Red Dead Redemption 2 is a 2018 action-adventure game developed and published by Rockstar Games. The game is the third entry in the Red Dead series and a prequel to the 2010 game Red Dead Redemption. The story is set in a fictionalized representation of the United States in 1899 and follows the exploits of outlaw Arthur Morgan, a member of the Van der Linde gang, who must deal with the decline of the Wild West whilst attempting to survive against government forces, rival gangs, and other adversaries. The game is presented through first- and third-person perspectives, and the player may freely roam in its interactive open world. Gameplay elements include shootouts, robberies, hunting, horseback riding, interacting with non-player characters, and maintaining the character's honor rating through moral choices and deeds. A bounty system governs the response of law enforcement and bounty hunters to crimes committed by the player.

fun fact Charles is the only person to say “Oh, Arthur” in the game and NOT have Arthur scold him for it
You can see the type of loyalty Arthur and John had for Dutch vs the blind loyalty Bill and Javier have for him
One of my fav moments from this game is the sequence when you are all riding down to Cornwall Oil is so badass. Sadie, John and Charles sticking with Team Arthur. Shooting from the horses. The Music! So cool.

1:38 is one of my favorite parts in the whole game. When Charles says "We're riding with you" and then the music goes up with the full Native chanting...

Its probably just me but seeing Arthur flinch after Dutch shot at 1:45:32 show how much Arthur thinks that Dutch gonna stab them in the back at any moment

Arthur and John are the two quickest guns in the west! I would have loved to see that.
Eagle Flies death was sad because it was so pointless.

Soul killing to think that Dutch could have prevented the death of Eagle Flies had he not walked away
On my 3rd playthrough and Charles is by far my 2nd favorite character. His beliefs and work ethics are amazing. Also, 3rd playthrough and not one mission given from the railroad camp.
I love your playing style Cambonano. It’s really intriguing makes me wanna go back and play this again.
She is the only RDR2 streamer I watch.

Its interesting in the mission were Arthur saves Eagle Flys Charles says that Arthur still has time to make amends and says "my guess that is why you are here now". High honour Arthur says nothing But low Honour Arthur Replies "I am Here cause need to keep Dutch on side so i can find out were that money is hidden". I love how Arthurs Chracter Devlopment really changes based on how you act in the world.
Roger Clark said in a panel one time some of the hardest performance capture for Arthur was the coughing and wheezing and laboured breathing he did as Arthur's disease progressed.
At the end, I don't think you noticed, but the "gang" share (Dutch) got $6000 while Arthur got $0.... 😬
@RedDeadNotoriousPlayer yeaahhhh I don't think Arthur would care anyway at this point, but it just cements the whole Dutch doesn't care about Arthur anymore feeling (if leaving him to die wasn't obvious enough 😔)

The pause was very justified. Thank you for this playthrough, it's been a gift to watch. I've done probably a dozen playthroughs and my heart breaks every time I get to this point.
Next time someone is trying to rob you and steal Quinoa: let them and see how she'll react when you whistle for her. (Or any horse as long as you have max bonding with it)

1:45:46 it’s always so infuriating hearing Dutch say “a little help” as if Arthur isn’t one of the people in the gang that does almost everything, and is trying his hardest to keep things from getting worse.
Sometimes I like to think about how much happier things would be if Arthur was the leader of the gang, but unfortunately I don’t think the game would be nearly as good and exciting if that were the case. Dutch is horrible at being a leader. For most of the game Dutch rarely ever leaves the camp or takes any real initiative, in my opinion that’s not what a good leader is supposed to be like.
While helping Eagle Flies escape from the fort, the lightning in the background sky is incredible. Something you don't notice as much while you're busy playing.
Charles is in the background for a good chunk of the game but he becomes more prominent here towards the end. He's a good egg

The painting at windows rock is a clue to another mystery for you to find.. the game has many I am 350 hours in and still find new things to do and explore ..

1:27:59 Just a Tip: To find any Trapper Clothing like Legendary Moose Hunting Jacket you crafted, instead of “Owned Coats”, press R1 to show “Crafted Coats” and you’ll see it there. It’s also the same for Trapper Hats, Boots etc.
1:56:32 Awww, love that hug Charles gave Arthur, think aside from Mickey in Valentine, it’s the only hug he’s gotten in the game 🤧😭😭😭.
1:58:07 That was the German Man , his Wife & Family you met end of Chapter 2. Arthur rescued him at what become Clemens Point camp and he gave Arthur a gold nugget as a reward.
1:59:40 Yeah, Butcher Creek mission will show up again under “OH” marker on the map, there’s a few more missions left in that quest line and will answer one of the mysteries you stumbled across last video or the one before that, may take a few in game days to show up and might be a night mission too from memory.
I see the “TO BE CONTINUED” at the end there, can’t wait for the next part 😊!

From Dutch walking out on Arthur, his 'son', to losing Eagle Flies as a consequence of further betrayal. Saying what is essentially 'good-bye' to Charles and Arthur having a TB episode in the middle of nowhere....ugh. 😭 I'd like to say there's still a bit of positivity left in Arthur's story, at this point, but unfortunately, the wheels are falling off, and the gang is headed for a cliff..(literally and figuratively)
It hits the hardest from here out (which at this point you've likely experienced) and I'm looking forward to this stories culmination with you. It's been a pretty fun ride-along. 🙂

The painting on the wall that is drawn in the journal is actually the solution to solve the ‘strange statue’ mystery in a cave nearby

Thank you C. - In a way, I understand what Dutch is aiming for with his "plan". To raise as much confusion and chaos as possible in the region, so that the army and the lawmen would not pay attention to the gang and they, or he, could finally escape unnoticed. He just doesn't seem to care anymore about innocent bystanders, or even some of the gang members, but executes his plan brutally by sacrificing people.

Hi Cam, I believe if you pull up your log with the D pad, there is a section for Legendary animals, and will show you what has been done. Or check your animal Compendium. I can not remember if you got the horse meal pamphlet from Kieran, if not you can get one from St. Denis Fence. This will give your horse fortified cores ( only thing you need to feed your horse ), you will need beets, hay ( from stables ) and currants ( anywhere north of Fort Brennand and east of O'Creagh's Run ). There are many other useful pamphlets around the map. Like, the south end of Wapiti reservation ( foot bridge near broken cabin ), or The Mysterious Hill House ( by the broken wagon ), or Copperhead landing ( broken cabin ), or in a tree trunk ( just south of the house at Hill Haven Ranch, very close to where you got the legendary fox ), or beside the M in leMoyne. I tell you these so you can collect them when you are in these area's ( again ). When you cook Big Game Meat, Wild Mint and Creeping Thyme are the best to use ( health and dead eye ) to fortify your most important cores. At 19:30, you found a clue to a puzzle, hidden in a cave a little north of the Mysterious Hill House ( this is a Prime location ). At 22:32, you can explore behind the waterfall. There is also another legendary animal, just north of the A in BluewAter. And another one a little further north ( just north of the stranger mission you found ( you got a prompt at 1:19:54. Oh, you noticed this at the end of this episode ). At 1:19:30 you missed a lock box right under the dead log. I loved how worked up you got in this episode. It shows how immersed and invested you are.

The first time i played were riding with you mission i heard the music and teared up because it gave me foashbacks of old Western movies
If u want to procrastinate before end of the story here's a non spoilery list of directions (just some really cool and weird things u can find):
- Above Emerald Ranch (on the other side of the train tracks) there's a small lake with a cabin right next to it. You should try investigating it AFTER 2AM. (not sure if u found this one)
- West from Van Horn on the other side of the train tracks there's an abandoned house. See if u can figure out how to get to the top floor
- After studying at least 30 different animals you should go to the Wapiti Indian Reservation (top of the map). Sometimes when you cross the small bridge a huge flock of birds will take off from the shore. Follow them and they will lead you to a secret cave.
- Look for West Elizabeth on the map. North West from the word "West" there's a cave you can explore. There's someone waiting there for you.
We dont see many people talk about this scene in "Best of RDR2" videos, but the good guys of the gang riding down that hill, guns blazing, is one of the most epic scenes in gaming history.
I still remember the first time I played it, I got up from the couch and was screaming while shooting as many soldiers as possible. This mission was the definition of an emotional rollercoaster.

Can you do the stranger mission at wildards rest? It’s at the top right of the map! You wanna complete all related missions to that before completing the main story! I’ve been enjoying your videos❤️
It’s like mafia or gangster in general the main guy wants loyal although from his ppl but he would kill them in a heartbeat. That’s how all mafia crews got taken down power trip, money hungry, or backstabbing each other.

hi cambonano, theres a really cool cave really close to hanging dog ranch, its straight west of it just follow the map border and find the hidden path
I think the final straw came for me a lot sooner, but this should have been the final straw for Arthur.

the next time you're separated from your horse, try setting up camp. same for when your on an island. it will set your camp on mainland and your horse should be there with you.

You can actually complete the rail road quest by killing the men before he even tells you to but you miss the cool duel.
I finished this game twice and i never came across these railroad people, thats crazy how much content this game has

For the love of god - don't do the veteran mission until you complete next Story mission. Trust me - you wont regret this choice.

Relax lol, Cam already knows to leave the Veteran Mission til “next chapter”, she said as much after completing Veteran III mission (Wolf hunting).
@@BP__15 I genuinely think that the veteran mission works any way you play it. Play it long before the end of chapter 6, play it right before the end of chapter 6, play it in the next chapter...
Narratively, it works in all three situations, with different flavours.

I agree it can work any type of way as have done so on many playthroughs but my personal preference is to wait to next chapter for reasons that I won’t divulge cause of spoilers but it’s up to Cam either way, I don’t mind as it’s her 1st playthrough. All I was replying here is what Cam already said after she finished Veteran III that she’ll wait to next chapter to do it.

1:39:39 This is why I personally think the first repeater rifle you get in Colter is actually the best one; it has a tubular magazine instead of a breach you load bullets into one by one. With the Lancaster, you can get into this loop of only reloading 2 bullets at a time (which is probably better than sitting there waiting to fully reload it tbh).
The 'Strange Statue' painting relates to something you haven't come across yet. You might have been able to join your horse after by 'Setting Up Camp', it won't work if too far away and it found you anyway's so no worries. Cheers.

I don’t know if you’ve done it already but you should carry clothes for colder weather in case you go to a colder area you can just switch your outfit.
Rockstar is currently in the process of creating a game update and I believe that the clothing bug, among other bugs, will be fixed when the official update is released.

the drawing on the wall at window rock can help you with a solution to a puzzle in one of the caves that has statues
