Interrupted When Playing Adele Easy On Me at Train Station Piano | Cole Lam 14 Years Old

- Piano Tutorial: • Adele 30 - Easy On Me ... . Haha - this is the strangest "request" I ever received whilst actually playing the piano. Where are the taxis! It's funny actually, and I think you can see that it kind of brought me back from where I go when I play piano. That's what is called a double take - really wasn't expecting that! The lady has just come from Paris out of the Eurostar exit next to Remoli pasta 3:04 and this is obviously a new place for her. Luckily I did not need to draw her a map and could just point with just one hand - I think I coped with it quite well! The signs were just above her head though.
Anyway, this is Adele's new song Easy On Me piano cover from her new album 30 which I created over the weekend and then went out to play at St Pancras just before the Arsenal game against Crystal Palace
My favourite moment is at 0:52 where I think the lady recognises the song and just smiled. I love how music can do that.

I thought initially it would be a female his age trying to make conversation but it was an absolutely rude woman, who does that 😂

Everyone now a days are so busy with their faces stuck to their phones that they can’t even appreciate great music anymore. It’s sad really! You played that song brilliantly young man! Cheers to you!

You don’t have to be looking at him playing to appreciate “great music” In fact I read the comments while listening to it, he does play it well, although a tuned piano would make it sound even beautifully :)
You NEVER spoke a TRUER word!!! It REALLY DRIVES ME MAD when I'm on the bus for example and babies are crying and the adults with them can't even be bothered to look at them in order to show them just a MINUTE amount of compassion!!!
remember this is a busy international train station, most people cant just wait around they have trains to catch.

Don't think it's anything to do with that, it's just the location. People are usually on a time schedule if they're catching a train.

I recognise that lady from an Elton John concert in 1982 at the Royal Albert Hall when she managed to sneak past security and get on stage in the middle of Elton's performance of Candle in the wind, and she went over to him and interrupted him to ask where the best local pizzeria was. Elton told her in no uncertain terms where to go (Pizza Hut on Twickenham high street)
This makes me sad that someone can actually stop and do that to you. We have lost our way in this world. Beautiful rendition. Thank you.

I'd like to say that I'm surprised at the number of people just ignoring the amazing playing and just rushing by or looking at their damn phones, but that's just how life is these days. Nobody seems to give a damn about music and musicians unless they happen to spot a "celebrity" to get a selfie, to post on their social media.
Keep up the good work Cole. You're a fine player now, not just because of your age, but in spite of it. If you can play that well now, you've got a lifetime of excellence ahead of you!

Music is a way to bring magical moments to a large group of people at the same time. The people that are in the moment (especially children) can really enjoy the joy that your music brings. The old lady is an example of people who are not in the moment and probably self absorbed.
He’s so passionate in his playing. Well done young man. You brought a smile to my face, joy in my heart, and my eyes filled with tears. So many of our young people would rather be doing things that doesn’t benefit their lives. Stay focused. God bless you ❤️
Sad to see so many people just rushing on by when a young lad is playing so beautifully. Everybody always in a rush. Sometimes we need to just stop and pause and take in whats happening around us.
That’s because he is recording it for the internet so he can get more attention and more people bury their heads in their phones to watch that video online. It’s crazy
People are rushing to get on their trains or get to where they have to go, that's how transport works.You don't have to stand still and watch to appreciate music. I'm sure the people going past and sitting nearby are thoroughly enjoying it

Of all the people that she could have asked, she chose to interupt someone performing like he was just sitting there doing nothing. Many might brush it off, but as a performer myself i find that a bit disrespectful. Keep up the great work and uploads, you are an awesome pianist with what i can see a very bright future. You are a fabulous pianist Cole and what a great arrangement, well done mate. Yes people who aren't musicians have no idea it's not easy to answer questions when you're completely in a zone like you were. I used to play professionally in pubs and bars when I was younger and I used to sing as well and drunks would come up and want a full scale conversation when I was trying to sing and play!!

Thanks Cole, I love this latest Adele Song. I think it is as good as any of her previous songs and I am pleased that you have made a full video of it. I think some of the members of the crow recognised it. I know it may have appeared quite amusing that the lady passenger asked you for directions to the taxis but her manners were very questionable. It is nothing less than rude to interrupt a maestro in the middle of creating an artistic performance. St Pancras Station has got hundreds of signs. All she had to do was look around. Well done for carrying on!!??
