I don't think that's right. Mental illnesses are real and while pills and other meds don't always work, they're better than no treatment. Conspiracy theories like the one you decided to add to this conversation aren't helping anyone. Conspiracy theories, in fact, are making everything worse and adding to the stigma that comes with mental illness. I know you probably think that you're helping and that you know some secrets, but you're really not.

My prayers go out to Audi. Who’s got the mental issues going on but what’s really disturbing is how her sister and mother were so quick to give that baby back knowing that his mother was trying to find help. I would say the fault would be theirs as well because they didn’t help her to find the help that she needed, and the thought of them releasing the baby back to her knowing she’s going through that puts them liable and responsible for these babies death. Knowing how unstable OTTY was they handed him back to her that’s definitely something they gotta live with and then as she finally calm down listen to it the sister says her as if nothing happened. I don’t know somethings fishy about that nonetheless rest in peace to the baby, and I hope that this experience will get many more mental patients to help that they need.

The sister had experienced her episodes before and saw them being non violent, in her mind her sister just needed to hand the baby off for a bit while she got a hold of herself, after handing the baby back to the mother the episode resumed and the voices told her the sister was dead there by convincing her that she couldn't give the baby back. It's unclear how aware the sister was of what these episodes consisted of, she likely underestimated the severity of the situation, believing that her sister(the mother) would never hurt the baby because in her mind she could never hurt anyone, the sister isn't to blame, sometimes it's just harder to see the full picture when you're that close to things.

There are only 4 houses back here and despite having a sign up saying our addresses are around the back routinely every delivery driver cannot find it and it takes 10 minutes and often walking out onto the main street to get them to find us. We had an emergency last year (it was much milder than we thought and my family member was fine thankfully) and luckily a neighbour heard the commotion and went out to signal the ambulance. But im terrified of one day something worse happening and no one being there to help them find us. I always tried to comfort myself thinking that emergency services would pay more attention to street signs than a delivery driver but hearing this series has reminded me how human these people are and mistakes are still possible to make especially in the dark when that sign isnt as visible

There are quite a few videos that say, "Captions not available.", when you hit the captions button, actually. Even if they are available they are usually far from correct as they use some automated system that goes off of audio. A lot of the time they aren't even readable. I can hear fine, fortunately, but use them because of audio processing abilities. They would be laughably bad if I didn't know they were so essential for so many people.

Jill Seufert unfortunately where I live people who are in psychosis or are facing other psychological problems often get off their prescribed meds after getting out of a hospital/ward. They also can go in voluntarily which means they can sign themselves out and can get someone who doesn’t even know anything about why they’re in there to sign them out. There’s no follow up if the “crazy” person doesn’t want it which is so wrong because when they’re in a certain headspace they may not know what’s best for them. We need stricter rules to help people in need.

Honestly, this probably wasn't a lie. The mother in this case was highly delusional and extremely depressed with a mix of a few other issues I'm sure. In the moment she thought her kids were suffering from her divorce so in the heat of the moment she was acting on what she assumed was the solution to all of their problems. After she acted that out her head probably cleared and she did want what was best for her kids.
This is why mental health shouldn't be taken as a joke. People with bi polar, depression, anxiety, psychotic and a lot of other issues can easily fall into a delusional state and do things they normally wouldn't do. The mother is to be blamed for what she did, however, the real culprits are the court and judge who deemed her okay to see her kids and the mental facility that deemed the same.

As someone who struggles with hallucinations and delusions as part of my mental health disorder this shit pisses me off so badly. Literally the first and last thing they teach you in any kind of mental health treatment is to reach out for help if you need it. How are people supposed to get help if it will fall on deaf ears? Of course the child is a victim and was severely wronged but in this situation the mother is just as much a victim. Not only does she have schizophrenia to deal with, but now she has to live with what she's done on top of a manslaughter charge when the situation could have been avoided so easily.

You know it would probably be a lot easier to work at like customer service or tech support I mean sure they probably come home in a bad mood because people called them and scream at them all day cuz nobody is going to call when everything's running smoothly but a 911 operator they have to live with that horrible shit that they here and then never going to know I'm sure most of them do look it up or they would probably go insane. People that work that kind of job for several years probably I need some heavy counseling after that. I mean bad 911 operator you could tell in her voice that she was upset by what she heard... I am glad they didn't charge the mother in the first phone call though because that was absolutely the fault of whatever doctor released her and refused to keep her at the psychiatric unit.

The cops requested to speak to a counselor or psychiatrist because out of the 20 something years, that they had served as police they never encountered what they had seen that day. I thought the same thing. She tried to killed her kids and succeeded in killing one of them, but her concern is over not getting shot and maybe saving her surviving daughter to reduce her sentence or something. Then she wants to cop a fucking attitude over being asked normal questions like ‘what’s your name’ and ‘how old are your kids?’ I’d have said something rude, at the very least, like ‘bitch, you stabbed your daughters and you think you can tell me how to do MY job? Maybe don’t fucking stab your kids if you don’t want to answer dispatch calls.’ I know I’d lose my job for that but seriously, it takes a special level of tolerance, patience, and self control to tolerate her.
