    That Ardun is the stuff of dreams! The old set up was pretty rad...the money in the Ardun could have gotten him a Brookeville body! But the Ardun...just beautiful and looks right at home! Go LGKustoms, keep moving forward! (catching up on videos I missed before I subscribed!)

      If Gordy wanted a brookville body, or even an OG body, he could get one. For him, the fact it’s a glass body doesn’t matter.

    It just doesnt get any better then that! Arduns are just the coolest looking engine set ups in my opinion...or anything hemi headed. You sir need to invest in some car dollies. I just bought an inexpensive set off of amazon to try and they are amazingly pretty stout and have made my life much easier. I would love to have go-jacks , but they are stupid expensive. Keep up the good work!

      I knew there would be a car dolly comment haha. I had some from Princess Auto years ago and they were awful. I realize Princess auto isn’t known for high quality, but it kinda turned me off them.
      What brand were the ones you bought?

    • @chevelleranch7481

      @@LGKustoms The ones I bought were on Amazon and are Goplus brand....they are just made out of diamond plate steel. They dont look like much , but I rolled the dice for the $160 bucks and bought them. Once assembled , they have had no issues rolling a 71 C10 around the shop....as long as the floor is clean!! They will hang up on very small things. I dig them though...it beats doing the floor jack shuffle!

    That Ardun flathead is beyond badass! However, I think that trans mount looked a bit sketchy. The amount of money the owner spent on the engine, he could have spent another couple of bucks on a new mount lol. Still a gorgeous hot rod!

    • @LGKustoms
      @LGKustoms  Рік тому +1

      The transmission mount is more that hefty enough. 3/16 plate welded to 1.75” DOM tubing. It’s had some extensions and holes added over the years, but that’s what gives these cars history and character.

    • @rattlekankustoms
      @rattlekankustoms Рік тому

      @@LGKustoms it was just the extensions that looked a little janky. The actual mount and crossmember looked good! Just like the rest of the car. Thanks for the reply! 🤘🍻

    Hit the like before watching. What’s the Pontiac going in now then? I saw you had swapped out the steering , would you say that it’s smother or better. I no you haven’t tried it on the road but just the feel of it. And the last one did the pedals come in one of those speedway boxes. Thanks Tim. Love the swap!!!

    • @LGKustoms
      @LGKustoms  Рік тому

      Yes Jim swapped out the steering, but like huh mentioned we haven’t tried it yet. Personally I thought the Vega box was pretty smooth myself. The pedals are made by TCI, but bought through speedway.

      I guess I don’t understand what you mean by outdated. I don’t believe I stated the hydraulic throw out bearing as being state of the art.
      Nor am I aware of anything other clutch set up than a mechanical set up, like a clutch fork operated by linkage or cable. Or hydraulic, such as this.
      If you know something I don’t, please elaborate.
