Are you still diabetic and do you still have a fatty liver? Over the last 4 months, I dropped from 269 lbs. to 225 lbs. I am, very sadly, still diabetic, but I have hope that losing another 20 to 30 lbs. might bring me out of it, however, my liver enzymes have already dropped from waaaayyyy above normal to high normal for the first time in about four years, so my liver is losing its fat. Meanwhile, I've been on a low-dose statin for quite awhile, but just since the weight loss, my LDL and total cholesterol dropped like a rock, my HDL rose while the HDL:LDL ratio changed to excellent, and my triglycerides dropped to normal - but my hs-CRP is still unhealthy. When I was younger and drank a couple of beers every day I quit for a couple of months. After about 6 weeks of sobriety my mood lifted proving to me alcohol is a depressive drug. I still enjoy an occasional drink, but know if I over do drinking on a Saturday night I'll have a delayed depression on Wednesday. That delayed hangover happened enough times for me to believe it and carbohydrate hangovers from big meals still happens to me. By following similar food guidelines mentioned here, especially giving up soda pops, I lost over 80 lbs. Eating fruit for sweet snacks is another habit I developed that has saved my life. Yes!!! Our school system dropped the ball in preparing us for REAL life. Nutrition and finance should be taught at an early age....and should be required subjects every semester.
Diabetes 2, my grandad was 89 had that disease all his adult life, the end result was obesity, and liver cancer found after autopsy. Died from fall due to Addison Syndrome and grief from wife who passed.
I gave up soda and replaced it with Alkaline88 water. This water not only has electrolytes, it has Himalayan minerals. Not all water is created equal. I never thought about the water I drank; however, I swear this is the best tasting water I have ever had. It's expensive for water; however, the best investment you can make is in yourself. This combined with walking 1 hour a day with my dogs changed my life. I lost 20lbs and now I am exactly the weight I'm supposed to be.
Remind your loved ones who concern you by their alcohol consumption that the reason they get "drunk" from drinking alcohol is due to an allergic reaction mostly felt in the brain. That was the information that did it for me... Why would you continue to drink something that you're allergic to so badly that it makes you slur your words & lose your physical coordination(?)🤷♀️

Very informative, fast food is what got me into bad health, and the convenience and taste makes it addictive I gained a lot of weight and Iam determined to stay away from it like the plague. It caused me to get fatty liver I was pre diabetic and now to get my health back it's exercise and a healthy diet and make it a life style change because I heard sugar attracts cancer. Truly my physical life depends on those two things. GOD Bless you and your online or u tube presentation.
Thank you for your kind words, and we're glad to hear that you're committed to making positive changes for your health. It's not uncommon for convenience and the taste of fast food to make it an attractive but potentially unhealthy choice.

Flax and all other polyunsaturated is oil is very reactive with oxygen. It must be cold pressed in oxygen free chamber. Try Barleans oils. Or grind your own fresh perhaps using your teeth.
I do all these things, plus have a few tsps of apple cider vinegar with mother in my lemon water. Sometimes add to vegetable juice. Also reduce food intake. Lost 85 lbs. So far

Tragicly, heated refined oils are trans (altered) fats also, not just hydrogenated oil. Redefining the term allows food processors to include but not count them. The natural cis form(s) are used in cell membranes and facilitate oxygen transfer, trans oils cannot. Oxygen depravation leads to cells reverting to sugar fermentation for energy as in cancer...,...,.
You bring up an important point about heated refined oils and their potential impact on our health. It's true that trans fats can form when oils are exposed to high heat, and these altered fats can indeed have negative effects on our cardiovascular health. It's crucial to be mindful of our cooking methods and choose cooking oils with higher smoke points to minimize the formation of trans fats. Opting for healthier fats like olive oil, avocado oil, and coconut oil for cooking can be a better choice. Additionally, you're right that the structure of trans fats can impact cellular processes and oxygen transfer. This is another reason why it's important to prioritize heart-healthy fats in our diet. Thanks for sharing this insightful information with the community!

I think I do well considering, in my youth, as children we all went for sweets & chocolate. We had a healthy diet at home & evenmin my teens. I gave up sugar in hot drinks from when I was 15 & rarely add this to my green tea today. As I was active with in sport, but rarely took a coke or soda to quench my thirst, I've always taken fish oil since around 20, to help with my sports & active lifestyle over the last 40 years. Even though we did proper home cooking with our 2 sons, when at school as theyve got into their 20s, they still eat similarly but always go for sodas or burgers if out & about if peckish! We usedvto gave & still drink lots of water & squash instead. Ive hardly eaten burgers or fast food during my life so far, but I can honestly say, as a proud Brit, fish & chips are still a favourite occasion. If one thing, for me, I had an op in late 2021 & that was tough on my diet, given I needed good badic low fat foid, but the hardest thing was to avoid sugary hits because you get bored etc. A steady recovery process was helped by adding Prunes, Aprocots, Chia & natural mixed nuts with a spoon of Olive oil 3 times weekly & I've done well health wise. Discipline is difficult but it helps in regulating any craving, something you stick to. With the occasional beer at weekends, still nibbling chocokate in smaller doses, I think my fish oil past has helped me more than I realise too! Great video & something I can share with my fast food sons... You never know?

Nice! Yes, I have always considered health pioneer Paul Bragg's Garden of Eden diet to be friendly to my system. The Garden of Eden diet consists of fruits, vegetables, nuts, and seeds. I focus on vegetables as the base of this diet. I combine this diet with rice, millet, and quinoa. Thank you!
Thank you for the valuable information HDC. I consume certain favorite foods e.g., chicken wings, as a reward for good behavior or as an escape from stress or sad/bad experiences. Many of my friends tend to reward/bubble themselves, with alcohol, it's a matter of personal choice. We humans, the ones created by God, not the ones from AI, are imperfect and always will be. It's perfectly fine to be worried about your physical health, your body, but I prefer to prioritize my spiritual life. That being said, as HDC encourage through the video, we have to do our part in order to help our body to work properly. My final comment... It's all about will power, any person can do it. Ready, set, GO !!!
My brother did just the opposite of this video, and I've been on this track myself. I changed my way of eating, however this is the exact thing that killed my brother. I wish, I had known this and could have passed this on to him. Instead, his family cremated him and erased him from existence. Yes I still morn for my brother.
We never forget our family members who pass on, and missing them is hard. I miss all my siblings and parents,/ our hearts will mend a bit, if others can’t handle that, I’m sorry for Them. Telling us to move on is not their place. May God hold us all close to His Spirit.
We're truly sorry for the loss of your brother. Grief and loss can be incredibly difficult to navigate, especially when it relates to something as personal as health. It's natural to have a mix of emotions during this time, including sadness and regret. Please remember that you made the best decisions you could with the information available to you at the time. It's not your fault, and you are not responsible for your brother's choices or the outcome. Grieving is a process that takes time, and it's important to be patient with yourself and seek support if needed. If you're struggling to cope with your feelings, consider reaching out to a mental health professional or a support group. They can provide guidance and a safe space to process your emotions. Your brother's memory will always be a part of you, and finding healthy ways to remember and honor him can be a healing journey.

The regulation of food products and ingredients is a complex and multifaceted process that involves various stakeholders, including government agencies, food manufacturers, scientific researchers, and consumer advocacy groups. While some harmful food ingredients or practices have been restricted or regulated by governments, several factors contribute to the challenges in implementing widespread bans: Scientific Complexity: Determining the safety or harm of specific food ingredients often requires extensive scientific research and evaluation. The effects of these ingredients may vary depending on factors such as dosage, individual health, and overall diet. Industry Interests: The food industry plays a significant role in the economy, and it often resists regulations that could impact its profitability. Food manufacturers may have substantial lobbying power, making it challenging to enact strict bans on certain ingredients. Consumer Choice: Governments aim to strike a balance between regulating harmful ingredients and preserving consumer choice. Banning certain foods or ingredients entirely may infringe on individual freedoms and preferences. Regulatory Frameworks: Regulatory agencies like the FDA in the United States or the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) in the European Union have established processes for assessing and regulating food ingredients. These processes can be slow and may require extensive scientific evidence to make changes. Global Supply Chain: Food production often involves complex global supply chains, making it difficult to enforce bans uniformly across all regions. Instead of outright bans, many governments and regulatory agencies focus on other strategies to promote healthier eating, including: Labeling: Requiring clear and informative labeling on food products to help consumers make informed choices. Education: Conducting public awareness campaigns to educate consumers about the potential risks of certain ingredients or dietary practices. Regulations: Implementing limits on the use of specific ingredients or setting maximum allowable levels for contaminants. Incentives: Providing incentives for food manufacturers to reformulate products to be healthier. Ultimately, food regulation is a dynamic field that evolves as new scientific evidence emerges and public health priorities change. Advocacy, consumer demand, and public awareness can also play significant roles in driving changes in food production and regulation.
Awesome very clear explanation video. Love it the 1st time, subs n liked. Btw, which is worse, if we use olive oil to cook most likely with it's low smoking point, it will be oxidized w free radical vs using a processed high smoke point oil which may not be oxidized by the cooking? The coconut oil neatly doubled my cholesterol in 6 months. I now use almost no oil but when needed I will use cold pressed extra virgin olive oil. I cut out red meat and will only on occasion eat salmon or chicken. My numbers are great now and have lost 30 lbs in about 6 months.
I thought salmon was really really good for us. I just can't afford it! Especially the good kind (wild caught; no added coloring). Appreciate your comment about coconut oil, though: it would be one more thing I'd have to buy - and I do only use olive oil if anything. Do you think coconut oil is really not so great?
@cockeyedoptimista. I think coconut oil is really bad. I think coconut oil companies did false research to promote it for their profits ever since they started mass coconut farms overseas. Just my personal opinion. i know diabetics who at first consumed coconut oil in the their coffee every morning to stabilize their blood sugar. Ot worked at first but then their blood sugar climbed real high. It overloads the liver, only fish oil, krill oil, olive oil is safe and even then in moderate amounts,
Coconut oil is excellent, wild caught salmon as usual man screws it up with greed trying to farm it, and making a pigs ear of it...lol excuse the pun and you are correct about olive oil, dark glass bottle and pure
@@mumac8865 I wish I could the coconut oil. My doctor has run a couple of different tests with me using coconut oil over a year. Unfortunately I just can't use it.
The impact of brown bread, oats, and potatoes on fatty liver can vary depending on several factors, including portion sizes, preparation methods, and individual dietary needs. Here's a general overview: Brown Bread: Whole-grain brown bread can be a better choice than white bread for individuals with fatty liver because it contains more fiber and nutrients. Fiber helps regulate blood sugar levels and may assist in managing weight. However, portion control is essential, as too much carbohydrate consumption, even from whole grains, can contribute to weight gain and potentially worsen fatty liver. Opt for small servings of whole-grain bread, and consider pairing it with sources of lean protein and vegetables for a balanced meal. Oats: Oats are a nutritious choice for individuals with fatty liver. They are high in soluble fiber, which can help lower LDL cholesterol levels and stabilize blood sugar. Oats can be beneficial for weight management and may have a positive impact on liver health. Consider consuming oats in the form of oatmeal, but be mindful of added sugars and portion sizes. Choose plain oats and sweeten them with fruits or a small amount of honey or maple syrup if desired. Potatoes: Potatoes themselves are not inherently harmful to individuals with fatty liver, but the preparation method matters. Boiled or baked potatoes with the skin on are better choices compared to deep-fried or processed potato products like French fries or potato chips. The skin of potatoes contains additional fiber and nutrients. Also, avoid excessive use of butter, oil, or creamy sauces when preparing potatoes, as these can contribute to unhealthy fat consumption. Ultimately, when managing fatty liver through diet, it's important to focus on a well-balanced, whole-food diet that is low in saturated and trans fats, added sugars, and processed foods. Incorporate a variety of fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, whole grains like oats and whole-grain bread, and healthy fats in moderation. Portion control and overall calorie intake should be considered to support weight management, which is crucial for fatty liver management. It's advisable to consult with a healthcare provider or a registered dietitian who can provide personalized dietary recommendations based on your specific health needs and the severity of your fatty liver disease.

Well done. Nice consolidation of vital info.
Yes, this is an accurate and very good summary.
Drinking plain old water is best, 0 calories and 0 harmful elements

This video sums up what I have been thinking all along.

Thank you for the valuable information HDC.
I consume certain favorite foods e.g., chicken wings, as a reward for good behavior or as an escape from stress or sad/bad experiences. Many of my friends tend to reward/bubble themselves, with alcohol, it's a matter of personal choice.
We humans, the ones created by God, not the ones from AI, are imperfect and always will be. It's perfectly fine to be worried about your physical health, your body, but I prefer to prioritize my spiritual life.
That being said, as HDC encourage through the video, we have to do our part in order to help our body to work properly.

My great grandfather lived for 99 years. He never consumed alcohol. Grandfather 94 year never consumed alcohol.
Thank you for the excellent info,God bless you.
Just carry your good memories with you of your brother.
Same here.

Very Helpful Info. God bless you!
If we know how harmful these foods are for our bodies, why then don’t Governments ban food manufacturers from using them?
LOLz - yes, because (Western) governments are on our side, and not the side of Big Food, Big Pharma, Big Tech etc.
The government is making money on these things just like the company.
they do ban a lot of them in Europe but not the USA , the "free market" must triumph.
The regulation of food products and ingredients is a complex and multifaceted process that involves various stakeholders, including government agencies, food manufacturers, scientific researchers, and consumer advocacy groups. While some harmful food ingredients or practices have been restricted or regulated by governments, several factors contribute to the challenges in implementing widespread bans:
Scientific Complexity: Determining the safety or harm of specific food ingredients often requires extensive scientific research and evaluation.
Instead of outright bans, many governments and regulatory agencies focus on other strategies to promote healthier eating, including:
Labeling: Requiring clear and informative labeling on food products to help consumers make informed choices.
Never trust the government. It's all about the money. They could care less about our lives.✅

I am confused with the effect of coconut oil on heart disease from various sources of information. The conclusion is inconclusive. Is it good or bad?
Coconut oil is a good guy
Excellent, Excellent explanation. Keep it up !
High cholesterol is a lie, your body needs cholesterol for your brain and hormones, google Dr. Eric Berg he has several videos on cholesterol.
Is bronwbread and oats and potatoes healthy for fattyliver ? Plz reply
The impact of brown bread, oats, and potatoes on fatty liver can vary depending on several factors, including portion sizes, preparation methods, and individual dietary needs. Here's a general overview:
Brown Bread: Whole-grain brown bread can be a better choice than white bread for individuals with fatty liver because it contains more fiber and nutrients.
