  • The flames bring warmth to a cold dark night. But they also speak a language of their own. Something primal and unknowable. The elemental quality of this amazing force controlled by experts but still wild as all fire must be.
November brings the scent of burning wood to the countryside. Most houses with log fires giving the night air a special aroma that makes us long for mulled wine and mince pies.
The first step to Christmas is that late bonfire.

Thank you very much. Yes... It was part of the same event. When I was a child, this was the biggest event of the year. There is something about the idea of a group of people, maybe strangers, gathering around a large bonfire that makes us feel closer. Thank you very much for watching and commenting.

This was a beautiful fire. I looks like it must have been quite large. Fire has such a beauty to it, as it swirls around and grows in intensity. I enjoyed the music that you added. I hope that have had a nice weekend.

I am amazed and fascinated by fire. As with water, it just holds me at a primal level. I can stare deep into the myriad colours of the flames (colours that I have not often seen represented in video form because the textures get lost). I edited around the brightest moments as much as possible so you can see the deeper tones as the rich dark colours appear within the smoke. Thank you for watching and commenting. Many videos get lost because as youtube grows exponentially, it becomes harder to find anything. I am currently in catch up mode myself. So thanks again.
