Touring Small Town Ontario: Schomberg

A drive through Schomberg Village in the Township of King, 63 kilometres north of downtown Toronto. The village is located at the intersection of highway 9 and highway 27, between Orangeville and Newmarket.
Originally settled as Brownsville in the early 1800's, the name change came in 1862. The population now is just shy of 3,000.
