I finally all but gave up, just trying every once in awhile to see if I could get lucky. I play on the switch, too, and I think what I've been doing wrong is not pressing the ZR button. I've been pressing "A" instead. I'm very excited to play later and try my hand at cooking again. Wish me luck! :-)
the fact that there are some recepies that are not listed is awesome! it means their might be more out there. Kinda shocked I haven't seen spaghetti considering we can grow tomatoes & wheat for noodles.
Would you mind making a very basic beginners guide on how to cook in Palia. I fnd anything other than vegetable soup stressful to attempt with the timer ticking, and I hate wasting resources.

I did have to to rewind frequently to re-hear what you were saying and turn my volume way up -- maybe consider upgrading your mic situation, or enunciating more? Eventually I found out that the word "three" tends to sound like "free" in this video, but it feels like a lot of mental effort and could be very frustrating for some to watch. This is a comment meant to be constructive as I feel you could really be amazing or S-tier with an upgraded mic setup and or accurate captions. Thank you for your guide and your thoroughness providing details & footage on how to get all of these recipes. 😊🥰
I believe you can get the cream of mushroom soup once you have tier 3 friendship with Hekkla or Jina. Once you get the key to the tent, I found the recipe in the tent.
Macaroon recipe can be found in multiple locations. I found it in Kilima Village in the Whispering Banks area, a friend found it near one of the bridges to Mirror Fields. I believe it was added with patch 0.166.
Ah actually got the sushi recipe in my home pond with glowworms, shocked me when ah got it! then a couple casts after, ah got the Giant Goldfish needed for some quest or other!

Not sure what triggers that. I looked at the book but couldn't interact with it. Next mail delivery and I had a library card.

Any info on the "mudpie" pie lover? mysterious being? I see that more pies can be placed at the swirly sparkly spot, near the Night Sky place...or does only one thing (mud pie decoration item) ever get dropped back?
I got ancient catfish from pond in front of Hassan with fish juice and sushi, that boosts your fishing skill. Not happy that I cannot cook with star quality ingredients!?! Even buying regular ingredients to plant w/o fertilizer still gives me mostly star quality crops.😢
I have a a loooong table 3 of the capital cheek tables in a row with all the dishes and some decorations, to showcase ALL the dishes. I even got a mud pie, from a mission 😂
you only can display star quality food and not all of them, so you should try which ones work, jam does not, unfortunately you have to have it in the inventory, "activate" it by pressing the corresponding number, then leftclick mouse to place it
So when I went for the Akwindu Chaapa recipe, I found the first 2 pages but at the 3rd one I instead got some love letter quest which was not related at all unfortunately, going back to it I cannot seem to find the last page, any clue what to do?
oh no, sounds like you had some overlapping there. I'm not sure if refreshing the instance would work for it, but you could try checking around the river bank and the huts in case it moved. If not then I imagine that's something they need to fix
Yeah I am not quite sure what happened but after I completed the quest from the "false" last page I logged off for the night and upon returning today the missing page was at the 3rd spot where it was supposed to be. @@KiahOnFireOfficial

Funnily enough, I got my Sushi recipe from the pond in my house lot! It took many tries, but after about 60-70 tries I got it.
