The spirit issues going from 1-54 where I'm at are real. If you're in my boat, use the umbral aspect so that you can gain spirit while crowd controlling. Hitting packs with vine or even rabies works pretty well. Will try hurricane tonight since I got a +2 to wolf skills while it is active. Pre-50 this build was rough. awesomeness... had this slated as a starter but had to go necro just because every one was so negative against it. Glad some one else seen the potential.
Pre dire wolf and waxing gibbous, the build can struggle with building enough crit chance. Vine creeper +20% crit to things immobilized is a natural synergy especially using the companion reset spirit boon. It works surprisingly often. But you still will need every single crit source you can get (before the getting the axe). Roll crit on rings, gloves, and totem. And potentially use the ravens too for 5% more (and an early vuln source)
Everyone who is saying that Druid only has 1 build is completely delusional. This is like the third or fourth warewolf build that looks like it completely shreds the game (not even counting other wearbear, human, or shape shifting builds). Great build man, can’t wait to try it out
Just moved my pulverize trample druid to this currently lvl 62, and I'm missing the uinques also the helm enchant, but I can say this is so much more fun and still pretty good and fast. Thanks for the build.

Some of the nodes in that lightning cluster work with the lightning splash from shred! Not that it’s needed, but it might be a way to eek out that much more damage
I'm running a similar build, but I use Trample with Hunters Zenith unique ring. Feels OP. Constant Trample resets feels like a mini Rage with the unstoppable and spirit refund.
@@carthh_ I have a feeling if anything gets nerfed it will be the grizzly rage aspect, either they will nerf the crit dmg, or put a lower cap on how high it can stack. Other ults really need a buff though. Would love to mess around with lacerate and cataclysm. But they are just soooooo bad.
I dont have the axe or helm, but this still works very well without it if you already have a good set of legendaries and the aspects to pull them off of. I moved over from the blurred beast (mostly because the playstyle was clunky, but it still did big numbers of poison), and I like this quick pace playstyle. I still find myself being quite spirit starved, but it's manageable with how fast your movement speed gets. I've opted for the crit strikes give movement speed on boots for now.
I’m running blurred beast right now as well and when it works.. oh man.. but holy hell is it the clunkiest feeling playstyle. End up just relying on poison creeper to do most the damage sometimes.
Yeah blurred beat is annoying. I found it worked best by dashing or walking away just to get the dash. Rabies and vine with extended poison duration seemed to help it most because enemies were spread out, but I dislike missing out on the crit vine. Anyway, I wear the same boots and love them.
ive been playing this since beta 25 and havent played anything else, dont test it if you do now have the helmet, if you get the staff your dmg becomes redicolous but without the helmet you wont get cc immune.
Still no luck with the uniques. All thats been dropping is god damn mothers embraces lmao. Still having a great time with the uniqueless version. Thanks for putting together this build. Can't wait to get the uniques.
I have a similar build but haven't found tempest roar yet. My build is for poison until I can find that helmet. I was lucky enough to have found the Great staff of the crone which is super bad ass, if you spec into storm strike just enough to get the passives your claw gets the bonus from both storm strike and claw which means I am poisoning 3 targets with each hit. The thing i really don't like is that poison creeper does way more poison dmg than Rabies so I'm using that to poison groups of enemies instead of rabies. I think rabies needs a dmg rework.
I was running this build when I can't get the shockwave aspect for the pulverize build. Once I killed a mob I just Hold Square(Shred) on the controller and just chill till the end of a dungeon.😂
Move those extra points from Toxic Claws into Bad Omen -> Electric Shock. It combos with Stormclaws aspect, and deal extra damage if you already immobilized enemies with Storm Strike.
@@emptysoul2757 I wrote Storm Strike will immobilize. But the lightning damage multiplier from Electric Shock should apply to the damage done by Stormclaw aspect, judged by the wording. It just says "Lightning damage". But keep in mind Electric Shock is lucky hit based. If you tricker lucky hit, there is a 5% chance for the effect to happen. It means two separate triggers must happen. So it is a very low proc chance. If you don't have a high lucky hit chance, it may be very rare for this effect to happen. But assuming you are playing this build, you should already have high lucky hit chance to proc Calm Before the Storm. But can you ever be really sure, things work the way Blizzard say it does? :-)
Built this spec tonight. I would like a better roll on the werewolf grizzly rage aspect, but I'm gonna test it tomorrow and hope it's more engaging than pulverise Bear
It is. I did the opposite and switched from a mid level version of this build to pulverize because I got the unique for that build. I miss the wolf a lot.
I'm playing a shred build I came up with that just looked fun, but I took Trample which I think is quite fun. I have been able to clear strong holds 5 lvls higher than me so far. I know I'm not running the strongest thing out there, but again it's pretty freaking fun.
Should note that hurricane can also easily poison everything with toxic claws because it becomes a werewolf skill. Hurricane also provides 2 spirit per crit for the same reason.
Got the axe so transitioned from landslide build to this.. as im on console landslide is a little clunky but does hit like a train.. noticing this build going pretty fast and jumping from mob to mob is so fun 😂. Only issue im seeing is single target boss/elites feels so much slower due to less dmg untill i kill a spawned mob. But so far (10 mins) its nice
Quick question… how are you keeping your spirit topped up at all times? I may have missed it but yeah my early werewolf build I’m struggling with spirit management
Another suggestion is to put umbral aspect on your ring and remove damage increased while fortified aspect, this is so every single crowd control you do you gain 4 spirit, it seriously helps with the uptime of using shred. You almost shouldn't be doing anything else, and claw is better than storm strike for pure spirit because it attacks faster.
It doesn’t matter. When hurricane crits it restores 2 spirit. You will stay at max almost all the time. Stronger Bosses can sometimes be a different story
Yeah you should try it with crone and mad wolf I have +9 to claw and +3 to storm strike and my 1 invested Skill point (don’t know if my math is right) that’s 13 points on a basic skill
Why does the build in the Links say Druid lvl 50 ?? Are you updating it ? or not playing this build anymore? Also, anyone have any tips on where to get Waxing Gibbous the fastest?
How is it at pushing nightmare? This looks like a fast gold grinding build but I am not seeing the defense required to push NM like your tornado build.
You can do nightmare dungeons pretty comfortably with this build and it has pretty similar defenses to tornado. But if you're looking to push to the highest possible nightmare dungeons tornado is better
Guys listen, if ypu csnt build out this storm wolf i assure you just regular mele wolf is still mega powerful. Took me a bit of time but im smashing everything eith just some aspects and whatever i find thats good in terms of drops. Pulverize is not the only good wolf/bear build trust me
Build looks awesome. Just wish this game didn’t punish you for leveling with its scaling mechanic. I’m sure if you built this and then got a bunch of levels without upgrading your gear much it would feel just like any other class on any other build. It’s funny how people can play the same builds and have completely different experiences and it all comes down to that relationship between level and your gear level. One minute your strong and an hour later you could be hitting things with pillows
@@carthh_ I really hope it’s something they look at soon. I realize that at higher levels you’ve probably got a lot of gear and all the aspects so it’s mostly min maxing but it’s painful leading up to that. I get items regularly enough from levelling but I’m not getting enough usuable items so I feel like everything just gets harder and slower to kill. I loved the torment system in D3 and how it let you raise the difficulty as you became stronger and more comfortable in your gear. I kinda wish the game used more world tiers the way D3 used torments. I keep reading about people feeling weak while others feel strong and I bet the items they have at the level they’re at is the big difference. It’s kinda taking a lot of fun out of the game hitting these powerslumps so often. I started rushing the main quest cause I was like 41 and just finishing act 2 before realizing that I would probably be in my mid to late 50s opening up WT3 resulting in a sudden scaling spike where I’m still stuck in lvl 40 gear. Hoping to finish the campaign closer to 50 now and hoping for the best
You constantly say there's no where to put points, and I agree, since this has been my main build from the start of the server, you should put the points in "unrestrained" it reduces the duration of control impairing effects by 9% and is tripled if you have fortify over 50% of your life, which you do because grizzly rage has huge fortify gains. It's for the grizzly rage downtime.
how do you recommend to level a druid? pulveriez or werewrolf? do you have a leveling build/guide? also i saw the build in your note, do you have a video of the build without unique item?
i play shred from tier 3, have it much better optimalized, not as aoe aimed like this one, but still its shreding groups, its with better survive and better single target dps for bosses and pvp..love the aspect that i made this build on my own, and no one is playing it, and still much stronger than most of druid builds..
yo carthh how good is a claw build in ur oppinon rn ? that applies storm strike. What would be ur Rankings for the current builds ? Tornado / Shred / Pulverize / Claw ? Id think tornado is the best. All of them seem viable its just sad that 3 of them evolve around tempest roar and i cant manage to get that helmet. But its good to have so much variety so everyone can play depends on their preference and playstyle or can swap between them if u get bored of something. "If u have tempest roar in the first place kek" Edit : i wish there was a poison spread rabies build viable but sadly they nerfed rabies into the ground. Or a companion build 😢
Been running a shred build since I played thier is that one effect that deals 80 dot damage instantly with shred and all you do is rabies or creeper and kills everything in 1 shot
Just wondering im a bit confused. Still new. The perks on the legendary can be extracted right? Meaning lets say if i get a very good perk on my level 40 boots then i want to put it in my level 60 boots. Thts okay? But item level will be low right since its extracted from a lower level gear
So what’s the short answer as far as how you run this if you have everything but the tempest roar? Is it a one item swap and some skill changes? I’d really like to run it until the helm drops
Paragon board seems to be a bit rough, a lot of higher nodes require 500-700 stat which is mostly not possible. Have you made any changes to the paragon board?

Yeah blurred beat is annoying. I found it worked best by dashing or walking away just to get the dash. Rabies and vine with extended poison duration seemed to help it most because enemies were spread out, but I dislike missing out on the crit vine. Anyway, I wear the same boots and love them.
Wow this looks fun. Ty for being the main druid content creator out there.
ive been playing this since beta 25 and havent played anything else, dont test it if you do now have the helmet, if you get the staff your dmg becomes redicolous but without the helmet you wont get cc immune.
@@SlaughtingIdiots So it doesn't work without the helm? He says it works fine.
Still no luck with the uniques. All thats been dropping is god damn mothers embraces lmao. Still having a great time with the uniqueless version. Thanks for putting together this build. Can't wait to get the uniques.
So many Druid builds that are good I’m so glad I chose this class rofl
Does it matter what your gear is pre-uniques or are there affixes or anything we should be shooting for at all?
I have a similar build but haven't found tempest roar yet. My build is for poison until I can find that helmet. I was lucky enough to have found the Great staff of the crone which is super bad ass, if you spec into storm strike just enough to get the passives your claw gets the bonus from both storm strike and claw which means I am poisoning 3 targets with each hit. The thing i really don't like is that poison creeper does way more poison dmg than Rabies so I'm using that to poison groups of enemies instead of rabies. I think rabies needs a dmg rework.
Thanks for this build. I've been using your Tornado build for awhile but it's getting pretty bland...this looks more fun!
Finally got all the unqiues...great build
I was running this build when I can't get the shockwave aspect for the pulverize build. Once I killed a mob I just Hold Square(Shred) on the controller and just chill till the end of a dungeon.😂
Move those extra points from Toxic Claws into Bad Omen -> Electric Shock. It combos with Stormclaws aspect, and deal extra damage if you already immobilized enemies with Storm Strike.
You sure? I never see shred immobilize (lightning damage from stormclaw) anyone
Sweet build man. I love Shred and don’t ever want to get rid of it.
I'm playing a shred build I came up with that just looked fun, but I took Trample which I think is quite fun. I have been able to clear strong holds 5 lvls higher than me so far. I know I'm not running the strongest thing out there, but again it's pretty freaking fun.
@@blowfrost5805 Look at your skill tree man.
This was great gained a new sub from me
Your missing like 21 paragon points to put out, any tips on where to put them ?
Are all the uniques findable in World Tier 3? I know some uniques only drop in WT4, but I haven’t found any info one which ones.
Love this built would you recommend Shred Hurricane or Tornado Built for end game?
Quick question… how are you keeping your spirit topped up at all times? I may have missed it but yeah my early werewolf build I’m struggling with spirit management
Am I an idiot? I didn't see the skill build mentioned at 2:45 for those without the unique items.
I didn't either
I have tried waxing gibbous but it seemed like the guaranteed crit disappear after 1 attack?
Now that's a werewolf build!
Thx for the detail man.....everyone says the meta build and never tell you how to get there and the fact its unplayable without having the unique.
what vampire skills you use for this build?
Well have been playing my 100 HC rogue and didn't know what to play next....
Hairy rogue here we come.
Hairy rogue 🤣
Where does he talk about what to use when levelling and you don't have the unique for guaranteed crits and aoe clear?
This looks insanely fun
thx a lot whit this perfekt build m8 it really help me :)
Do you think a WW barb with max movement speed would be better/faster for farming matz and and gold?
Subbed. Great content
If you run toxic claws with tempest roar and hurricane, I wonder if this build could benefit from the blurred beast aspect.
i cant get dire wolf to drop for the love of me, and tempest helm, should i still run the grizzly ultimate?
This might help me out of my poison shred rut in tier 3
Another suggestion is to put umbral aspect on your ring and remove damage increased while fortified aspect, this is so every single crowd control you do you gain 4 spirit, it seriously helps with the uptime of using shred. You almost shouldn't be doing anything else, and claw is better than storm strike for pure spirit because it attacks faster.
It doesn’t matter. When hurricane crits it restores 2 spirit. You will stay at max almost all the time. Stronger Bosses can sometimes be a different story
With the druid loot table being bugged atm, does this work at all withotu the helmet? it's so hard to get i keep getting barb items
Awesome info. I’ve been running the storm wolf build with great staff crone and claw in Lew of storm strike any thoughts? Thanks
I've seen some people say they like the crone staff with the build, sounds interesting!
What build do you recommend to level with?
Where did you talk about doing this build early??
Yeah especially if you aren't getting aspects you need for power spikes it can be rough
Hey, thanks for the guide. I have a small question, why didn't you make a socket in a weapon and what gem would you recommend to put in?
I forgot to socket it, critical strike damage to vulnerable enemies
got everything for this build what helm do you use though the buildguide still shows tempest roar
Does aspect of the blurred beast not add anything to this build?
Sadly, this build doesn't work with controller play, as you cannot control where you move well after the first strike.
Just close your eyes and hope for the best!
It's for the grizzly rage downtime.
how do you recommend to level a druid? pulveriez or werewrolf?
do you have a leveling build/guide?
also i saw the build in your note, do you have a video of the build without unique item?
ua-cam.com/video/-qw7Y2cvz8w/v-deo.html
Is it just me or did he never talk about the alternate skills if you dont have the uniques? Or anyone got timestamps?
No the alternate build wasn’t mentioned. I made the bill without and it’s not great. Hopefully I get a unique soon.
i play shred from tier 3, have it much better optimalized, not as aoe aimed like this one, but still its shreding groups, its with better survive and better single target dps for bosses and pvp..love the aspect that i made this build on my own, and no one is playing it, and still much stronger than most of druid builds..
yo carthh how good is a claw build in ur oppinon rn ? that applies storm strike.
Been running a shred build since I played thier is that one effect that deals 80 dot damage instantly with shred and all you do is rabies or creeper and kills everything in 1 shot
with which skill you apply poison. I could not find
Just wondering im a bit confused. Still new. The perks on the legendary can be extracted right? Meaning lets say if i get a very good perk on my level 40 boots then i want to put it in my level 60 boots. Thts okay? But item level will be low right since its extracted from a lower level gear
Yes you can extract a low level legendary power and put it on your high level gear
@Carthh I see but the power item level will b low inpresume?
Can this build push high nightmare dungeons pass enemies that are level 100?
What are your thoughts about incorporating Mad Wolf's Glee into the build?
Definitely a solid choice if you're looking for more damage
So what’s the short answer as far as how you run this if you have everything but the tempest roar? Is it a one item swap and some skill changes? I’d really like to run it until the helm drops
Yeah you can just put the dark howl aspect on your helm and you run claw instead of stormstrike and debilitating roar instead of hurricane
Cool lvl 100 demonstration. Can you level with this?
Depends on what levels, early game it doesn't feel great, but once you have the build setup it's very fast leveling
Paragon board seems to be a bit rough, a lot of higher nodes require 500-700 stat which is mostly not possible. Have you made any changes to the paragon board?
