Guy talks about he was somebody's son and brother. Yes he was. But the hospital employee is as well someones son or daughter. The officer shot him to protect that employee.
So a mentally unstable man threatened to kill himself and the ignorant aggressive unaccountable police officer killed him instead. Then the District Attorney said this all makes perfect sense. Fukin gross.
Yes. Imagine he approached you in a small room during a psychotic break whilst wielding a knife. Would you prefer the cops gamble with your life or make certain you’re protected? One wound to you can be fatal; fortunately the police have guidelines which preclude him getting close in this state because the unthinkable has happened far too many times.
Soooo to keep a man from taking his life YOU take his life. You have your firearms out pointed towards the man with a civilian, who should have been ordered to safety, standing in near distance. TERRIBLE tactics; they used the orderly as an excuse to justify this killing 😢😢😢
They could've TAZED him. Though no charges were brought upon the officers, THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED for NO ATTEMPT TO USE NON-LETHAL FORCE!!!!! SHAME ON THESE OFFICERS!! FN SHAME ON THEM!!
They did what they had to do in order to keep staff safe. They are highly trained and skilled in this type of situation. The officer is an amazing person with a daughter that he takes care of. I am so glad he was able to go home to her. I am sorry the man lost his life but, when you pull a deadly weapon it can have dire consequences. I am sure the family already had the money they THOUGHT they were going to get from suing the govt. They kicked the man out of the house that same night. Where is their responsibility?
🤨The Officer didn't have to $hoot, soo many freaking times!!! Since he ended up unaliving the mentally challenged vet..., why didn't he juz let him unalive himself?!? What's the difference..., since he lost his life, anyway!?!🤔😢 Another victim, that was Not heard; overlooked; misdiagnosed; shuffled thru appts; lack of treatments; and failed by the Veteran Administration Medical Team & system. My own personal feelings, opinion, and partial experiences!!!
📺 Ummm, if I didn’t know any better I would’ve thought that was a Reno 911 skit. The way he was crouching down while holding the knife to him. It was very weird looking. Doesn’t make any sense why somebody would act like that. Even if he was crazy, that’s still odd. Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction.
Wtf...Why fire so many rounds? How about trying a tazer before this escalated.

Suicide by cop?
1. "Twenty One Foot Rule" dictates the use of force.
2. The hospital worker is at fault. for interfering
Right what u sticking around for? I don't understand that, the exit was just right there
He’s obviously only trying to hurt himself. It was a knife not a gun. So they had to shoot that many shots. Come on
Prayers for all involved.

Just gross is your lack of understanding.
@@SnickC13 well, by all means, fill me in.
Why so many Shots???
Can you honestly answer how many you would have shot?
They deleted my comment 13 shots
None of these officers were trained to deal with this type of situation...
Soooooooo.....their tasers don't work?!? He's at the hospital for a reason!!!😒😒🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
Was 6 to 8 times necessary cause he walked near another human who could of walked away?

That nurse look like they had enough time to hot the exit or stay in that room n shut the door. Why stick around?
