I can't quite get rid of the thought that ironmouse might actually be great at operatic metal, especially after hearing this, as I've mostly heard her singing live on stream, where she is mindblowing already, so recorded stuff like this is awesome.
You may already know, but she is classically trained in opera, if it wasn't for her fucked up lungs and vocal cords (I believe they are to), and lack of immune system she would probably be a world class opera singer, I'd love to hear her do something like ghost love score, but that might be to low for her.

Ok, it's definitely a fun and a good cover, Mouse's voice makes it a bit special/weird to me, I don't love it. However ShiroBeats and Sleeping Forest did an amazing job with the beat, may be one of the best KING version out there.

@Psps wtf are you talking about? Vibrato is usually a sign of healthy belting! Never in my life has I heard vibrato = bad singing technique. There are people who go out of their way to fake a vibrato by moving their tongue, which is unhealthy, but I don't think mouse is doing that here as a trained singer.

That type of vibrato is more shaky, pronounced, and isn't as smooth as other types so it can easily ruin a song when it's done a lot, but because she does it for only a second and doesn't use it after every single line, it gives the right amount of umph
The entire song is amazing Mousey did an amazing job on the cover. My absolute favorite part is at 1:07 when she sings the beat in her gremolin noises though. Pretty much sums her up and is how she made the song her own.

eh, she was literally born with her voice in the 5th-6th octave, this isn't really talent or skill it's moreso that she was born with these octaves. She is a decently skilled singer though but as a post hardcore vocalist I must say that one Japanese lass did a much better, heavier rendition
