Just enjoying all the different techniques you are sharing. What is extra special is that you are so excited about teaching them. I have some thin wool yarn that I am now thinking I would like to experiment with using this core technique. Thank you so very much! ❤

It is absolutely my pleasure! I am always very excited about fiber! If you are going to try some core spinning, I just finished an amazing yarn from the Miami Sunrise batt that I will show you how to make next week. I already have the video finished. The yarn is to die for! So good that I am keeping it. However, I made 2 extra batts of each from today’s video and if you like the technique, and the yarn color you may be interested in trying it! I will put sneak peak on IG sometime this weekend. Spin Happy!

It is lovely but I have to finish spinning my hummingbird batt first. I got sidetracked by some teal dyed local coopworth so am only about 1/3 of the way through the batt. :)

Finn is so freaking adorable that my brain keeps thinking he isn't a real dog. He looks like an adorable stuffed animal for kids or an animated puppy in a kid's movie. He's the Valais Blacknose of dogs.

He is the best dog. He is so soft and floofy and he is very affectionate. He is training up great. The groomer tells us that this is still his puppy coat and his adult coat will be more curly, but we don’t want to have him shaved like a poodle. We are are going to try and keep the floof as long as we can. But it is a lot of work bathing, blow drying and brushing! Totally worth it! And he loves baths and the the blow drier! Thanks for watching!

I’m back from a trip to northern England and exploring local yarns and sheep breeds. You would have loved all the fiber people we got to meet. Anyway, I’m getting caught up on your videos, and loving what you are making. Art yarn is unexplored territory for me-I’m still working on the basic spinning. But someday….You make it look like so much fun. I’m also looking forward to your new world of fractal batts. Though I’m not sure how you could make your batts more beautiful…harpingJanet

England is on my list! It’s crazy, but have not been yet! Scotland, Ireland, and we are planning on returning to both, still so much to see, but I also want to see England! We are Catamaran sailing the Greek Islands in 3 years. My daughter’s BFF is a grad from Merchant Marine Academy and can pilot our rental( basically a sailboat Yacht that sleeps 10). We have decided that we don’t know how much time or health and fitness we will have by the time we retire, so we have made travel a priority! It is a fantastic decision. We are hiking Canadian Rockies ,Banff and Jasper in September! Sunday will be the first Fractal Batt installment! It is so much fun to do! I will get back to art yarn part 5 after this small detour!!! Sorry so long! Glad you had a great trip!! I love meeting fiber people!!

@@jkfiberarts A friend told me this motto: “we have go-go years, slo-go years, and no-go years. Go while you can!” Glad you are using your go-go years to see the world now, instead of waiting! Your upcoming trips sound fabulous.
