Great video, Jon! The title of it caught my eye, as I have been reevaluating more and more about where I stand and how I should act among my friends and coworkers without faith or of different faiths as I have grown more in my own over the past few months. Would love to hear your take on more specific examples of how to respond to some common cultural norms in our society.
As long as we don't go the other way and not speak the truth and have a firm but fair stance on it then I agree with what you're saying. I've seen a lot of Christians end up saying sinful lifestyles are ok when they aren't and that's dangerous. I agree we need to show God's love, saying and doing things with a right heart but we must also remember that this peaceful approach won't always work because Satan will use certain individuals to test how much of a Christian you really are...will he be able to get you to accept sinful ways and reject truth or will we stand firm to what God says? at some point we will end up offending someone and we'll be hated if you are not of this world. To end on a good note though, we are on the winning side and I rest in that hope God bless.
WolfGirlBeLike , I totally agree with you. Sometimes it's a thin line that we get to walk. I think it's most important to incline our hearts towards honoring Jesus in all things. There will surely be times when we have to say hard things - hard to those who don't know Jesus, and also have to accept not being understood at such times. It takes constant reminding of our identity in him, and having him as our source of value to be able to stay loving to people, and yet not succumb to social norms which are against God.
Big Shot absolutely, especially in this day and age, we can't afford to give any room to the godless acts and beliefs of our society, we just can't or the devil will have a foothold and will are us away. Jesus paid such a price for us, something we don't deserve, we must remember that and in return make Him Lord of all, for He deserves to have that honour. I pray for you, for me and for everyone who reads this to have Jesus as our foundation for everything and to not let what's around us to affect how we are, in Jesus name. Amen.
Big Shot haha lol I never upload I just use my account to comment on videos but thanks for the sub anyway, I love to be a blessing whenever I have an opportunity. God bless you and your family :)
Seriously!! I'm the 200th subscriber on your channel and you haven't even fired a single shot yet!!! Lol. Ok. It's alright if that's your choice. Wish you the best.
After you've finished this Bible Study can you do one about Revelation? Also do you know "Bible Flock Box" a christian youtuber who talks about the end times?
+hazeleyedlady66 Don't worry! I watch his videos that are really helpful for me to unterstand the End Times but I don't believe anything he says, I have my own believes and I always ask the Holy Spirit for guidance! God bless you🌹
hazeleyedlady66 yes I was going to say the same thing, he can't be trusted, however, in his wrongness we must remember God cares about him so we should pray for him :)

Jesus was not mocking the woman, He was just testing her faith to give us an example on how persistent and steadfast we should be in our faith. The israelits thought that the gentiles were separated from God, they had no right to be healed or saved, but Jesus here shows us that the whole world is precious, loved and cared for by God.
Is Paul asking for a Christian reformed version of cultural norms? or is he saying to not conduct yourself in a way that discredits your message as you teach about God? (verses 5, 7,8, and 10) Those are 2 very different things.
Do you ever head to the Great White North? I know Canadians would welcome you with arms wide open .....along with a Beavertail ( deep-fried sugary treat), poutine and a Tim Horton's coffee! LOL
What about women becoming pastors or preachers (I'm obviously not one mainly because I feel that job is for the most stable in their faith and mature).not gonna lie I'm not very mature
Bethany M. we should all serve God and Jesus witnessing to others. I have heard talks about this in the Bible. you a Born again Christian cause that is the most important decision could make in your life. you say you are a Christian however didn't say you are a Born again Christian.
Women should serve in the church but should not hold offices like the fivefold ministry, those are only for men as the order of God is described in ephesians. Read ephesians all the way through and he will give you clarity. When it seems he changes topics over to marriage he is still speaking of his church. God bless you
I need help! I am extremely in love with a guy who is impossible for me to marry and stuff, but I feel guilty being in love because I don’t want God to feel like “left out” if you know what I mean... I think he’s a Christian but I don’t know... what should I do? God bless you!❤️❤️ Edit: also! He doesn’t know I exist so he isn’t my boyfriend or anything!
Pommes What I would recommend is simply involving God in your decisions, invite Him into your day and into your thoughts. Invite Him with your mouth, say it out loud in a quiet place you won't be interrupted. He already knows your heart, what you feel for the boy. Having a relationship with God means you can talk to Him about whatever is on your mind and trust me, He loves to hear from you. He is only "left out" if you leave Him out. So invite Him into your circumstances and put Him first. Try to hear what He says. I hope this helps, enjoy your day 💕
I love Megan Sluder's response! You MUST put God first in everything that you do and in all of your decisions. When I was younger I used to put so much focus on my romantic relationships (ones that I was in or wanted to be in) instead of putting all of my focus on God. This turned out to be detrimental later on. These are the years that you need to put ALL of your focus on Him. In time He will lead the right MAN to you. Ask God specifically to lead your thoughts elsewhere. I truly do not think that what you are doing now is healthy.
You are a blessing dear Jon J...Love from Mekele, Ethiopia

did you ever do a video on when you became a Born again Christian and how it happened?
The man is still the head of the house. Culture changes but God never changes. The head of woman is man and the head of man is Christ.
Matt 15, 21-28: Can you explain this passage for me?
Jesus was not mocking the woman, He was just testing her faith to give us an example on how persistent and steadfast we should be in our faith. The israelits thought that the gentiles were separated from God, they had no right to be healed or saved, but Jesus here shows us that the whole world is precious, loved and cared for by God.
