@@Tavemanic agreed. Even though I Dino think hasbro’s gonna make one, I just hope we get a properly scaled voyager figure of this guy. Also; I think it would be awesome if hasbro took the off-road bumblebee figure and remade it into a potential hound figure. Just giving a new head sculpt, a different colour scheme, a different weapon and there you go!

The fact that most of the bee movie figures is accurate and give us a lot of vibes from the previous toylines(like energon vibes from the ss bee movie arcee),make it more funnier
True. Despite being primarily G1 inspired these toys felt like a true collective love-letter to the entire franchise. Something that Hasbro hasn't really bothered doing since the original Generations line.

The bee movie blitzwing is always holds a special place in my heart,especially that mask on his face,its just looks awsome,and the bee movie optimus is honestly great and this is how a live action prime should be,a g1 cgi design,and the arcee figure was a unique figure ngl

Honestly, they need to somehow bring him back. I love this rendition of him despite his short screen time. And it would be great if he could triple transform, but I really like his colour scheme on the film

I am hoping we get a full sized BB Shockwave at some point. The Core Class figure isn't bad by any means but...just the fact that they made him a CC figure in the first place is just confusing to me.
Ravage makes sense, obviously, but it felt like they really just wanted to make another movie Core figure and just went "Eh, make it Shockwave" for some reason.
Good thing they made him❤

I really want hasbro to make a core class soundwave. The Shockwave is amazing. I also hope Dropkick and Thrust get core class figures.
Also I think the reason that Shockwave is core class is because all the characters will have larger 'in scale' figures but alot of collectors like the smaller scale.
On a bit if a tangent I hope Seaspray gets a figure like these as his g1 design would be amazing in live action style

We just need either a voyager or leader figure in the near future for Bumblebee Shockwave, the core class one doesn’t do him justice.
@@PlatinumKnight-je3vy it does for people who collect the smaller scale. I collect legends class and he's the only good Shockwave in that scale as I can't find the DOTM one anywhere. I get your point but the smaller scale is preferred by some.
@@vulture117 I totally understand that but at the same time my real problem with core class is that it’s selling a small figure for half the price of a deluxe (£10.99) and legion/cyberverse sold them for half of that back in the day. I know that the reasoning for its price point is that it’s a more detailed and better quality figure but still, that’s a little too much to ask for.
Honestly Optimus prime and that Bumblebee/B127 is actually a movie accurate also why do shockwave is small?🤣and I'm literally mad because Shatter and dropkick don't have a 3 in 1 transformation.
I believe the reason why Shockwave gets into the first wave of the core class figures is that Shockwave is a scientist, and the whole core class thing is actually his (Hasbro’s) experiment. If he sells well, they are going to make more main figures in the core class size. And if not, they’ll probably stop at some point. I personally find these core class figures quite enjoyable, and given that they are at the ~$10 range they are actually quite well made.
I think this should be made into a movie of soundwave making little core class figs

Personally I’d say my list so far is this (keeping in mind I obviously don’t have the second wave stuff)
1. Starscream/thrust- very accurate, articulate and pulls off both modes amazingly well. They also just look like really intimidating seekers.
2. Arcee- looks great, seems to pose well and mixes two of my fav versions, the OG and Prime
3. Ratchet/Ironhide- both very accurate in robot mode while having a really cool and interesting transformation/alt mode. Reminds me a ton of the wfc game stuff
4. Soundwave and ravage- a great duo that nail the robot modes, though the vehicle modes and articulation leave a bit to be desired.
5. Brawn- another super accurate and creative figure. Even for the small size he packs a ton of detail.
6. Wheeljack- a great and simple redesign that screams Jackie while also feeling new
7. Jeep bumblebee- a true surprise and stand out among the earth mode characters.
8. Optimus prime- a great first attempt at this design. Though I find the inaccuracies and certain aesthetic/engineering points to take away from it after awhile.
9. Blitzwing- a figure I thought was overly hyped when I got it. It’s good but has a lot of QC and design issues that hurt it a lot in hand.
10. Jet shatter- a great mold that feels slightly out of proportion and scale with the other bots. Something about it just feels off when standing next to the others.
11. Car Dropkick- a fun and somewhat accurate figure that falls short in articulation.
12. Cybertronian B127/Cliffjumper- while the QC on these was trash, once I tightened everything up and found a more solid leg transformation I can’t help but like them. Kibbly, yes. Worst SS figures? Nah
13. Helicopter dropkick- a pretty cool design just not anything we saw in the movie. I could see it working well as a Knightverse spinister or something.
14. Volkswagen Bumblebee- inaccurate, ugly colors and very flimsy.
15. Car shatter- ugly, falls apart and reminds me of why I never got into the line before 86 and the BBM stuff
not going to add core shockwave to the list as that obviously isn’t meant to be the version we put with the others, but does show a ton of promise for the eventual larger version. Overall though I’d say the cybertronian characters not only kill most of the earth mode characters but I think these are some of the best movie figs we’ve ever gotten. It’s amazing what cool character designs and smart toy engineers can do at this price point. Common hasbro, BRING ON A MEGATRON AND MAGNUS!!!!!

The Cybertronian mode Autobots were quite cool, specifically the Ratchet/Ironhide ones. I feel like the next three instalments will give us good Studio Series figures, can’t wait to see what that Rise of the beasts Scourge looks like!
We saw Triple changers in deluxe size before, you can't do triple changers the way they were done in the movie. In fact considering in the movies they can scan any vehicle whenever they want triple changer is pointless.

All I need left is ironhide, arcee, brawn, and wheeljack. I don't intend on getting core class Shockwave. But the quality shift with these new cyberyronian designs is insane! Its easily one of the best toylines I've ever invested in and I'm so excited for it.

It’s maybe that Hasbro wanted to balance out the size class fairly and also they possibly needed at least two core class figures in the recent wave? We all need to hope that we’ll get a future voyager or leader figure of Shockwave though both Ironhide and Arcee apparently mark the final two figures in the assortment.

I'm gonna give you crap on giving Optimus the top spot, he was a Freightliner FLA 86 COE in the film, but the toy of him transforms into a Marmon HDT-AC-86 COE, the truck Optimus disguised as in Age of Extinction. He looks jarringly different, to such an extent that I would rank him much lower on this list.

@@PrimeVsPrime agreed, I would love a newer, more accurate figure of Optimus Prime from Bumblebee, maybe even with a trailer at a Leader price point, that being said, it is hard to notice. I only noticed when I got a side by side of the figure and the scene. Cab-over-engine trucks tend to have a lot of the same styling cues, the biggest differences that tipped me off were that in the movie he was more of a cube while the toy is a bit taller than it is wide or long, and the headlights in the movie were much smaller than on the toy.
@@TaunTaunTundra4477 I would have just moved Optimus down the list, maybe to second or third since, even being inaccurate, it is a great figure, I have one myself. I just think that it gets a couple of points off for being the wrong truck.

The Bumblebee movie Skywarp sadly only has purple for some reason, the same happens with Thundercracker who has both red and blue but the color layout is completely different from his G1 design.
I only own Ratchet and have Ironhide on the way but still, a great majority of the SS Bumblebee figures are good.

That sound wave robot mode was awesome just sucks that they couldn’t make it transform into a cybertronion plane so I just got the legacy one instead
11:15 I hope they do this with more molds I think slight variations like that give the other characters more personality. I will never understand why they chose thrust as the other seeker though they had so many options like skywarp, thundercracker, slipstream, or those three storm guys from g1 I can't remember there names.

I love the bee line, way more than the bay designs. That said, I'd have put prime - who imo is old, tired, and kind of bland these days - down arouch ratchet etc because "oh cool prime is prime no surprises or excitment there". I think amada did better for him by making him a firetruck - that feels heroic to me.
Anyway, I would have put Arcee at 1(because oh my god finally my girl got solid), soundwave at 2(still soundwave, but good quality and i like the lil spy hovercraft thing. i can see it deploying with a cloaking devie), brawn 3 (because he looks tonka tuff).
As an aside, you helped me realise why I didn't like camaro bee. To me, he's the pesant of the group. All these major heroes and he's just like a farm boy who still sometimes holds the sword by the blade. His alts should be like, junkers or old handme down things. A bug, jeep, corolla, etc - these feel 'poor kid' next to the others, but a sports or muscle car feels like it's standing up with the heroes. Bee, to me, was always a hero by deed not birth.
Armada Optimus was not a firetruck.
Fire truck Optimus was from Robots in Disguise 2001, but I totally agree about that alt mode being fresh for him, it's so sleek. Armada Prime's cab looked cool too

My only SS figures so far are Thrust and jet Shatter and I love 'em (even if Thrust's upper leg articulations are kinda loose on mine).
I have Ratchet and Wheeljack coming and I absolutely cannot wait for that Arcee!

Just got the ss bumblebee soundwave and the robot mode is sick looks just like the soundwave in the movie
I can't wait to get my hands on Arcee and Ironhide. Those are the only two I don't have yet. Cybertronian figures are my favorite and they fit in well with the WFC and FOC Transformers.
Car Shatter has potential to be a great base for Custom transformers. It's not accurate to anything, so you'd end up with a unique robot mode for a custom character, with a nice off-road muscle car alt mode.

I am so happy I managed to get studio series 38 optimus prime for my birthday because it was the only one at the store. It's not premium finish but it's just as good. unfortunately the silver paint has scratched off so it's not as clean as it was before.
Aren’t you forgetting the toys-r-us exclusive customizable Camaro bumblebee that was really just a rerelease of Camaro bee from the first movie with swappable plates with decals on them and a figurine of Charlie

SS 40 is the worst, the transformation is so boring, the kibbles are getting in your way when you pose her, I know this is based on the cybertronian mode in the opening sence, but come on this design only appeared for less than three seconds when her mask was on.
Then is SS 18, as how lazy hasbro is, they have a common formula, the backpack is a nightmare, the shape, they totally have changed it, not looking good, but not the worst
Then SS BBM shockwave, the transformation is modified from the TFP, we haven’t seen the alt mode in the movie, so they can do what they want, but core class…eh, not my favour
Then SS 22, still, just like you said, too skinny and colours are way off, weapons aren’t accurate, but still a good engineerings
SS 59, the kibble, every improvements are remarkably good, however the waist swivel… and the backside of her is just not looking nice, the whole jet thing is just left at the back
SS 64, the backpack is the major problem
SS 70 and Buzz worthy SS 70
Which the original has an inaccurate colour scheme, same thing the backpack is the main problem
While the Buzz one, I will give him a slightly more higher rank
Next is SS 46, I got the Japanese version, not too sure the US copies, but for mine, the joints, the posabilities are pretty decent, the cannon is just too bad ass
However the shoulder joints from mine are too tight, and the wheels on his hands are such a horrible thing to transform him
SS 65
Just a good figure, however hope they can make some battle damaged colours to make him look like more realistic, the head of the jet can be bigger
SS 82 not good, colours mismatches, loose joints, but the transformation and alt mode is cool, glad they announced they make ironhide as well
SS 76
I would love to see more cybertronian form robots, the colours isn’t a problem since this figure is just awesome, based on the blitzwing mold, great choice to see them based on the mold and remold a bit, wish they can include the cannons that used to strike the autobot tower down in the opening sence
SS 72 the weapons that he used, to strike the autobot tower down, didn’t include sadly
SS 83 and Ravage
Not bad! But we won’t really talk about the alt mode is just PaNCaKE or pizza
Ravage is good, same thing alt mode, they can make it slightly thinner, the head joint is missing unfortunately
SS 81 The whole thing is just awesome, unfortunately for me, I want hasbro to include more weapons, not just only a cybertronian cannon that every other autobots decepticons used, such a lazy job for that, still okay though
SS 80 love they include this buddy, such an unexpected release at that moment, enjoyable transformation, love they make the alt mode cool
SS Arcee, such a figure that completely changed my mind, oh my god, although the backpack is very odd, but the colours and posabilities in fact is the main point why PvP’s video changed my mind, but the legs are disappointing for me
SS 57 the figure isn’t the best, but how they designed it, nearly perfect, just the backpack is kind of flat that makes me think this is the design sacrifice
SS 38
Is the best transformation ever, the experience is nuts, good colour scheme, the toes and the inner things that held together at the legs, kind of loose and easy to disconnect, suggesting to remove the kibble at the back of his legs by the way, the backpack isn’t that bad although I am not a fan of flipping the front of the truck as his back, as I said the toes, should have looked like slimmer, if you look at the design, isn’t like how they make this figure, not the worst though
PF SS 38
For those who have bought him, I can just say, keep this figure well, this figure is perfect, no any other reasons, just keep this figure well, realistic battle damaged paint applications, the head sculpt has been improved, all the things summed up has been one of the most highest rankings in my list, but I have SS 38, so don’t need to damage my wallet to get one more, just customise him to look like PF version

Why is blitzwing alt altmode inaccurate, maybe because Boeing, "owner" of the f4 phantom didnt allowed it to be licensed. military Equipment has to be licenced just like cars

My opinion: I don’t think bee is the worst I don’t have him but I do want him and I agree that the to transform him is a nightmare
This thrust was based on the armada thrust and not the cone seekers
The WV Beetle Bumblebee and Helicopter Dropkick that I have are no more than a trash pile

Hey love the show I'm still a fan of the transformers 49 I remember when the first show I was 13 at the time WOW how it's grown.i just wish the movies character would stayed the same as the cartoon now that would have been cool.i just don't remember Optimus prime having any kind of fire on his truck it was hot rod.. Honestly found this video by completely random and atually forgotten about transformers for about 5-6 years but seeing the almost retro fitted toys really brought me back into transformers. Haven't seen the bumblebee movie but seeing the og transformers from the original tv show is nice.
