I should have tinted my teardrop aviator, I was a bit sceptical when they ask me if I want it tinted. I never knew it can look that good.
I can’t get enough of these glasses! I got a prescription recently and I was dead set on gold coloured aviators. Those 70s styles really sold em to me!

Consistent honest advice on aviators Rob. What's amazing is everything you said here (3 years ago) could have been said word for word in a video produced today IMO. Your book on choosing glasses is brilliant too. (To digress from the topic of aviators, just wanted to say The Fulla Reykjavik Eyes you wore are really cool too and definitely stand the test of time!) Great content!

What's quite interesting now I think of it is how Covid really slowed the trends - as such the same fashion advice applies now just as much as then. Although I have noticed the British public catching up to Europe, and I like to think I've maybe influenced a handful of people to progress the collective eyewear consciousness in the UK over the last few years

Yeah, tints with an aviator frame can look amazing! Blue, green or yellow are best, or maybe even pink if you want to be bold! 15%to25% tint is usually best.

Sorry for the late reply, all depends on how it fits to your face. If you're looking through the middle of the frames, that tends to be better.

The sizing is on the link I gave to you - 50mm x 19, which is a medium size for a round frame.

I have never seen anyone who looks good in aviator glasses.... Like they instantly make literally anybody look like a creep/ sex offender/ cult leader. Their reputation makes it nearly impossible to trust anyone wearing them. 😅

@@cole6789 i mean i have no doubt in my mind that they are good people, in fact i have a friend who wears them sometimes, just saying they make anybody LOOK like a serial killer, and even my friend who is a good person is no exception. But the thing is, no matter how kind or good looking you are, nobody really looks good in aviators. Especially because the reputation they've gotten after a lot of people who wore them. It's kinda like toothbrush moustache. I have no doubt in my mind there are good people who decide to style their moustache that way, and charlie chaplin had one as well and he was a good guy, but the end of the day, when i see a guy with a toothbrush moustache, the first thing that comes to mind isn't Chaplin, but Hitler. XD
