this is excellent Paul! brilliant to see this work in full display for analysation. It sounds incredible even for the new Musescore sounds. Is this score available somewhere ?
I have been working on this cue for years, but I had a lot of help from www.youtube.com/@5mirablue and his score ua-cam.com/video/T7jo222w82Y/v-deo.html. It was mostly a process of comparison, editing and adding to the version I created a while ago. Thanks!
@@paulalcazar Sounds really good! If you want the musescore file from that vid, I'd be happy to send it, although some stuff is omitted in my score, like that monochord at the beginning that you used a dulcimer for.
@@LightProgRock Hopefully with time, more instruments and techniques will be added. I've done some LOTR, myself, and Howard Shore uses a lot of choral "oh/mm/oo" vowels, stopped horns, muted brass, and microtones, which unfortunately Muse Sounds doesn't include yet. That being said, you can relatively easily use some VST sounds. I, personally, use spitfire labs since it includes certain sounds I need.
So job, so good.💪🏻
Wow you are really getting max from the MuseScore! sounds great
So nice 💛
Nice! ❤
Excelente trabajo!! muchas gracias por compartirlo! Saludos desde Argentina!
Thank you!
Well done!
Thank you for this video. Now, I now that musescore 4 is one of the beter software to make music.
How long did it take to recreate the score in musescore? Amazing work. Also is doing transcription by ear the main way you learn to compose?

I'd like to see the score from some of the Hitchcock films, especially the love scene score from Vertigo ❤️

where did you get the score from?
Wow ! Did you use Muse Sounds or some plugins ? It sounds fantastic !
Thanks! Only Muse Sounds.
@@paulalcazar Well this is encouraging. It’s a shame so many instruments are missing, but I’ll definitely use it for my mockups now

What are those big waves in the first few measures midway down the score?
Those are glissandi :)
@@paulalcazar What instrument? (It's too blurry to read.)
Dulcimer
Check out this score from the first act of The Fellowship of the Ring, transcribed by @5mirablue: ua-cam.com/video/T7jo222w82Y/v-deo.html. Thanks!
Hi Paul - I'd like the score to this please if you are happy to share it? However, I can not find your email address?
Just a heads up, giving away, let alone earning money with unauthorized arrangements, takedowns, transcriptions and covers is against the copyright.
