About Burgas and its tourist attractions and sightseeing
Burgas (Bulgarian: Бургас), sometimes transliterated as Bourgas, is the second-largest city on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast in the region of Northern Thrace and the fourth-largest in Bulgaria after Sofia, Plovdiv, and Varna, with a population of 203,000 inhabitants, while 277,922 live in its urban area. It is the capital of Burgas Province and an important industrial, transport, cultural and tourist centre.
The city is surrounded by the Burgas Lakes and located at the westernmost point of the Black Sea, at the large Burgas Bay. The Port of Burgas is the largest port in Bulgaria, and Burgas Airport is the second most important in the country. Burgas is the centre of the Bulgarian fishing and fish processing industry.
Burgas is one of the most famous Bulgarian resorts. It traditionally attracts guests by spacious beaches and beautiful nature. The Central Beach is considered the biggest one in Burgas. Its width estimates 100 meters. The Sea Garden is located not far away from the beach zone, so tourists can easily combine relaxing rest under tender sun with walks and observation of local sights and places of interest.
Burgas is a popular tourist destination with developed tourism infrastructure and tourism industry in general. The tourism sector is of great importance to Burgas.

where are the recommend areas to live according to you.? Thank you
@elvirareyna5082 I'm not sure as I spent only 2 days in Burgas. I think the best place is the city centre for a short city break, but I can't say about living.

32:36 - The 3D Planetarium is now open since May 2023 and really cool. From there you can also hop to the St. Anastasia Island.
55:41 - The Orthodox church is also now renovated and looks very nice.
It is amazing how Burgas has significantly changed during the last years. They have a good mayor unlike Sofia.
Burgas looks amazing. It's sad to see that Varna is not improving a lot 😢
@@ExploreTheWorld 100% correct!! Burgas mayor steals less. Very bad and inept mayor thief in Varna. Plovdiv and Burgas are doing quite well, imo. Plovdiv is also developing quite well. Still room for improvement but the city has so much atmosphere and good vibes and also changed a lot. Amazing video! You gained a new sub.

Выяснилась причина отвратительного запаха от озера Вая в Бургасе
21 января 2024 г.
За последнюю неделю в учреждения поступили многочисленные сообщения о неприятных запахах, исходящих из озера Вая недалеко от Бургаса. Это спровоцировало проверку экоинспекторов муниципалитета Бургаса.
В ходе проверок местных источников загрязнения не выявлено. Однако было обнаружено наличие значительного количества отмерших водорослей на разных стадиях разложения. Причиной большого количества погибших водорослей является сухой и жаркий летний сезон со стабильно высокими температурами, во многих случаях превышающими средние нормы, говорят эксперты.
Я не заметил в Бургасе неприятного запаха. Интересная информация 😃
