I wish you would make a list of books and authors that you say you loved, I can’t always hear clearly , or don’t seem to be able to catch the title and author of the books that aren’t the book of the month, but one your are raving about…..and why you loved it!! We love to read or we wouldn’t be watching…..don’t dangle a great book in front of us and then no way to find it!! Thanks for doing this, really enjoy your mother-daughter inter action….wish you success and great health!

Yes, the storms here in NC were very destructive. Many ppl and nature animals have lost their lives, homes, and towns. The landscape and beauty of our mountains is devastating. This time of yr lots of ppl travel to the mtns to view the changing of the autumn foliage. This year, they are going to help rebuild lives, homestead, and restore nature. I hear that a group named Samaritan's purse are taking donations. I am unable to travel. I plan to donate. May God bless the World, Amen.
Recommendation for December's book- Christmas at the Cat Cafe by Jessica Redland. It is a festive romance but does not follow any of the usual holiday romance tropes, there is a mystery storyline in it and has brilliant chronic illness representation.
Recently retired and planned to read...oh well, I love that you guys are doing this blog and you are inspiring me to read! I quilt and dont read gonna have to try audio
I love thriller and true crime. I'm currently reading The Ella Dark Series by Blake Pierce. She has a LOT of different series. The 2 I have started reading are both about FBI agents and the cases they work. I really like her writing style. I also love Dean Koontz although I haven't read one of his books in a while. He has a book named Intensity and I always tell people that it lives up to the title.
I've read the Pumpkin Spice Cafe and the Cinnamon Bun Bookstore. The second is about Hazel. The Christmas Tree Farm is about Jeanie's brother. I didn't have a map in my version of the first two books, but I have on in my copy of the Christmas Tree Farm, which I'm waiting to read until Christmas.
I really wish I could picture things in my mind the way most people do. I feel like I would get so much more out of reading if I could, especially for certain genres. My favorite genres though are mystery/thriller and memoirs. Definitely not into romance and not really fantasy either.
If anyone would like to read the book and isn’t able to afford it I’ll send you mine I just bought after I read it then you may send it to the next person is all I ask so everyone that would like to can read it and participate in book club. Let me know who I may send it to. I’ll find a way to communicate and get it sent to you 🥰

Just started to read this book

A great book if you haven’t read it is “A Man Called Otto”. A SWEDISH BOOK translated in English. Also movie but read book first. 🥰
Im working healing a right torn rotator cuff October 2024; after total knee replacement March 2024. This year has sucked..I’m from Arkansas, age 69.
