Does anyone know if Glen is okay? It's been months since his last video and he is normally a lot more active on his channel. Glen, we hope you are well. Come back soon!
Hey Glen… just want to share… my first child, Maya, and I used to watch your videos up until the middle of the night (she was sleeping in my arms) and it got us through the pandemic and kept us learning… you did so much to bring great energy to your viewers. So thanks! Waiting to see you again and praying for good things for you and your family.
Beautiful table, and Great Video!!! . . . Your clear directions and breakdown of tasks make woodworking projects approachable and not so intimidating to less experienced DIY-ers like me. I also appreciate various workarounds that you share to cope with real-world challenges. I have used a couple of your videos/blueprints in the past, and friends and family members loved the results. Thanks again for sharing your experience with the UA-cam community. It's time to click "Super Thanks" button!
That turned out pretty nice. I've seen people use change in their floors. But this table is a nice addition. Good to see you're still going. Can't wait to see your next project.
Just found this UA-cam channel a couple months ago. Probably one of the best DIY channels on the net. The instructions are excellent. Unique projects. And the video and audio quality is top notch!!
Nice ! Making something "old" new again, is always fun. I made a mid century modern style coffee table years back. Like you I got bored with it. It just seemed too plain. So I redesigned the legs, added a slotted shelf underneath, and refinished the top. Now it's the center piece of the living room. And as always a great video...Keep up the good work!!!
GREAT project Glenn. I bet the first two rows of the pennies were fun then something like what the hell am I doing?? I do like the wave effect and spreading them out. You always do a good job with the LED's. Starbond should be a sponsor! !! !!!
This is absolutely a beautiful table. But did you know from a coin collector's point of view you could have the most valuable corn in this stash you should start checking your appendix before you glue them down to make sure you didn't win a fortune but you're working beautiful and I love following your page you have taught me a lot.
My Question is was it necessary to painstakingly glue all the pennies on top at the end, if you were going to pour epoxy over it anyways? I dont think they would have moved
Nice I made a table with pennies 25 yrs ago when my sons were teens I named it Pennies for your thoughts where we gathered for discussions Luv the design on this 👍
Love the look of the pennies being completely orderly and then dispersing into random chaos! If it would have been possible to bend them properly at a 90 degree angle then you could've made the pennies go around the corners, that would've been nice too!
You better not throw away any it goodies you know I'm here all the time for you so knowing that we just live miles apart if there's ever anything you want to get rid of let me know I'll be there to pick it up or meet you some place and pick it up golly you made that gorgeous little bit is going to have a good time trying to count pennies God bless peace be with you much love and respect
Very nice result! And if people are worried about it tilting with toddlers... just make the base wider. Sure toddlers should listen when they are told not to get on the table but kids are kids so just make the base wider and you'll be fine.
You have a lot patience my friend because I know gluing those pennies took a long time. I completed a small project that involved gluing individual items and it took me more than half of the time to complete the project. Good job.
Your videos wow me! Do you have any videos or know anyone that does, on epoxying over knick knacks that are gold plated? Will it ruin the paint or gold?. I have some mice knick knacks that belonged to my parents, and one was a gift to me from my dad, he bought for me after I told him my dream with a mouse when I was a child. The ear broke off. After I repaired it I wondered if it was possible to epoxying them into a cube or rectangle to preserve them. Thanks for your awesome videos!
I check your channel regularly and i am sad to see no content for over a year. I truly hope all is well with you and yours bro. Hope life is treating you good.
@@DIYCreators I don't think you give yourself enough credit, your creativity and relatability makes many of these project seem easy despite the level of difficulty that presents itself, plus much of the work that yo9uyr present to us looks amazing. Your work is amazing, I only wish I had the time to try many of the projects you post.
Beautiful work. I am doing a penny table on glass. I was wondering if I could use loctite super glue ultra liquid control in between pennies to adhere them to glass. I dont want to glue individually as my design is very specific and I need to transport in car for the epoxy to be placed on top. Is the super glue compatible with the epoxy resin or what kind of glue could you suggest. If glue gets on the glass will the resin adhere or bubble? I have been trying to research and cannot find the answer. Thanks for your expertise.
Hi, I'm from the UK , have been wondering if Glen is OK too, this side of the pond is missing him too, so hope he's ok, and just taking a well earned break. And if you are taking a much earned break then get your behind back to work peeps are missing you ❤️

Being a coin collector - - OMG. I must have one!!! Thank you sooo much!!!! Love how you teach!!
You are so welcome!
I’m thinking please let those be the “return to bank” stack haha
Attention to prep work and patience definitely helps this come out looking well!
What a brilliant idea to use a basting brush to spread the epoxy. Easy clean up and use again.
The patience you have to glue all those pennies down...hats off to you. Looks good.
Thank you! You def have to have patience :)

They probably would have moved, they’re lighter than epoxy.
We all hope you're doing good buddy! Miss you and your sweet ideas!!

Love this table and the way it turned out. a Great way to upcycle and repurpose furniture.
I thought the original design was great but man this took it up a notch!

Excellent craftsmanship as always.
Very nice...especially appreciate your suggestions at the end for weighting the base down
Fantastic idea!
Very nice , glad to see you used good cents to build the table .LOL .
Thanks 👍 lol

Thanks I agree!
You slayed this project! INSPIRED!🤩
Looks great. I would pack the coins tighter, alternating the rows to create that gradient effect. Basically treating each coin like a pixel
That would be nice too.
That is a labor of love!

Killin it Glen!
I was thinking to put them on the epoxy when it got sticky and would have glued itself but this was awesome 🤩
That was Amazing craftsmanship. 💪🏾
talk about a floating coffee table!! 😃
Could the tilting come from the weight of the pennies?
Is Glenn ok?
Awesome project! One point to note: Do watch your other hand on the opposite end of the nail gun while shooting the Brad nails in! See from 9:05
