I wish the number system actually made some kind of sense. Kind of like copics. I'm color blind and struggle with colors.
Victoria Pyles you could try redoing the numbers? Like sit down with a friend and re order them and the put stickers on top to re label? Like those round stickers in white, then use the marker to colour it, and then write over the top in a black or white pen. As soon as she said the number system didn’t make sense, that’s where my mind went lol
Hiya. Did you know you can buy glasses especially for colourblind people. I dont know how much they are but they might help you.
JockScrapDraws those glasses are pretty expensive, so if he/she is trying to save money, it won’t work.
@@JockScrapDraws they're like $300.....so I doubt he/she would like to buy those glasses.
@@q-tiptingz7197 Depends on their income though. If they work as an artist the glasses would be beneficial, I think, if they just draw for fun its probably a waste of money. Theres youtubers called doodledate and the guys colourblind. He bought them and says they have helped him.

My family used to have a Scottish terrier, and we always made a "Uhuhuhuhuhuhu" sound around him. Just like....one of those weird noises people make around their pets, haha. So the marker name makes me think of that!

I was watching another youtuber, Coloring Bliss, and she discovered that the nib is double ended. So if it starts wearing out you can just pull it out and flip it around. Hope this helps!

I got this set and am really enjoying it! If/when one runs out, I plan on replacing with copic or winsor and newton. Thst way, I spend big bucks on marker I know I use

I know I’m a month late, but to extend use, of the marker still has ink but the nib wears down then simply pull out the nib and flip it around
In my opinion, copics suck. A LOT of people will disagree, but my bibs break none stop! And I don’t even press hard with them!

You should practice drawing skulls for one of your self improvement series videos! I've heard a lot of artists swear by skull drawings for being able to draw the face from every angle.

Thanks for doing marker reviews! You’re the one who introduced me to Blick markers, and those are my go-to markers because they’re cheaper than copics, have a brush nib, a good range of colors, and refillable!

What a beautiful illustration Baylee. And a great review. Hopefully Ohuhu will either start selling their .arkers open stock or offer refills as people get into these markers. And of course, expand their colour range to include more tints and shades. These look really fun though and definitely an affordable way to enter the world of alcohol markers. One can always upgrade to copics or even supplement the set with open stock markers from either the Copic or Blick Studio lines. This makes me want to try alcohol markers.
Ohuhus are amazing. Recently I got ohuhus, my first actual professional markers (I never colored my drawings that much, and if i did it always turned out horrible because of the low quality markers). I didn't really have any experience with coloring in general, but never since I got these markers my drawings, line art, and coloring improved. For awhile I lost interest in drawing but ever since I got these markers I've been drawing like crazy. These markers are great for artists who are on a budget but need a good set of professional markers. They're so vibrant and they aren't too streaky.

I'm glad you mentioned that some folks do refill their "non-refillable" markers with ink from other brands, because aaaall the other reviews I've watched so far neglect to mention that lol. As with every art and craft, you are only limited by how much of a mad scientist you are! (*gazes lovingly at her Frankensteinian collection of non-brushtip markers modified with copic and blick brush tips and refilled with inks from various companies and cackles maniacally*)
Also I really love how you redesigned Ariel's tail, it's lovely! I can only hope the live action version will have a tail that nice!

You can get a replacement, i got mine in january and one came broken and one recently run out and i contacted them... I got three extra markers ((different colors)) with the replacements
That's a special exception because it was damaged. If it runs out of ink due to normal use, you can't buy individual markers.
But in the small paper that said 10% off it specifically says if it dries you can contact them and replace them.
I love the drawing in this! The coloring on her tail and hair looks really beautiful. I'm kind of craving to try these markers now.. they look really fun and I've never had alcohol based markers before.

Okay I actually preordered Jazzas Art Box (I squealed when I found out they were doing another run :D) and thought I would have to wait till around Christmas to have some markers, but I think I'm getting these also. :D I'll have my last exam for my bachelor next week and will finally have more time for arts and crafts then.

Edit to comment: I agree, the Blick markers are definitely the best Copic alternatives. Spectra AD and Blick Studio seem to be two different brandings of the same marker. Out of the brush markers I own, they're definitely closest to Copic and work best with them, but these Ohuhu markers work with them well too. Really, Winsor & Newton is the only brush marker brand I own that I love on their own, but don't like mixing with my Copics too much. They seem to have more alcohol in them than the rest, so they dilute the copic ink rather than blending with it.
Will you ever try Art-n-Fly Markers? they have brush tips and are refillable.

If u ad rubbing alcohol on a plate put ink on the side mix it with a brush and its light the color look at drawingwiffwafles she is great at ohuhus

The brush nib can be flipped, but do it before the nib is too frayed. You can also refill with any alcohol ink which matches.
ETA: I've heard they are coming out with a 100 set later this year.

Oh schuh~ I just ordered Ohuhu markers on the Amazon Prime Day which was a really good deal, but it is ofc the markers with the chisel/broad nib. But I am gonna stick to them , I am just a beginner and I got a fair price for it.- But nice to know that I can upgrade :)
I think it makes sense if you get all the sets, since you only have one set, you're missing other colors so the numbers feel jumbled up. I have these and I noticed that when I bought a different swatch set the numbering system made more sense as I got more markers.
Once your marker runs out you can email them and request a new one for free :)
