Amazing !
Who knows Jesse Owens and Luz Long (friendship) story🤝 0:28
The spirit of olympic games🙌
Ya we were taught about ths story in moral education period
30 years ago, Mike Powell set the world record. Will that record finally fall at Tokyo 202ONE?
Nope
No, but there are some really young athletes that have jumped more than 8.50 so I think there is possibility it will break during the next years at some point.
0:15 I love Jesse! I saw his biography
in 1909 they were jumping into a slightly raised pit of dirt.

1924 first African American, Dehart Hubbard from Ohio, to win an Olympic Gold Medal. Went on to hold the world record in this event and the 100 yard dash.
Music?
Hard to call it evolution since the 4 best jumpers happened in 1968, 1987 and 1991
1987 by Robert Emmiyan who had 8.86m ? His jump was uniquely impressive.
WC 1991 final gave the greatest competition of all time.
Four of Carl Lewis's jumps were at least 8.80m, including 8.91m wind-aided. But Mike Powell beat him in the last jump of 8.95m for a new WR.
We have never seen such great achievement since then.
It's camera quality revolution nothing else
CARL KING LEWIS
G O A T
Kya yaar . Kisne kitna meter long jump kiya o toh mentione karna chahiye tha n . .
Wow
Fine 👌👌🎈🎈🎈🎈👍👍👏👏👏👏👏🎈👏👍👌
Abe Mike Powell kithe?
I LOVE INDIA
With all the high tech available now, am sure it is not a big ask to measure jumps from where they takeoff rather than a fixed point at the edge of the board. Rarely will athletes plant a perfect takeoff on the edge of the board, more prevalent however is a few inches short or a few inches over the mark. It would certainly reduce stress levels for jumpers and also bring out the best in them, if this simple administrative problem could be more user friendly. My two cent piece...
that's a different sport
My number in high school was 5.5 m 😉😁
Shows more about the evolution of long jump athletes attire more than anything else. Where is the data how long who jumped?
Where's long jump on Múnich, Montreal and Moscow?
🙊
Why it doesnt show how long they jumped? 😑
Number one : mike Powel 8.95m :)
USA on the lead
Meanwhile LeMoney James ran away from his last olympics.
Where's James Harden, Jimmy Butler, Paul George, John Collins, Ja Morant, Trae Young, Zion Williamson, and Stephen Curry?
These players only care for personal stats in their stat-padding league.
They've disrespected the olympics. That's it.
There proabaly in america, and the olympics isnt even the highest competion in domestic sports
Why was the distance not shown?.. so lame.
RRRRUUUGGGGBBBYYYYY?????
