Am i the only one who likes sunscreen with a white cast? I only wear black and the white cast gives me this gray pale unnatural skin color gives a vampire aesthetic to my look
Hehe- actually the white cast with this one actually works REALLY good under makeup, I was really impressed with how well this one worked under a BB cream- it was really nice!
I can only use mineral sunscreens so I am here for all the mineral ones. I do prefer tinted ones but as long as they are thinner formulas I’m here for it. ❤️❤️
Thanks for the message about not mixing your sunscreen! I've seen a lot of people here on UA-cam saying that they do that. What a terrible idea! It defeats the point of buying a reliable sunscreen.
Ugh. I wish I could wear more mineral sunscreens, but that damn white cast got me looking like a ghost lol BUT the suncut UV mild care milky gel by kose is AMAZAINGGGGG. It’s a combination sunscreen with zinc oxide that doesn’t leave a cast...on me 😬 jbeauty is where it’s at in my opinion 👍
@@NOBSBeauty You definitely should! Hi Sarah, I'd like to highly recommend you 3 products: - Jan Marini tinted mineral sunscreen SPF 45: not cheap but so, so good! It's water resistant and it has a nice tint. It's moisturizing. It looks like a light coverage foundation. Best mineral sunscreen for me, so far. - Cerave Itch Relief Lotion: Amazing for the neck if you use retinol or anything irritating on it. It has an anesthetic compound that can be used on the face as well. It was recommend by my doctor to control contact dermatitis. It doesn't contain hydrocortisone. - Cetaphil Eczema Soothing Moisturizer: Such an underated product with so many amazing ingredients, including colloidal oatmeal! I use it daily on my face and body. Great for skin barrier restoration. I hope you get to try them. Have a great weekend!
Ooh- going to have to check those out! I'm really trying to avoid hydrocortisone- it is such a double edged sword- at first the itch stops but then the next day it will happen again. For me it has become an absolute last resort option (thankfully I haven't needed it much at all anymore). Always looking for something good for my neck area.
@@NOBSBeauty Agreed. We should avoid hydrocortisone as much as we can and in cases that the irritation is not extreme. I used to use hydrocortisone for my neck and face sometimes. The CeraVe anti itch or even the Sarna unscented lotion totally substituted that for me. The CeraVe is more moisturizing though. I hope you like them! :)
I love this sunscreen so much I tried it yesterday, first I thought texture gonna be super silicone because I see Cyclopentasiloxane first thing in ingredient but it's not , it's feel like you apply skincare and for me white cast is not bad it fade away in 1-2 minute after apply, my face look brighten but not white sorry for my bad english.
You're English is impressive- probably better than a lot of people who use English as their only language! This is a really nice sunscreen- and I found it makes my skin look so much better under makeup!
The Cotz Sport is a nice mineral sunscreen that is waterproof up to 80 minutes and the white cast dissipates after 10 minutes and has a nice finish. The Vanicream spf 50 is a close second/tie. Both are fragrance free and work great on sensitive skin. Just FYI for your friend.
I was just on Cotz's website and was so impressed with all their options- I'd only tried one from them in the past but now I'm exicted to try out more from them, and I love that they have some tinted options, too! Going to have to check out the Vanicream today, too- also want to try their lip spf!
Another mineral one from the same brand is their kid sunscreen. It’s comes in a light yellow opaque bottle. Be careful because there is another one from the same brand also for kids but it’s a chemical one I’m saying that because both bottles looks almost the same. The only difference between them is the mineral one’s cap is light blue. Both are alcohol and fragrance free but the chemical one is more emollient.
My favorite sunscreen is from Biore -- the UV Athlizm line. It has alcohol and fragrance as well, but it's the easiest to apply and re-apply for me, and my skin has no issues with it. I like the milk for first application and the essence for re-applications. And I like the red packaging - my favorite color 😅
I do like the Athlizm, I was nervous about the fragrance but I found it to be pretty light and dissipates quickly, which was so nice! If they made it fragrance free it would be even better!
Hello Sarah , I'd love it if you could review the Cetaphil Kids Liposomal sunscreen SPF 50+ . It has a UVA protection of 35 according to Cyrille Laurent.
I'm interested to know as well. For now, I've just been using the ones that didn't work out for my face as body sunscreen (been trying out a lot recently) but they run out so quickly! Interested in ones that won't stick too much to clothing 😅
I typically use whatever I'm trying to finish up for products that didn't work on my face. Although when I'm not doing that I generally love spray's. This one is currently my go-to: Neutrogena Beach Defense Oil-Free Body Sunscreen Spray, SPF 100 or the Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Body Mist Sunscreen SPF 70. Seem to have had good luck with both of those so far!
So funny you ask- I've been working on a Top Ten Sheet Mask video- it has been challenging finding ones that work well for my sensitive skin but I think I should have it wrapped up in a couple weeks. My current favorites are from Klairs- their Rich Tencel Mask and the Cosrx Snail Mucin Mask (although the Cosrx has a light scent, fyi).
Sometimes you never know until you try it out, I think it is worth a try. Sometimes I test new sunscreens on one side of my face for a few days to see how my skin will handle it before I use it over my entire face, just in case.
@@NOBSBeauty you’re totally right - I’ll take your advice re the test - it seems a decent formulation (was great to see the white cast just to know) thanks again for great content - I love your dry sense of humor, something so comforting about listening to you! ❤️
Did u see that Beekman goat milk brand has a New sunscreen QVC has it u get 2 for like 30$ wonder if its good i really have antes to try a New of their face productos i like their body stuff. I received the Canmake sunscreen in the mail yesterday cant wait to try it today.
Love the Canmake- so wonderful! I picked up a Beekman SPF Primer recently- that was from Ulta- the one on QVC looks a little different, but a mineral based sunscreen. Much more affordable than the one from Ulta!
I have the Biore UV Kids Pure Milk. Tried it on my face but was irritating to my sensitive skin. I use it on my body instead. Definite white cast, no irritation. Love the consistency.
Oooh yes- I've got it and will definitely review it- really enjoy the mild version, applies nicely, although has a bit of a scent to it which I wish it didnt have- but for the price it is quite nice, I'll review it asap!
Used it for the first time last night and did like it- very hydrating, probably better as a night cream, but I'm going to give it a try today and see how it works in my morning routine, you never know, maybe it will be the perfect morning eye cream?!?!
@@NOBSBeauty how is the shimmer/mica? It looked kinda sparkly, thats why i figured it would be my morning eye cream. Hope it works for u in the morning too!
Does have a cast- although works so nicely under makeup! Dermablend is a great brand- they have been around for a very long time. When I was young a friend of mine had skin issues and used their foundations and powders (this was in the late '80's early '90's) and this was the one brand she could use without having a reaction. Their foundations are really nice- definitely worth checking out.
@@NOBSBeauty can u review the Skin Aqua UV Super Moisture Milk SPF 50+ PA++++ It's waterproof, NO alcohol and fragrance-free. Combo sunscreen. (get the blue bottle, not the pink one..)
Thank you! In this video I'm using the Versed Guards Up Tinted Mineral Sunscreen, it's really nice, tinted, no fragrance and works nicely under Makeup as well as works well on its own as well.

I use mineral white cast around my eyelids and use it to highlight my eyes #blinkblink
