Mam ,if there is mucus present in surface lining then how can HCl be present on surface layer as HCl is secreted by lower cells and on surface there is change in pH it will not neutralize it's effect
yes, some neutralization will be there. That is why there is a gradient of pH change if we see from top layer of HCl to the layer just closest to the luminal wall. Near the lumen wall pH is little on higher side and is lowest at the top.

Mam to those pts taking long term PPI for various reasons .... Where, the important role of HCL couldn't be fullfiled when we give PPI !!! Like gastric HCL is needed to to stimulate and change the prosecretin into secretin and inturn activ of CCK and all these are hampered and how digestion process will be carried out ...similarly , also for activating pepsin, for iron absorption, how to tackle the scenario mam!!!! In context to long term adm of PPI????? CAN U tell me about this mam!!!
