D'ANGELO 2012.01.29 LE ZENITH, PARIS - DEVIL'S PIE / CHICKEN GREASE

After a lengthy absence from stage, D'Angelo gives an outstanding performance at Lé Zenith in Paris, the third show of the short but highly successful eleven date long European tour. One of the most rocking out moments of the tour is an electrifying medley that includes both full version of the 'Devil's Pie' and 'Chicken Grease'.
This multicam film, originally began just as an experiment in an attempt to visually capture the vibe and the intensity of D'Angelo's rare comeback performace, was made possible by the countless footage posted on UA-cam, so besides D'Angelo and his band, an overwhelmingly big thanks goes to all the filmers' excellent work, without whom this clip would not be what it is.
