Their collector grade, to me, is well worth the assurance of the packaging staying pristine. I mean, it's the price of a coffee. Even though most I open. Also, the pile of loot option, helps out when paying for shipping internationally.

BBTS is great!!!
BBTS is very safe if not the safest.
My only issue with BBTS is they are extremely slow to stock their product. However, this doesn't seem to apply to their Hot Toys. I think they prioritize their more expensive items, like Hot Toys. So, if you are solely a Hot Toys collector, you're fine. The only downside, over say, Sideshow, is BBTS has NO payment plan option. Now, again, this depends on the collector. if you are not comfortable making a $300 purchase all in one go, BBTS may not be the best option for you. I'm perfectly fine with that, but not everyone has that luxury, which is fine. every collector has their own budget.
I buy from no other source. Especially if you are buying a figure that is 1k like a SOC mazinger or a threezero or threea figure... u want a company that cares and expertly packages these treasures.

Just picked up a studio series shockwave and I have to say, it's uh, pretty good. I'm glad I used Big Bad Toy store because I couldn't find one in Walmart.
Ironic story. I couldn't wait for it to show up at Walmart, so I ordered via BBTS. Days after it arriving from BBTS, 3 figures showed up at Walmart. Like ugh
as a collector, BBTS is heaven sent! I'm one of those collectors that likes nice boxes and I always get the Collector grade if it's available.
Are you the type of collector that displays the figures out of the box? I'm new to this store and wondering which shipment grade to get.
@@Dragonwar0 Yes, I absolutely do take them out and display them. I am a collector but I also take much enjoyment looking at them and posing them. Also, I do keep the boxes should I decide to sell it later, etc. However, if it's a figure that I really like, then I get another one to just keep in the box sealed. Yes, I do have doubles of some figures, cars, etc. I always get the Collector grade if it's available. As a collector, and just being the OCD person I am, I always like nice boxes in everything I buy. And for the price that BBTS is charging for this 'upgrade' ($2-$5) it's absolutely worth it to me.

I'm an OCD person as well and always try to find the perfect packaging to indicate the package is safe inside. I don't know I'll be collecting a lot but always wanted a few figures of the games and anime I enjoy playing and watching.

That's a fairly point but what I do, is just put the money aside over the time. Like with Unicron. I didn't have the $575 to order or from Hasbro but I had a year to save up. Now when it reieases, it's paid for

Love BBTS! Although, I've noticed that their Hot Toys preorders are getting higher priced to compensate for something....the low shipping price perhaps?
BBTS has been a solid go to for a long time, usually you can score something like $4-5 cheaper elsewhere but BBTS has never canceled an order on me, they are SUPER easy to work with if something comes broken and get a ton of stuff. The Pile of Loot feature is nice if your picking up a lot of small stuff on pre-order and dont wanna pay $4 shipping each time. Really like those guys been using them for years to get stuff.

I agree 💯% and have been a big proponent of BBTS for this reason. I actually care that my hot toys are double boxed. As a collector why spend upwards of $300-1000 for beat up boxes 🤷♂️

I don't collect Hot Toys, but BBTS, Dokside Toys & Entertainment Earth have all been great to me. Excellent customer service and awesome shipping and handling.
BBTS is the best, hands down. Packaging is always thoughtful. In contrast, I remember buying some figures from Super7, & when the box arrived & audibly laughed. They'd just randomly crammed a bunch of figures together, every package was bent & creased in some way. I'm never ordering figures from anywhere other than BBTS ever again

I've been buying from BBTS for almost 4 to 5 ish years now and I have never been let down, I've never felt cheated on and they haven't failed me since. Extremely reliable store, all merchandise is officially licensed products, HUGE variety of just about everything. It's truly the adults version of a Toys R Us for us men of culture. 😂The fact you can reserve yourself an order the majority of the time without paying a single cent seriously serves as a massive advantage. Their Pile of Loot service is really great. I just had an amazing customer service experience with them recently and I couldn't believe how well this interaction went. Store can be a little pricey but it's got everything, it's reliable and well worth it. All your goodies come to you safe and sound well packaged. I have no problem being fully loyal to this wonderful store.
Hey just recently saw your comment and Im a person that starting to collect figures. I have recently found out about BigBadToyStore and was wondering do you mostly select the standard or collector grade for shipment packaging? What is your experience like for both if you had selected both.

Me personally, I always go with Standard Grade packaging. It is the cheaper of the two so here are the differences.
Standard grade is for those who aren't crazy about the conditions of their figure's boxes. BBTS ensures that when they ship their orders, most boxes are almost always in great condition with only perhaps a few small scratches like here or there, perhaps a tiny dent but overall your box should still be great if you wanna keep it for display purposes.
Collector's Grade will cost you a few extra bucks but they go the extra mile to look for the finest box condition of the figure you ordered. This state of the boxing is at near mint condition. No scratches on the display window of the box, no dents, etc. This grade is for those who are absolutely crazy about the figure's packaging condition and they're probably gonna save the box of their figure and put it on a wall amongst other of their previous figures boxes with that collection seeming flawless. Also, for this condition of the boxing, they undergo a few extra little things to ensure when they package and ship your order, it gets to you just as perfect as they received it at their warehouse.
Me, because of lacking the space, I can't keep my figure's boxes so another reason why I go with Standard Grade. No point in going Collector's Grade if I won't be keeping such a fine box lol. Till this day, it's always Standard grade for me with my purchases and like how I mentioned in my comment that you just read, I've always received my orders safe and well. All my goodies are secured in the packaging box and upon opening, 99.99% my figure's boxes are always in great condition. I've never had anything to complain about this store because of how well they do their job.
If this doesn't help you, I recommend simply go on BBTS's website, click on the "Help" icon next to "My Account ", go on the "Package Grading " box, and simply read the two small-ish paragraphs regarding the Standard Grade and Collector's Grade differences. Perhaps it could worded better than I did. XD

I sometimes buy transformers from BBTS
I love them too! And the $4.00 shipping is fantastic, especially on things that SSC or others will charge you an arm and a leg. I think, though, they come in a bit higher on price, about 10-20 bucks more but you make it up with the cheap shipping. I will usually compare them to Entertainment Earth where shipping is free over a certain amount and they are lower in price then BBTS but again you have to be over a certain price- and they will price match, too! So if you find it a BBTS and it meets Entertainment Earth free shipping amount then you can get for free shipping and usually the lower price. But I do love BBTS, they have excellent customer service, however, they do take a while to ship your stuff but hey it’s 4.00 so I’ll take it!

I've never had a problem with any orders from BBTS. There is sometimes a little wait but I'd rather have a guarantee than a fruitless hunt. Love when your cats crash the videos. Especially when Burger decided to sit in on your Metroplex review

Yeah totally it stands 4 dollars shipping and when i ordered, the shipment costed 24 dollars. And i have been wating for nearly a month now and is still stands scheduled delivery date pending. And oh there was moms also that was 17 dollars that came to our home. I guess I have to wait the entire Sommer holiday for this. The package costed instead of 40 dollars, 64 dollar + 17 dollars moms. And the value for dollar is even more than 10 kr at this time, so not funny. I hope the package hasn't been in a plane crash and 5 car crashes on the way to me. Just like the Godzilla figure i ordered from fruugo...

I live in Vancouver Canada and it’s much more for shipping plus customs fees 😞 so I buy my figures at a local collector store. No shipping or customs fees 🙅🏽♂️

I get mine from a store that charges 10% off sideshow prices plus shipping no tax and this one other shop that just charges sideshow price before shipping and tax total but slim selection. both stores you tend to have to wait longer but I save a nice chunk
Honestly Bigbadtoystore is the best all around collector store, i collect mostly Hot Toys,Funko pops and Neca figure the shipping is a little expensive for me since i live in Canada but its well worth it.The store does a great job with packaging.I stopped ordering from Sideshow because they ship your Hot Toys in the shipper box and i ad 2 damaged box on my last five order whit them.

Man, Bbts never has bootlegs, (they make sure not to sell them), which is great, they make sure their packaging and what not is superb, everything about them is perfect and I think they're the best to order from... HOWEVER, almost every time I go to look for a figure, 9 times outta 10 its always sold out. Every single time. BBTS also has the best and most reasonable price ranges, yet I still mainly get my figures from amazon, as they really aren't sold out much. But my god man, they are literally ALWAYS sold out. But when they're not, I make sure to order from there.

I prefer Sideshow because they offer payment plans that Bigbadtoystore doesn't. And you earn points towards other future purchases. Until Bigbadtoystore does these things, Sideshow is the place for Hot Toys purchases for me. I've gotten lots of Hot Toys from Sideshow and I've never had a problem with box damage. Come on man, like who really cares about bubble wrap?
That point thing is a scam honestly. Plus they changed it. Points you earn now expire after a year. So you can't bank em like you used to be able to. You're obviously NOT on any of the Facebook groups for 6th scale collecting. They always are posting about damaged art boxes. Also, the payment plan thing is nice. But i really don't see the full point in it. Each month, if i want something like a Hot Toys, i just put $20 away until it releases, which is usually over a year. Boom....there's your $200+ for a figure. If it's a higher priced figure, i put more away. Put it in a savings account for a year, let it gain interest, do that over and over, you got a bit extra every single time and you can use that to go towards another figure, kinda like what Sideshow does with their point system.

Hit preorder on bbts and when the “release date” came it was set back one month and after that another month and I never got my stuff I had to cancel my preorders
Release dates don't mean that is when they get them in stock. Just like a store. Almost everything you buy in a Target or Walmart has some kind of "release date". But that doesn't mean they get it at that time.

I do love BBT but there is one major problem with them compared to say amazon or target. They don't take responsibility for shipments that are lost or delivered to the wrong place. Unfortunately fedex has dropped my packages off at the wrong house multiple times. Each time the package did get to me sooner or later because of good neighbors. However, it the neighbors decided to keep it I would have been out hundreds of dollars. I had packagers go missing from amazon and target and they just refunded or sent the items out again for free. This is the main reason I only use BBT if I can't get the item from someplace else with better package protection.
I feel you could probably get something worked out with BBTS if you contact them. But i can understand some issues considering they are NOT Target or Amazon. Those companies are massive compared to BBTS

So do they only use that special BBTS tape when you order Collector grade?
Because a year or so ago I ordered a black series figure in collector's grade and they used that special tape. But recently I ordered standard grade and the past few times it's been the standard clear packing tape.
Bit of an odd nitpick but when I ordered the Planet X Caelus (FOC Not Swoop) and when he arrived, the parcel didn't have the BBTS tape on it, did they like stop doing it or something cuz I 'm quite fond of that tape

Nope. They don't. If you want them to put them in a separate box, it's an extra $10 PLUS they don't have the flat rate shipping.

Bro, have to disagree. I love BBTS, and get most of my toys from them, but Sideshow is the best because you can get on a payment plan. That makes it so much easier to preorder multiple items, as opposed to spending a big amount at once just to get one💯🤷🏼♂️👍🏻
I use a personal payment plan. I take however much out and save it. I got my Unicron from bbts because I didn't have the $575 immediately when it went up. I preordered it off bbts. Paid like $100 for a deposit and put $50 away every month since then. Now when it comes out, I have it and it's paid for. Same thing as their payment plan. I just keep my money in a savings account and get the interest on the money
