The way I consume UA-cam videos is by adding them to my "Watch Later" playlist and then let them autoplay podcast-style when I find a time to use my headphones. So its sometimes a month or a month and a half before I actually watch a video.
This is why Rich doing relatively inconsequential news videos is especially jarring to me. I just listened to his video the other day where he described the new direction for the channel. I don't think Boogie interviewing EDP or Playstation Portal selling more than you think it should are especially earth-shattering bits of news.

Rich, if you are going to do news, which I don't mind because sometimes you seem to really get a decent story together, you gotta stay away from drama. Only a few of the recent drama videos have had a lot of views, so there isn't really any incentive to make them. If you focus on videogame/tech/business news, that is fine. Bad take, really bad. Mike Clum is known to be very favourable to lolcows/internet personalities who are bad people. Yes, he could be gassing them up and it's even relatively likely. But the risk that EDP is going to be somehow humanized and enabled to return to the platform isn't good, even if that risk is small.

This is so important that you got to make a video about boogie interviewing someone that's not relevant anymore what has UA-cam come to when people are just grasping at anything to make a video so they can make a quick buck. Don't get me wrong I normally watch your videos in the first hour of them coming out still this one I couldn't get through because as far as I know not many people are talking about boogie anymore.
As disgusting as people like that are, we do need to hear their story. That education helps us to look for the warning signs for others like them. It helps us to process wtf kind of messed up head would even do acts like that in a constructive way. It helps us to take some sort of action that we can do to hopefully prevent these type of people in the future.
