I am soooooo glad to see that she actually did a trim and not a cut.... 😍gorgeous and healthy hair
+sonja harris
Me too !
I am sooooo glad, too !
That was barely BARELY a trim lol, I'm glad she didn't cut it but she certainly didn't trim enough, she didn't even take off a full inch lol
She didnt go crazy with it. Just enough. Im learning as I watch lol
Me too. Sometimes I click off because 4 inch cut is not a trim.
She needs a cut though. Her ends are dead!🤦🏻♀️
Nice job...nice simple trim...that is how I would like my stylist to trim my hair...nothing more unless necessary...
I love your trim not over cutting her beautiful hair 😍
Thankyou 😊💜💜💜
I wonder why folks can't just watch a dern video and appreciate the stylists techniques or not question why the client didn't want more or less of their OWN hair cut off? If you don't have anything nice to say just KEEP IT TO YOURSELF! Geesh!
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 well said.
She’s got beautiful skin too..
I think more of the ends could have come off, but I understand stylists have to respect the client’s wishes.
cellyjohnson I appreciate the response 😊 I only trim what the clients desires. Due to the growth, her custom regimen is showing great results👌🏾💜.
To cut MORE off, would have been WRONG !
The stylist did a great job !
Karma Sutra nah I think more could have came off too, her ends still looked a little see thru. But I understand why she didn’t cut more..
Sabrina Rochell right. You can literally look at the hair and still see the splits.

Nah!
What you are calling "split ends" are NOT!
Hair does NOT grow out evenly while coming from all sides.
Those "ends" indicate that the hair strands are each "growing-at-different-speeds".
**********
Also,...what you mistook as "split ends" are really the "strong, breathing-shorter-hairs-racing-to-
catch-up-with-the-longer-hair".
That's all!
***********
Hair "should NOT-be-straightened-to-the-very-
end", because to do so "prevents-the-hair-from-breathing".
************
Those wild-looking. uneven "ends" are like the antennae of certain plants,....and/or the gills of certain fish which is needed to bring in oxygen.
Lack of oxygen kills all living things.
These videos are so satisfying to watch. 🥰
✨❤️🥰
Now that’s how you trim hair!!!!!
Oh I definitely would’ve wanted a little more taken off, but I know a lot of people freak out about that. I usually end up taking at least an inch off when I trim my own hair, so I never fight with my stylists over what they cut lol
Her hair came out so pretty. I just discovered your channel yesterday and glad I did. 😊
N & M W Thankyou so much for watching 😊💜
You did a great job.
This is such great work and the music on this channel is bomb.
Thankyou ❤️❤️❤️
A little bit more off the ends was needed. They still look a bit rough but she has beautiful hair and a lovely face too. God bless.
Thankyou for watching 😊👌🏾
Maybe the client didnt want her ends cut too shorts thats deff a thought
Go head on Krissypooh with that left hand looks great
Thankyou ☺️✨❤️
Glad you didn’t cut her length off. It so disappointing when you grow your hair out, sit in a stylist chair and get up with 6 inches cut😩
But it's more disappointing all that work done and still hv bad ends just because you're stuck to ugly 'long' hair.
Wow she has beautiful hair
☺️❤️
Excellent job!!! 💇🏽♀️💕
Beautiful transformation
Thankyou 😊❤️
Her hair is beautiful
I am a person who always gets scissor happy with her own hair, so i would probably be like: can you cut the bleached ends off ☺️
Yep, ain’t nothing like healthy fresh bouncy curls 😍
Damn some time no matter how smooth u get it it's still dry as hell that's when u need to to a good deep condionting treatment
Finally black hair asmr. No sound, combing hair equals tingles. When that hot comb comes out it hurts(PTSD is real), but then it's gone and I can relax again.😁👍
So nice to finally see a video end without all those ridiculous curls everywhere. Well done.
Do you know what her regimen is? And how long was it from the before and after photos? That’s great retention!
Her mom brings her in about every 3 weeks, if she’s not wearing crochet hairstyles. I install the crochet. And when it’s time to trim we trim. Her mom puts the regimen in my hands lol. I say as long as you have a good shampoo, conditioner; deep conditioning your hair a least once a week, biweekly or once a month, low manipulation, and most importantly trimming your hair at most every 3 months, you should see a difference. You also can do all your treatments( clay mask, deep condition, protein treat, and steam) once a month if you want to simplify it😊. She’s been coming to me for a year and a half.
And it’s gotten “super” thick too
@@KrissypooHairView yaaaas, love this answer because I was going to ask the exact question.
Beautiful girl with beautiful glossy hair ❤️ great work.
Your clients hair came out beautifully. New subscriber here.
Thankyou Sooo Much ☺️💜💜💜💜
So beautiful, it's like magic!
I was surprised to see no curls at the end. Client 1, Viewer 0. LOL
She didn’t want curls but Thankyou so much for Viewing my video 😊❤️
@@KrissypooHairView ive watched lots osvthese videos and I can never understand why they nearly sll have curls put in after having the original curls taken out, youd think they would crave silky straight hair
Beautiful...nice trim w/o the butcher!!!
Beautiful work!
MzChaos907 Thankyou 😊❤️
My sister good bless you 🇹🇿🇹🇿🇹🇿🙏
Great hair 🤷🏽♀️and great finish 👏🏽👏🏽
Thankyou 😊❤️❤️❤️
Great trim but the press itself looked heavy & not silky or airy enough.
eforward1 Thankyou 😊❤️
Yup. The press could be more silky
Silk press destroy hair shaft Wich leads to dryness and breakage and later you will need a big chop
@@lyndjidjoye8742 the method that we’re doing on her hair has been work for going on 3 years now, so we haven’t big chopped 🤷🏾♀️
Beautiful job. Love the trim. Good job.
I'll wait another year to see if my hair has grown to that length
🙌 you did a brilliant job 👌❤

Oh I just found your channel
Thankyou for Coming ☺️❤️✨
Wow I need you to do my daughter’s hair she has hair just like that and the same length where are you I’m in Palm Beach Florida help!!!!
I’m in Louisiana
For good hair growth how often should I be trimming my hair? I tend to let it go until I can no longer comb through it without tangles at the ends. I’m one of those women where I put myself on the back burner, I’m happiest taking care of my family
If you mostly wear your hair in natural state, I recommend trimming at the latest every 3months. Being consistent with it will make the most difference too and you should be good 😊
Great video! Question: is it possible to grow and retain length with highlighted/bleached hair?
Yes, but make sure you get it professionally done and maintain moisture in your hair because the hair becomes weaker the further it grows from the scalp. Also get trimmed at the most every 3 months
Anyone noticed her scalp color? Is it normal to have a light scalp with darker skin or is it the lighting?
Yes it's normal. Her scalp isn't getting direct sunlight, so it can't get darker like the rest of her skin. She probably lives in a sunny area.
Still seeing split ends...its glaring!
Nice! Any recommendations for dry damaged hair and also falling hair.
Email me about your journey and if you’ve been taking any medications and I can help you 😊❤️ krissypoonaturalhairview@gmail.com
Stop manipulating it, especially if it is 4b or c. That type of hair does well with finger detailing, limited to no manipulation and oil!!! Experience
@@truartist5379 Sometimes manipulation isn’t the only reason for damage and shedding. And honestly even with finger detangling, it can cause knots still when pulling your hair apart because your hair is in need of trim. If you want to go the health route, malnutrition can cause dry hair to damaged hair. Lack of Iron can cause shedding, if you have thyroid issues that can cause thinning to balding, high blood pressure, menopause, eczema, etc. The list goes on..., but as a licensed professional, we can’t just look at a client’s hair a say, oh you not detangling right, lol. It sometimes goes deeper than that. But thanks for your input and watching my video 😊👌🏾
What’s the name of this song in the background?
It’s Change of Heart, here’s the link 😍❤️bsta.rs/8ac9d8b
Beautiful
AuntyM66 Thankyou 😊💜💜💜
What is the hydration treatment?
I compare it to watering a plant. The steam helps to open the cuticles in your hair strands. So it’s like penetrating the hair with water.
Nice cut
I wish you were in NY lol
Hi, have you seen hair growth in clients that get a silk press like once a month? (Straight hair naturals)
With the natural hair I’ve had some that have come close to it but I haven’t had a consistent client in regards to the monthly, but you still can achieve hair growth. As long as you’re not retouching with the flatiron continuously while your hair is straight, trimming when it’s time to, doing your protein treatments once a month, and deep conditioning on shampoo day. You will still see length retention/growth. When we’re consistent with the health of our hair, it has no choice but to flourish 😊❤️ hope this helps
Krissypoo HairView yes it helps thanks ☺️
I feel the back side roots were not straight. A hot comb would have gotten it straight
Thankyou for watching 😊👌🏾
@Lady Fervor it’s okay, when someone speak their opinion it’s “their” opioid so I don’t trip lol”❤️
May I ask what temperature the flatiron was set on ? And did you use the blow dryer to do the primary straightening and drying and then follow up with the flat iron
I used between 410 to 420, and yes I used the Blowdryer 😊. Check out my other videos, they have even more information in them. The steps that you see in my videos are each step that I actually take.
Looks like she didn't comb her hair for 5 months
Is it as soft as it looks or corse as I think it is
It’s super thick so about a mixture of both 😊
Where are you located?
Shreveport/ Bossier Louisiana
I love curly hair 😞. I want to have my hair like her
So beautiful..
Just take the mask off lol smh...There's no point. Pretty hair!
😂😂
😛😋😍🥰🥰
Are u in NYC?
I’m in Louisiana but I do plan on traveling in the near future
🤩🤩🤩🤩
how long does the silk press usually last?
2 weeks to a month depending on the season and up keep

Facts”
What she said ☺️❤️ and have a consistent regimen on month to month treatments(protein etc.) Deep condition on Shampoo days and most importantly having a consistent trim regimen
If I keep getting silk presses won’t that cause heat damage ?
Iam Nay A great way to prevent heat damage is to invest in a great flatiron and Blowdryer. I recommend at the “most” twice a month flatironing,. Once you flatiron don’t do retouches if your hair becomes frizzy, let it naturally revert back to natural. Once every month do your treatments( protein treatment, deep conditioner and hot oil treatment if needed).
Krissypoo HairView so do the protein treatments every month ? So it doesn’t overload right ?
Yep the protein treatment will help to keep the integrity and strength of the curl pattern.
Janeya Beaton-Burton Yes, your hair has to have a balance of Moisture and Protein. Having to much protein can cause it to become dry, and like a stiff brittle feel which will cause shedding and breakage. I recommend once a month followed by deep conditioning. A easy way to keep up with maintenance on your hair is doing all your treatments(for ex: like the protein, a mask treatment, hot oil, deep conditioning and any others) once a month. With the deep conditioner you can do that when ever needed.
@@KrissypooHairView can you suggest your top protein masks or treatment
People still spray oil sheen LOL.
It’s so dry and brittle though
Sometimes I wonder if stylist know there’s a difference between split and uneven ends
Yes I do, and I also educate my client on it too
Beautiful what kind of shampoo you used
I used a clarifying shampoo followed by a moisturizing shampoo. KeraCare clarifier in the blue bottle and the Design Essentials Honey Creme moisturizing shampoo.
Can you help me build a hair regimen?

@@KrissypooHairView I replied to you on Instagram.
Kinda bugs me that she didn't trim the nape first.
That’s your preference or technique but Thankyou for watching 😊👌🏾
@@KrissypooHairView its not about preference at all? The nape is shorter, so if you trim like this, you miss the split ends on the nape which then continue to split up the strand?
Am I wrong?
This hair needs a GOOD cut. There are too many bad ends left.
Thank you for watching 😊👌🏾
❤️❤️❤️
It could be straighter but glad she never chop it off.
Thankyou for watching 😊❤️
Why is it called a silk press? Why not just call it "straightening hair" .
That’s what I said..it doesn’t look any more “silky” than what you achieve at home.🤷🏽♀️
Because in the Black Culture when we had Relaxed hair the hair would be straight but had a chemical feel to it. With the Hair in Natural State (no chemicals) Straightening the hair has more of a Soft and Silky feel to it.

Women go natural to grow their hair
Alice the Great And the picture that you see when you click on the video clearly shows her growth. Thankyou for watching my video 😊❤️👌🏾
@@KrissypooHairView but beauticians always want to cut the hair , therefore eliminating the new growth. Crazy!
Alice the Great New growth comes from roots not your ends. If you have splits ends and see through the hair, the length retention will be a waste because your hair will be thin brittle and unhealthy.
@@KrissypooHairView beauticians cut more than spit ends. They cut so much more hair that eliminates the length of the new growth. Black women hair don't grow as fast as white women or other ethnic groups hair. Our hair is kinky and bimble and require more oil and softness. My beautician had a large white clientele and she tried to keep cutting my hair every visit. I told No! My hair grew just fine without a massive cut.
Too many passes at the roots... i hate the wen stylist do that shit, one pass that is it...
Thankyou for watching my video ☺️👌🏾
