I think the customs/duties to Canada can be quite high when shopping from the US - is that right? - so I can imagine that's a big barrier when shopping online in general. Ah I wish I watched this video before purchasing the oversized blazer! All the review says it runs big and I wanted a slouchy fit, so I chose my usual size 4. It turns out to be fitted on my shoulders and arms, not the oversized fit I was hoping for. Now seeing you wearing size 4 made me realize I should’ve sized up to 6 or even 8 to get the look, since you’re much more slender than me. 😊 Anyway, great informative video!

I struggle with the Everlane sizing because so many things I have from them are a different fit. I’m a size AU10 but I typically buy size 6 or 27 in pants and medium or 6-8 for tops. Size 41 or 10 in shoes and I’ve bought 10.5 in the glove boot and 11 in the day heel. I bought a size 6 in the oversized blazer, and it fits well, but I might try 8 next for more of an oversized fit. I currently have the Alpaca knit and 90’s jeans in my cart. I’m 5’10” so I appreciate that they have different length in the jeans. 🥰

I love blazers, but haven’t bought one for a few years, the current oversized ones don’t work with my narrow shoulders and hips, even in petite sizes they have a huge 5” shoulder seam and I need a 4” or less. This alteration, narrowing shoulders, cost $100-150 here in California, which increases the price per item too much. I’m hoping to see some classic-fit ones this coming Autumn, I never really liked those huge, really long, straight-cut ones. I want some waist definition in my blazers.

There are many of us who don't wear jeans and the flat front panel and side zip is very flattering for people with a slight mom pooch. I don't want them to discontinue this boot leg style.
Hi, I live in Melbourne and was wondering if you have any tips for purchasing Everlane online in Australia - are extra taxes or charges applied at customs that pump up the overall costs? I haven’t ever bought labels outside Australia but I have been wanting to buy from Everlane for years, especially their jeans and jumpers!
Hi Jo! So when you go to checkout, any additional fees will be charged then so you have the costs upfront. You'll be charged GST, but not duties if your order is under $1K AUD. Also just have a little peek on their website re: returns. Last time I ordered they had a local Australian facility which managed it, which simplified the process (and made it more cost effective) - a good thing to be aware of especially if you plan on buying a couple different sizes to suss out which is the best fit for you xx
OH! And if your purchase warrants it, I recommend upgrading to express shipping. Their regular/standard shipping often takes around 3 weeks to arrive to Australia, which can feel like a lifetime so I'll usually try and spring for it if I can x
Do you find that the mule style shoes with the strap only across the front of the foot (and not a wider strap which goes farther up the instep) make noise (hitting against the sole of your foot) as you walk? I generally prefer shoes which stay on my whole foot to avoid that step/slap added noise when walking, but these look so nice when you style them that I was considering whether to branch out.
Okay so I never actually notice this (probably as I run around like a headless chook 99.9% of the time) but I think they do. It's not something that bothers me but I know for others its a total bug bear!

YES! I hand wash though rather than put in the machine. Use cold water, gently agitate and then fold into a towel and step on it gently but firmly to expel excess water. Lay flat to dry (reshape first) xx
