Its just turning poetry Steve. I absolutely love watching you work. No one but no one I've ever watched uses the economy of cuts you do ie the absolute minimum necessary and yet ends up with a job that just needs a tickle with 180 to finish it....bloody brilliant and loving the commentary as i said in your last...brings it to life more. Thanks for posting 🙂
Every wood turner watching this has a huge smile on his/her face in admiration! All done in a couple of minutes. Being a tight brummie I’m very jealous at how little sandpaper you must get through.

Я научился управлять плоским ножом, не помню как по вашему, кажется skew chisel, а ведь и у нас так точат, немногие, но точат, но те, кто точит тарелки и прочую лабуду, боятся осваивать плоский нож, и вот это по своему обидно и непонятно! These are great videos, thank you for posting. I try to make matching items and I get all the details right in height but usually end up with one that is narrow, probably because a blemish happens on that one and it has to be taken down farther, ever have that problem?
Always good to see your videos! I feel pretty comfortable with my 18 years of turning skills, but I still can't turn with a skew like you can. Just a matter of more practice I suppose. Great to see you posting more videos. Really enjoy them.
Hi Steve, I think you mentioned in a previous video that you leave the work slightly off being fully rounded with the SRG so that your final skew cut gives you maximum diameter when the work is down to round (?). Great video as always, 👌Cheers John

Not on spindle work, but occasionally on deep hollow forms
