I hate the in water ending being “canon” kinda ruins all the growth and understanding and him taking responsibility for his actions and moving on if he just kills himself anyway. What if the events that take place in silent hill eventually led to survivors and people who have escaped silent hill to spread the horrors of the town on a wider scale. This would explain silent hill F as it being possibly an effect of some pathogen conjured by the order in an attempt to further expand there religion. The extra torture on Alessa makes no sence to me,I think they are quite clear that her wounds come from her house incident,and the ''nightmare" is the spell(or the "God" she got impregnated with powers) that keeps her alive, when her wounds have been proven to ve fatal.
