Holding Absence really hits a sweet spot for me when I don't feel like listening to really heavy music, but saying that I'm hyped for the next track that's probably going to be Alpha Wolf feat. Lucas seeing as Aching Longing was Holding Absence feat. Loche 😁
The EP is just a weird hybrid. The split ep is 1 HA, 1 HA featuring AW, 1 AW and 1 AW with HA. The sounds wont “mix” per say same as when the Loathe/HA split ep was just complete tonal whiplash without synergy, gonna be 4 great songs that are completely unique from one another
When was Holding Absence and Alpha Wolf in the same room together to go "Hey... You wanna do a split EP sometime?" Lol it seems SO random.. But I love it so far.
My intro to them was Afterlife, and I dug that a whole lot. And this is just….. I really, really enjoy this band. This feels like it would have blown up in the 00’s and I mean that in the best way possible
fantastic reaction hard core this song by holding absence was absolutely amazing the music video was beautifully shot & lucas woodland's vocals were soaring & beautiful loved your reactions keep them coming.😀🤘🔥
Lucas is such a gorgeous vocalist in every aspect
Dude is as gorgeous as his voice
@@bibe6908 exactly what i meant haha
Lucas, for me, is the best vocalist in the scene at this point. A recognizable distinct voice with insane range and emotion behind it.
It’s a split EP - 4 tracks, 2 from each band. Aching Longing featured Lochie, so we know the final track to release will be Alpha Wolf feat Lucas.
My body is ready.
@@francescoberra246 my body wasn’t ready

the loathe/HA split was goated tho, not much synergy I agree, but four of the best songs of either bands discographies
@@atomictoaster8013 agreed, theres a reason Loathe play White Hot at every show
@@SeelsOfElation and it’s the best song at every gig
They've done a split EP before woth Loathe in 2018 called This is as One. BAAAANGER of an EP
I've never heard of Holding Absence before this EP but I can say that these bands are polar opposites of each other and yet are working on an EP

Summer sadness continues! Movements, grayscale and holding absence do it wonderfully.
