      i would love to, dz by me is $3200 for 1-25 jumps and aff course. then 3-5k for used gear. about $8200. im starting to save but itll take forever. then to get c license its 200 jumps... $25 per jump x 200 = 5k. about 13k for that and then base jumping has been a passion of mine and i really wanna do someday so i might just save 15k so i dont have to worry about the financials. Gonna take forever but gonna be worth it.

      @@daddyfatsack68 It is definitely expensive to get started. I spent about $15000 my first year. It is definitely worth it though! All the adventures you will have and people you get to meet. You won’t regret it!

      Luckily, my DZ is $3200 from ground school through A license. All gear and USPA memberships included. So not a dime more. Also good discounts if I buy a rig after too. But rentals are $30 so thats not bad and thats with a pack after.@@daddyfatsack68

      Hey,thanks for uploading an amazing video :) I was wondering, did you end up deploying your parachute in an unstable position on the hop&pop? Btw, it looked kinda scary to not see a parachute opening at the end lol, I wish you'd leave the video uncut until you opened xD

    • @ChuteHer
      @ChuteHer  3 місяці тому

      @@AuroraClair I was not in an unstable position when I opened. I did get back to belly and deployed my parachute in plenty of time.
      That's why they have you do a hop n pop at 5000 feet first. So you can get that idea of jumping right out and deploying your parachute. I have now done some hop n pops at just under 6000 feet while jumping with 4 other people. You really have more time than you think. (See video link of this below.)
      I wouldn't have cut it off if I had all the video haha. My instructor was the one recording my exit from the plane as for your hop n pops and for really all hop n pops you do, you are not actually jumping with other people.

    I did my 1st tandem last month (57 yrs old), & have my 2nd tandem booked for next month. I've already decided to do the AFF next spring (I live in Ontario, Canada). I tried tunnel flying in the spring, & plan on going monthly from Oct to Apr. You go girl!!!

      That is exactly how it started for me!
      I did a tandem and fell in love with it. I did another tandem 2 weeks later and knew that this was something I had to pursue.
      I did a bunch of learning that I could do on my own to learn about the sport in the 9 months I had to wait to take my course.
      Once I started AFF I got my license in about a month. My goal for myself was 100 jumps by the end of my first season and become a coach which I was able to achieve. I also received our DZ’s rookie of the year award. :)
      Definitely do it! It completely changed my life.

      I’m also super glad I did all that extra ground work on my own and looked as much up about it as I could cause my first jump my radio flew off and I had to land by myself. I felt very confident with it which helped me stay calm and get it done. :)

      Reminds me of when I got my motorcycle endorsement.. I knew I wanted to ride so I got the manual from the DMV and studied on my own, took the written and passed, then went and bought a bike with the intent on teaching myself to ride (having never been on one), by that time I knew it like the back of my hand and picked it up easily. I plan to do the same with this and go through AFF next summer. :)

    I have to learn sky dive. Can you explain how much cost to join this course

    • @ChuteHer
      @ChuteHer  3 місяці тому

      For AFF it’s about $3200ish. Of course this could be different based off of what DZ you go to. Some DZs (usually smaller ones) don’t offer AFF and instead do Static Line which is usually cheaper. If you are interested in learning to skydive, I would just contact the nearest DZ to you and get some pricing information from them. 🙂

    Does anyone of you parachute constructors have a little salt in their heads to place the handle for opening the parachute in a normal and accessible place. Shame on your incompetence, both you and whoever gave you to construct the parachutes.
