The Bow Weapon is from the dlc, the elemental shadow sling can be bought in the base game, and I can't tell if that's the lodge ropecaster or the heavy shadow ropecaster
I just got this game for my PC having never played it before & its instantly become one of my top 5 games of all time & I'm a 1990 baby, so, that says a lot about how amazing this game is. I got it just in time, too, because the "exclusive" of forbidden west is being released onto PC soon 😅
I personally like toying with them. Use the Tearblaster & remove its canons, disc launcher & tail. Basically a giant mobile training dummy at that point...

This looked completely insane to me until I actually did it. I mean, I didn't do it the same way as you and it took me a few minutes longer. I didn't think I could possibly take one of these down without dying about five times though. Fighting these is fucking awesome.
Wrong man you gotta get a Shadow Trip with mods that get your blast wires to at least 500 dmg per wire then you stack about 15 wire in the same place if you can then lure it to the wires by flinging icebombs daz all you gotta do why waste rope that don't do dmg
............... so i waisted an hour luring it into traps and having my curropted creatures distract with so many tripwires mines pain and suffering ........... i thank you but goddammit i should have comeacross this sooner
i know better: shoot his weapon that is behind him not tail weapon its behind him at top with most armor breaking arrow u have then wait 2 second equip this weapon shoot him feew times and u got it just 2 steps
I wonder on which dificulty people play. I play on extra hard. I am level 27 but still takes ages to kill like a sawtooth with my blue bow and fire arrows. Am I doing something wrong or are people just playing normal? Im fcking 12 levels highers they still hit me like im the lower level.
You are wasting a lot... The best way to do it is... Take echo shell and break the weapon it has on its back and also weaker its defense and then use normal arrows and explosive...
I just downloaded the game yestarday and the feeling is one of the best in game experiences I've ever had

For such an op weapon, that's a pretty reasonable cost
It's a good strategy, cause you spend a lot of ropes, but in return, you get very rare modifications
Get a better rope caster and farm enemies with rope

When I fight a thunderjaw. I always try to immobileze it. Then I would use strong melee attacks as usual.
Not going to lie the first one is better than the first one [in my opinion]

The disc launcher like 3 shots it and you get 2 of them. That's much easier but this is def the cooler way to kill it

It's a skill you can learn
War bow. Consists of Freeze, Electric and Corruption arrow. Also you can shoot 3 arrows at once when you learned skills

I did buy horizon forbidden west on ps4 i was lvl 90
I did upgrade to ps5 now lvl 52
for me i love to remove it both cannon and use it to destroy it with it..its more fun.

it increase your damage
slow the machine movement and increase your damage output to the machine
