Feeling the Wind in Your Hair on a Blustery Hilltop
Don't you just love it when the wind blows your hat off? Don't you just love the wind blowing through your hair? Don't you just love looking down on the world and seeing the trees waving around like blades of grass in the wind.
I found myself on the top of this hillside looking down on Wotton-Under-Edge so called referring to the limestone escarpment of the Cotswolds Edge (thank you Wikipedia). I am always concerned that vistas that amaze the naked eye look less immense when seen in a film or a photograph, but this video is one of my outliers. Not much walking. Just standing and trying not to be blown over.
It's a bit of a climb (or a steep walk) to get up here. The sound of the wind in the original was deafening. I have taken it down a notch but left in the banging bluster because... It would be weird to lose it completely.

I love the path to the top of the hill. The views are incredible, looking down upon the fields below. You were able to capture some amazing clouds and wonderful sky. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful place. 🍁😊

Thank you very much for saying so. It was such a blustery day and I couldn't film the entire walk because it was more of a climb than I had expected it to be and the camera was all over the place. The idea was to go up the hill filming all the way and finish with the view. In the end, it was only the view from the hill that was any good. Very loud though. I had to take the sound level to minus 16.
