Yeah, it's a cool design without going too crazy like some of the crazier models on the market. The price is a bit high for me personally, but I still appreciate it for what it is.
@@JustBlueFish They range from £15 to £30 on Chrono, less that twenty seems reasonable especially as it doesn't really scratch, the straps aren't first class either imho.
What a brilliant take on the wrist watch! Like you Guy I very much doubt I'd have the finances to make a purchase but I really appreciate the design and engineering behind this watch. At a guess I'd say it's some sort of modular construction with the dial complications module (oil tight) driven from the minute pinion of the 2824 base. I like the quirky setting using the case back but that could prove interesting in life on the wrist. Being oil filled it should also read perfectly underwater without the 'bubble' reflections on normal divers when the eye is not perpendicular to the dial but I guess depth would be compromised by the rotating case back. Oh and one final thought, I wonder what are the oil change intervals are during servicing.
This Ressence is both technically and aesthetically interesting and I’m glad it exists for well off collectors to enjoy. Also makes more sense to spend this kind of money on a truly innovative offer rather than on a bog standard turquoise dial Rolex OP But even money non object, I would be really worried about reliability and ease of maintenance for such a complex watch, unless it becoming a safe queen only worn twice a year to flex at the local Red Bar GTG.
Well that is interesting! I like it although my collections just not ready for something like that yet… Thanks for putting it on the radar! I always enjoy the channel!
Now that is an interesting timepiece! Although it's out of my budget and not exactly my thing, i have to admit that, besides a clever engineering, this is interesting looking watch! Thank You!
Nice review and explanation of the watch Guy. I give Ressence credit for originality but that watch costs more than my VC Overseas dual time. Too quirky for me and my money. Still great to see more reviews of watches from Exquisite Timepieces though. Looking forward to your next review.
I know its luxury segment for a purpose its caters to very niche customers with massive purse, but to be honest prices are just pure madness. Thxs for showcasing something different but it looks like a smartwatch.
1:32 Why does everyone keep making the same type of mistake 😭 The watch is filled with 3.75 mL of oil, it can't contain 35 mL or 37.5 mL of oil, the entire watch volume is less than 32 mL...

Operating temperature is 10-40 degrees celsius as indicated on the caseback :).
shhhhhhhhh, pretend you didn't see it like I didn't see it so I don't feel so bad please.
@@JustBlueFish ...see what? What are you talking about?
@@jeremy8891 see what? The 10-40 degrees celsius operating temperature. He just missed it, thats what he is talking about.
@@Watchmade they are joking about it.
Such a unique piece. I’ve been drooling over these for quite some time. If I had that kind of money to spend on a watch, THIS would be it!
These regulators are the only "out there" design I like, the dive watch version makes even more sense with the refraction index. Also First!

Incredible piece, innovative and attractive design. Very envious of you getting hands on with this!

Absolutely love it, amazing.... beyond my budget unfortunately.
Thanks for showing us Guy, much appreciated 👍🏻👍🏻

I wouldn’t be surprised if they haven’t sold a single watch…not anywhere near MSRP anyway.
U boat does a similar looking oil filled watch at a fraction of the price and looks far better, IMHO.
I'll. CK it out Thanks ,👊

Why is it oil filled? To resist water pressure?
They don't make a type 4??

Wow! That’s very cool.
I love it
Thanks !
Not for me….at all…looks like a iPhone watch…great content tho…
yeah it's for sure not going to be for everyone. I kind of like it though.
Not for me at all but the price is shocking. However, it is fun to look at weird stuff without having to buy it.
i love it is very different.... but the price a big ouch.... cheers
It does nothing for me, especially since it cost $40k. Looks like a cheap digital watch
Looks like a ladybird
