed and passed through FDA approval. Even with deadly side effects. Drugs like Vioxx killed 60,000 people, roughly the same amount of soldiers who died in the Vietnam War. Any competent researcher knows stem cells are safer than the majority of drugs on the market.

      They can NEVER genetically modify individual's own DNA to then declair "ownership" (GMO FOODS). Marijuana is capable of being genetically modified so now it is on the table for legalization (soon for GMO control).
      An individual's own cells can heal any of their own illnesses... they'll NEVER let that happen.

    • @epigeneticnerd4244

      Possibly but wouldn't be easy, that would be like them trying to patent the process of blood extraction, then ban all other methods that are completely safe to begin with. Besides, they would still lose money in the long run, because there goes pain medication, autoimmune medication, etc.

    At first I found this episode to be uncomfortable. The fact that Mel Gibson, a huge superstar and most famous guest ever on JRE, was on the show, yet spoke very little seemed odd to me. The episode was short, and the entire episode seemed oddly structured... they stayed on one topic the entire time and never strayed from it. As a result, I felt like there was tension between Rogan and Mel, perhaps Rogan was intimidated by having Mel on, etc.
    Now I realize this was simply a means of spreading information about stem cells and their medicinal qualities. Mel was there to help bring viewers and bring more attention to the subject; he brought his doctor to elaborate on the subject.
    This was never really supposed to be a Mel Gibson episode with a bunch of Mel Gibson chit chat... it was a stem cell episode, with Mel Gibson present to help bring attention to the subject.

Its not just one simple conclusion but a combination of many factors just like with everything in life and rogan for sure has a socially awkward side to him that came out here with his refusal to even look at Mel, I get the podcast is about stem cell shit but still at least try to include the guy in the fuckin convo Rogan u hyper active alpha with the social graces of a fuckin dying beached whale
