I like the sound, but I'm a bit dissapointet about the footswitch, it only bypasses the IRT Pulse :( to switch the Hot Button would make much more sense.
Anyway, I hope there will be a new version in the future with banks of soundsettings and Midi contol to switch them, similar to the neunaber neuron but with real Tubes at this litle stompbox, that would be the perfekt Flyrig in combination with my boss MS3.

I bought one of these a week ago, on the third day after delivery I was playing through the pedal. All was awesome, pedal sounded great then out of nowhere the pedal stopped working and the only thing the pedal would do is flash its lights repeatedly. Anyone else experience this with this pedal. So the pedal got returned (RA) for servicing, I hope the pedal can be fixed when the pedal worked it was amazing. I think I had maybe 30 minutes total play time on the pedal before it stopped working.

novice guitarist here, asking novice question #1. The jazz sound I hear starting after 2:05 sounds like two guitars: acoustic and then processed (through Pulse device). Are there two guitars or is this thing actually creating both sounds. Please, I already know I should go listen to beginner videos - but, nonetheless... thanks

Martin, how does this unit sounds direct into a poweramp ( or eff return of the amp)?
I am thinking of putting it on my pedalboard as a preamp, but since it has no normal tone controls ( Bass, Mid, Treble) i am in doubt if it is good choice to use it in such a way...
Maybe anyone else here tried it is in such a configuration and can give me some feedback?
+André Orsel Personally I prefer it into the effects loop as it really is a preamp in a pedal format as opposed to "just" a pedal.
Martin Miller , thnx a lot for your quick response! So the eq options ( dark switch, bright, switch, mid scoop eq switch) are enough to shape it for using it live as a preamp?

bietet das Ding die Möglichkeit, mit Impulsantworten zu arbeiten? Ich möchte mit dem Line Out des IRT-Pulse (Emulation Off) in mein Interface gehen, um dann beim Recording Impulsantworten zu verwenden.
Genau das mach ich beim letzten Soundbeispiel.

Martin Miller Hi, ich hab da auch mal eine Frage ;) - Kann ich über USB ein DI Signal durch den Pulse schicken während er auf Bypass steht und wird das unverfälschte Signal dabei in ein HiZ Signal umgewandelt welches ich dann wiederum über den (Balanced) Output in einen anderen (Pre-)Amp schicken kann? Das ist die einzige Anwendungsart die ich nirgendwo explizit erwähnt finde, die für mich aber der entscheidende Kaufgrund wäre. - Im Manual steht auch nur das das DI Signal über USB dann intern nochmal durchgeschleift wird. Der einzige Anhaltspunkt für mich, das meine gewünschte Signalkette funktionieren könnte, ist ein kleines bildchen unter der Beschreibung auf Seite 16.

For the love of god guys, stop shredding when you demo new stuff! There is no way anyone can hear the breakup of the overdrive or the sustain or...anything really when you solo up and down the fretboard at 200 miles per hour!
sounds like you literally only watched the intro.. he goes on to demo a bunch of different tones/gain levels after that
