21st Century Star-Spangled Banner (9/11)

- I did this arrangement of the "Star-Spangled Banner" during the tragic events of 9/11. It was played within that week on ABC Radio. I saw it as a new look at where our country has been....and where it is going.
This is amazingly done! Thank you so much for making this!
I got no words...except one: PROFOUND. Great rendition of this.
It is all synths. Glad you thought otherwise tho. Right now I am working on finishing a new recording of this arrangement using real players that have volunteered. I will repost when it is done. Thank you for your comment!
10 years later...our nation still heals but with a stronger resolve
10 years later...the tears still flow, but our faith does not dissolve
10 years later...enlightment comes to our hearts, and our hopes are raised again
10 years later...although this tragedy hurt us all, we all are the same.
In peace and in war, we are still a family, creating change and more,
seeing new innovations from shore to shore.
May we continue to become better and better in the years ahead. May god bless our land
How did you perform this? Is it real instruments with a lot of track on track, or is it mostly synthesized? It sounds like real instruments to me.

My wish is that all Americans come to grips with the fact that we are all in this together. Let's not fight with each other but try to get along in harmony to not only make this a better, stronger country, but the entire planet as well. Peace
@Jerseysson27 Sorry it has taken so long to reply. I have actually updated this version, and also recently entered it in an anthem contest. If I win it will be recorded by the U.K. Adult and Children's Choir with the London Symphony Orchestra. In the meantime you are welcome to save this version as a favorite to put on your site. It's time for all youth to unite together towards peace and to rock the era to it's core in a positive matter. This is our time! Transforming the great evils into a greater good out of all the tragedies and more, we can united in a positive matter, no more war and strife. That is my prayer for this world and more.

The moment I saw the second plane that terrible morning I turned & told my lady - "This is not accidental. This is some kind of terrible plot. Two large planes do not strike two buildings without massive planning & training"
When I saw building seven go I knew this had to be known about by a huge number of people. Turns out it was step one in a multi-year, multi party, global world coup.

@longfootbuddy I have a college degree in this, and I have to say that regardless of what you may think, the two parties exist, and there will always be at least two parties. It's just one consequence of having a free society. And I disagree with you, but another consequence of our free society is your right to express an opinion with which I disagree.
One thing I agree with is that we could use a third-party victory to jog the major parties awake, and into helping us vs. fighting each-other.
@longfootbuddy The problem that we have is that our system of government is designed in such a way that political parties are an unavoidable side effect of it. If the Democratic party is destroyed, they'll be replaced by the Communist party or the Green party or whatever, and if the Republicans are destroyed, they'll be replaced by the Facist party or the Freedom party, or the Tea party, or whatever. The simple fact is that we have to make the best of a bad situation.

@longfootbuddy Who decides that my degree means nothing? I spent four years studying political philosophy, American political history, Constitutional politics, international politics, Constitutional law, and more in one of the top poli scie programs in the US. So when I tell you that the two parties do exist, and that at minimum two major parties always will exist, and that partisan politics are good for the country (certainly better than establishing a single-party state) you should believe me.
@quantumdave I am sad to say I agree with you. It actually seems like a bad comedy movie that never ends and actually affects you, me, all of us!!!
@Karthos1000 It was just wishful thinking on my part. I don't see how anything can get done in this climate. I don't understand how members of the same "intelligent" species can be so diametrically opposed to each other. The Democrats are willing to compromise, and that makes them pussies, I guess. I think Republicans will go against their won feelings just so they can disagree, and throw a wrench in the monkey-works!!! I am so sad these days about our country that needs to pull together.
