Alliston, Ontario: Driving Around Town (February 22, 2018)

POV video driving around Alliston, Ontario. We enter from the west on Highway 89 and cruise through the downtown core. Following that, we continue to Industrial Parkway and travel around the outskirts of the three Honda Manufacturing plants. We end up back at the intersection of King Street and Young Street.
Alliston, Ontario was incorporated as a village in 1874 and as a town in 1891. Coincidentally, 1891 was the year the town's most famous resident, Frederick Banting, was born. Banting is responsible for the discovery of insulin.
Since 1991, Alliston has been part of the Town of New Tecumseth, along with nearby Beeton and Tottenham. Alliston has a population of nearly 20,000 and is one of the top ten fastest growing communities in Canada. This is largely due to the Honda Plants and the close proximity to the Greater Toronto Area, making it a bedroom community for commuters.
Alliston is located 43 kilometres southwest of Barrie, Ontario and 107 KM northwest of Toronto. It is found on highway 89, which can be reached from the nearby highway 400.

It's crazy how Alliston grew so much because of Honda, yet most Alliston people are still racist agaisnt Asians or any other minorities in general..
Many countries heavily rely on tourism because of massive income it brings, while Alliston will remain racist and small
