Why this song gives me the chills, in the most negative and yet nostalgic and comforting way possible I want to cry my eyes out listening to this song but I just can’t because at the same time i don’t really feel that sad and melancholic at all, this explains my love for Mac demarco

This song makes me regret doing so many mistakes, it lets me see my fools and everything I’ve made wrong. It makes me regret so many things I can’t imagine. It’s just makes me feel free and sad. I like how music makes me thinking of something you never was thinks about before.
In January i lost my job, my girlfriend, my grandfather and a very precious friend. In the first days of February i almost lost my apartment. Songs like this help me move forward.

Melancholic bliss, not a depressive state but rather a state of a inner freedom, abandoning this reality, escaping the noise and entering the dreamscape at will, not having to be in a deep slumber to experience it, just a deepened state of self awareness.
Realising what is not meant to be realised, feelings overwhelm my heart. Crying is such a waste isn't it? But it's what my heart yearns for, and my brain denies. On this road alone, I don't know where I'm going, but I'm definitely not anywhere.
