I've read a lot of comments about where did this color version come from and how they've never seen it before. It was in the Unforgettable Fire Deluxe (some call it Super Deluxe) release in 2009 Bonus DVD. Some of us diehards that have had it and have attempted to upload it for years and have never managed to do so. I am so glad as a U2 diehard that it is finally available for ALL to see. And yes, I agree with many of you, this version is superior to the sepia official video!
0:30 I used to watch this video on TV when I was 15 y.o. Now here I am at the age of 53 watching the same video on UA-cam! Still have the same feeling hearing these guys!!! U2 forever!!!❤❤
This is classic U2! It will never be duplicated again. These songs can only be written and recorded when you are at a certain age and point in your life. They are no longer in their 20's...when the world was in their hands. The music they make now is where they are at this point and time...in their later years. I miss the music and energy they had in the early 90's...Achtung Baby was a masterpiece and Zooropa was probably their most experimental work ever. Youth! I was lucky to see them live twice during that time...thanks boys!
I am roughly the same age as Bono so I was in my twenties when they hit the states. I loved them as a young woman in my twenties and still do as an older me in my 60's. One of the best band's ever.
"It will never be duplicated again,. . . " In fact. That wave we ride in the 20's of our short lives is full of Optimism. We have to hold on to these Visions, I feel -- carry them in our hearts throughout our Time here. What you said here is so right on. . .
Afuckinmen Mr d. But it is totally unacceptable for them to play the sphere without their ring leader Larry Mullen Jr. Heal quickly lar from ur surgeries
@Park James Shaw I agree, them doing the Vegas shows without Larry is disappointing and a bit of a "who cares" attitude, not the U2 I've loved for so many years!

@@ellukitaa__6571 Yes, and also the non released Anton Corbjin version of Pride. And for "The Joshua Tree" I expect the videopclip of "Red Hill Mining Town," an outstanding song that was originally planned as a single, but they changed it till the end (the single instead was "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For"). We can find this clip in the U2 channel, but the resolution is poor and I hope they will update it in HD.
Red hill mining town is great and I’m sure that will be released. I doubt they will release the unreleased version of pride as the band themselves didn’t like it and to be honest it really was a terrible video that should not be released
@@paulwood6263 I agree with you, the Anton Corbjin version is not the best one at all, but it´s a priceless collection piece, and they kow it. 30 years ago, I stood in a shop in County Galway and my brother teaching me to say the best band in the world is U2. 2021, I still say U2 are the greatest band around. Larry, Adam, Edge, Bono.. Thank you so much.
Pride is perhaps by far one of the most iconic U2 sounds of all time. Very powerful and very loud vocal. A perfect album with a spirit more focused on the elements of Mother Nature and a U2 sounding very loud and one of the most emblematic riffs of this Irish band.
So cool. I’m 20 and been a U2 fan my whole life ever since my Dad who’s the biggest fan on the planet brought me up listening to them. I love being around the same age as them now especially as I listen to their early albums. U2!
